Top of the window is translucent; Office is reflected.

The top of my window of Firefox, or not full screen is translucent across its width. The office (or at the top of the window immediately above the one I use) shows through, which makes them extremely difficult to see/read the top of page three toolbars. How can I make this area of the opaque window like the rest of the Firefox window?

Try disabling the transparency of the windows.

Right-click in the free space on your desktop.

Left click on personalization.

There are four options at the bottom of the screen, select 'window color and appearance '.

Select a border color

Uncheck the box: "enable transparency".

I can't find any Mac preferences or preferences of Firefox that address this issue.

  • Is it possible to scroll the timeline left or right without having to move the mouse to the top of the window?

First has a really cool feature that allows you to toggle a tool at hand to grab the chronology and away from the everywhere where you happen be left and right. I see that hearing has a hand tool if you navigate with the mouse to the top of the window, but it turns out to be a frustrating problem on my bench I have a large monitor, so up there, just to spend a little is frustrating. I know you can hold SHIFT key and scroll the mouse wheel, but this is very insensitive and in many too small increments to be helpful for what I want. I still find myself all just wishing I could grab the chronology of everywhere where is my cursor and simply drag to the left or to the right. Is it possible somehow?

The left and right of the Page Page is very convenient. Who might do the trick for now.

    Hi douglash21414001,

I think maybe it's a coincidence, that nothing is installed with ExportPDF, so nothing should have changed your web browser. That said, you can clear the cache of the browser and then re-open your browser. (What browser do you use?)

You can also try to restart your computer, if the browser is restarted does not solve the problem. But still, I don't think that this problem is related to the ExportPDF.

Please let us know how it goes.

  • How can I get the bar from the top of the window elements to be visible on my desk Mavericks?

Photoshop elements 12 opens on the upper part of the window not available on my desk of the Mavericks.  Without access to the bar at the top of the window, I am unable to reposition the window.  Restart the computer and restart the program does not reset its position.  The top of the window is no longer visible on a secondary monitor.  Any ideas out there on how to fix this?

Go to System Preferences > displays and set the resolution of the screen way down, then back again. Usually, which will reset the positions of windows.

  • If I don't have that one window without tab, how can I remove the label of the tab at the top of the window?

OK, I open a window on my home page. In the upper left part of the window, I have the Firefox icon and next to it the name of the page that I am. Below that is the menu bar which I use enough to leave it there. And now, with no other tabs open, is a bunch of lable/tab tab / be it with the icon of Firefox and next to him, the name of the page, I'm on. Below that is the url/address bar which usually also shows the name of the page that I am.

I like a clean screen with small footprint as possible. Usually, I know which window to page / I'm on because I'm the one who got me here. I have need a band to additional tabs for a window that has no open tabs take more space and tell me what I already know.

If I could drop the icon of Firefox waste than any of the top of my screen that would be great, but I'm sure that's not an option.

If I could put this menu bar on the same line as the address bar, I'd be in heaven to the space used effectively! But I'm also sure that that won't happen either.

This new band/tab tab label if I know that does not need to be there because he has never been before until I opened a new tab and logically would then use for tabs.

But, given that I don't like and I want not gone, I presume this means that it is new, because one or more persons thought redundancy is fun and there is no option to remove it either.

Someone can give information me in places where my ignorance cause me to suffer here? Give back me my thumb at the top of my screen and I promise not to ask for a mile!

Thanks to all who can / will help me.
    Much peace

Did you try to uncheck the "always show the bar tab" checkbox in the options on the tab? See the tab preferences and settings.

This problem can be caused by that extended the Yahoo! toolbar or extension of Babylon also well down and covers the top of the browser window and therefore links and buttons in this part of the screen not clickable.

  • Problem with the Task Manager. The top of the window is absent, there is no button or ways to Exchange to treat the view. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have not downloaded anything unusual recently

This behavior can occur if the Task Manager is running in tiny footprint mode. If you double-click on the empty in the border around the tabs, Manager space tasks switches to this mode.
To enable the task to his typical display mode Manager, double-click the top border of the window.  TaurArian [MVP] 2005-2010 - Update Services

  • The top of the window disappeared. Cannot minimize and two monitors no longer work

Hello! It's really stupid, but from what I understand, I must have pressed a shortcut to something because now the top of my window disappeared (you know, the part "minimize", "maximize" and "Close" buttons). I found an explanation in the face of the same problem with illustrator, and the guy has resolved:

"In the Illustrator menu bar, click"Window", then"framework of Application". It seems that the unchecked option will leave the application 'attached' to your primary monitor. Audit, he will place the application in a window of 'free form' that you are free to move. »

This article describes my problem and and provides a solution, but I can't seem to find the setting of "application framework" in first CC. Help, please! Strange how dual monitors no longer work, despite their work earlier today, so I assumed that my window is maximized touched it. Don't know what shortcut, I pressed. I tried to reset the workspace.

    Thank you!

ALT + space, then "maximize" worked. Seen that option earlier, but only tried the option reduce...

Monitors to work as it should.

Thank you much for the help!

  • Suspend and expand/collapse buttons disappeared from the top of the Windows Sidebar

I have a new Mac Mini that I loaded with Windows XP & VMware Fusion 2.0 + upgrade, all at the end of November 2008.   Until very recently, when the Windows Sidebar appeared, she was "buttons" on its top edge, grey-strip 'Suspend' (left) & enlarge/reduce (right).  These buttons have disappeared.  So, I have a workaround.  I use the Help menu in which I type "Suspend", which adds a line to 'suspend' drop-VM & allows me to suspend windows.  I also have a workaround to enlarge/reduce function.

Why have I lost these buttons?  But, more importantly, how to restore their superior, gray band edge of the Windows Sidebar?

    Thank you.

  • How can I remove invalid user names typed by mistake, but this show to the top in the window anyway.

For example, one of my bank sites, there is a window to type the user name. When I have not given attention, I didn't know that I had not touched the button tab and then type the password. Now the name of username/password combo appears in the list in the window and I can't get rid of it. On my laptop, it's Windows 7 + Firefox browser and the bad combo is easily removed. On the desktop, I use Apple MiniMac with the Firefox browser, but deletion does not work. Use the Safari browser to the deletion? I've never use, prefer Firefox. Thank you

    • Click on the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
    • Select an entry in the drop-down list
    • Press the DELETE key (on a Mac: shift + delete) to remove it.
    • Tools > Options > Security: passwords: "saved passwords" > "show passwords".
