  • Greek subtitles from any source for my Toshiba 32L 4333

I thing I tried everything. Another encoding (utf8, ansi, unicode), different formats, different sources (usb, dlna) subtitles but it seems I can't do (Greek) subtitles are displayed.

I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

As much as I know, that subtitles don't are not supported via DLNA.

But play video files from USB, it should be possible to activate the subtitles.
Video files must be in the format of MKV file. Subtitles should be stored in the srt file in the movie folder. The srt file also supports the UTF-8 format.

Select UTF-8 standard, text editor such as Notepad ++.
Then, you choose the character set and I also choose the option convert to UTF - 8.

  • Problem with Greek subtitles 4333 - Toshiba 32 L

    Hello

December 13, I bought the TV 32 L 4333 for home use, and soon I realize that the TV media center could not support the Greek language...

Even if I tried to find any menu 'hidden' to change the preferences of coding (as most of the televisions a lot older than that), there was no solution to my problem.

After two weeks (19, 12, 2013) I communicate with the local (by e-mail) service in Greece informing them of my problem and I have still not solution but just for a response... just like "... in update future firmware your problem will be solved."

I do not know if someone has experienced something in common with this model, but also with this company, but I feel very disappointed...

There is another method for mirroring my screen on the TV with a Wi - Fi connection?

Could you please clarify this statement because I m not quite sure what you are talking about

The Toshiba 40L7335DG supports the Intel WiDi 3.5 standard and the standard Intel WiDi 3.5 makes compatible WiDi Miracast.

  • Toshiba 40RL933G: software to manage movie on Win 7 PC files

    Hi all.

I am looking for another software than the Windows Media Player to manage my movies on my pc.

    Reason:
Sometimes I copy a new film in movie library, or I add a new folder to the library and media Player does not index them. ->, I do not see the new movies in the libraty and so I can't go to my toshiba TV and watch the movie with the network of media Player that is built into the TV.

Some movies I can see at the end of a few seconds or say in the Media Player "are seeking changes in the news media" then I see new films in the library as well as on the tv when I opened the network folder on my TV. But some movies do not appear even after hours of waitung.

When I remove the database of media player and rebulid them, for the most part it works and I see all the movies, but it takes each time 30 to 40 minutes.

I am therefore looking for a media player such as Windows Media Player, which can handle this better.

I have a Toshiba TV and a Windows 7 PC with Media Player 12.0.7601.18150 40RL933G.

    thany for your help.

    Hello

I recommend checking the VLC media player
VLC media player can be used as a server and a client to transmit and receive network streams. VLC is able to stream all that he can read.

XBMC 13.0 Open Source Media player is also great tool

  • Toshiba 42UL863G Usb external subtitles

Hi, I need help with a 42UL863G from Toshiba, that I just sold. When the customer plays a movie of his external hard drive, it can get the subtitles to display. Subtitles are appointed for the same film. On the other TV, I tried and they worked.

    Thank you in advance,
    Adamos.

Subtitles should be stored in the srt file (srt is perhaps the most fundamental of all formats of subtitles) and this file must be placed in the same directory (folder) as the film.

The srt file also supports the UTF-8 format.
Select UTF-8 standard, text editor such as Notepad ++.
You must choose the character set and I also choose the option convert to UTF - 8.

Of course there are the file formats of different subtitles as idx/sub, idx/rar, smi, ssa, srt, sub.
Then you can try all of these formats, where a format is not supported.

  • Toshiba 46TL938G DLNA servers subtitles work, but USB only

If I play something with subtitles of DLNA does not work. But if I copy this exact film and .srt file on a USB and put it in the 46TL938G, it does not work.

In any case make subtitles of DLNA?

P.S. in any case to date ridiculously obsolete Media Player / usb interface drive that uses Toshiba?
It seems more obsolete than my Samsun TV from 2002!

    > Anyway make subtitles of DLNA?

Someone suggested to change the file format of film.
Subtitles are visible, reading files MKV and AVI but not MP4 files

In this thread, you can also find information that it of possible to read subtitles and movies using transcoding

  • Toshiba 40L7335DG: small delay audio/video using the tuner internal

Sometimes the video audio delay when you use the tv tuner internal.
The delay is sometimes small and insignificant, sometimes reach approximately 500 ms.

When some audio or video settings are set to different values to the default values stay worse.

Other TV (LG) don't have the problem when using the same signal.

    Hello

Have Hmm you tried to reset the TV to factory default?
Do this. I read somewhere else that factory settings could help solve such audio problems.

I had a similar problem with my TV from another manufacturer using a HiFi amplifier as part of s the TV HDMI port.
But I could solve it an option in the menu of the amp which decreased the output of audio sync problems.

  • Can I use Cyrillic subtitles on my TOSHIBA L323950 TV movies USB?

It seems that the TV does not support subtitles in any language Cyrillic or maybe there is something that I do everything.
When I play a movie from USB-flash, there are also subtitles in. SRT format.
The video is OK, but the subtitles (in Bulgarian language) seem like some strange symbols.

I'm trying to save the SRT file with UNICODE encoding, but in this case the TV freezes as soon as I start the videofile. I also try to UTF-8 encoding - in this case, the empty file plays well, but no subtitles are detected at all.

So my question is: this model takes into Cyrillic SRT sub title during playback of movies USB?
If so, why can I not see them.

    Thank you!

I have the same problem on my Toshiba TV. Cyrillic subtitles cannot be displayed correctly. The same as symbols?,?, or can not be displayed correctly.

So far I have t found no solution to this. Reading a few other forums other people described the same problem for the Spanish language (a e i o u).
Firmware is the latest version, but the problem is still there.

By the way: can you please test this method and I would like to know if it works for you.

    Hello:

I just bought a Smart TV Toshiba 40L7335DG and when I try to watch content from a USB key with video (AVI, MP4, MKV,...) and subtitles in. Format SRT (most common) I don't see the subtitles on the screen. The video file and the subtitle file has the same name and the amounts in the same folder.

How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

I tried with the MKV and AVI and me can see subtitles with these containers... Why not with the MP4?

  • Disk HARD & CD/DVD ROM need replacement - it is better to replace them?

Hi, I have a laptop of Satellite S5200-701 that I had for about 8 years. It has been a good laptop and I had no problem with him, but he must show his age that I have now two problems.

    1. I think the HARD drive is about to pack up, as it started making a lot of very unpleasant noise!
    2. the CD/DVD drive has stopped working. Lights up and when I close the player with a disc, it makes a very brief as sound its trying to turn the disc, but is not actually do.

It is economically viable to replace the CD rom and HARD disk drive or it's time to get a new laptop?

If the value of replacement parts can be improved etc.

Thanks a lot for any help & suggestions.

    Phil

    Hello!

In your case I buy a new laptop, but when only browsing on the internet and write emails, the S5200 Satellite should be fast enough.

It is quite easy to change these components. For the CD/DVD drive, you need to turn the laptop upside down, next to the icon of the TOSHIBA Style Bay securing screw, move the slider to the unlocked position, and then you can remove the drive.

If you change the HARD drive, you must remove only the two screws that attach the HARD drive cover.

    Good bye
