  There is a partition of 3rd extra that is not visible!
  The 3rd partition is automatically created y Vista and it contains the Vista backup files that can be used as a last resort!
  If something goes wrong with the operating system, and then Vista can be restored and repaired using the files on that partition.

  I think that means Tempro this partition.

  Toshiba Tempro tool always sends a notification if a new software / driver was transferred to the page of European driver of Toshiba.

  This is only a notification, and it doesn t mean that you need to update anything!

  So if your laptop is running without problem, then you don t need to update anything!
  If you wish, you can disable this software also in msconfig--> startup.

  I did it because I t need all notifications

• How to uninstall Toshiba Tempro?

  Please can someone talk me through the process to uninstall Toshiba Tempro V3.0 from Windows 7?

  I have it disabled, but it is still running at startup and trying still go out on the internet looking for alerts.

  It is not on the list of programs, that I can uninstall it using Control Panel, and there is no option to uninstall the software itself. Despite Toshiba, saying: it may be uninstalled at any time I can find no way to do it myself and no instructions to do on the internet.

  You can install it in the usual way. Open Control Panel > programs and features. TEMPRO is listed. Click on it and choose uninstall.
  Follow the on-screen menu and Tempro is removed from the system.

  Hello! So I was constantly doing this review of Toshiba Tempro saying that I did read some messages. He said that I had not read two messages (that of April, the other may), but I had. Regardless of how many times I opened Tempro and read the messages, he kept saying that I didn't.

  I have the same system as yours, I also noticed the same messages (even if I opened the in Tempro). What I've done and what you have asked is disable.

  Went to do a little update on my P-850KFE Satellite.

  In the framework of which I thought I would upgrade Tempro, but when I try to install it it says that there is an existing version, please remove it.

  I m not very well why it doesn't work on Vista Ultimate, but to my knowledge, there are a few Vista Toshiba Utilities and tool that are not fully supported by Ultimate.

  But why you use Tempro? This tool reports only if a new driver has been transferred on the Toshiba driver page.

  With regard to the Tempro tool;
  AFAIK the Tempro tool works only with models of European Toshiba laptops.
  Maybe the serial number of your laptop is not present in the database

  Otherwise I recommend once again the serial number because of some issue of typo... in many cases a few letters and mixed numbers (0 and O or I and l etc.)

  Alternatively, you can try to reinstall or update the Tempro tool.

  Usually reinstalling should help. Remove the Tempro system, clean using CCleaner registry entries, restart the laptop and try to install Tempro again.

  In the worst cases, remove Tempro and the problem is solved. In General, it is a useful tool in Toshiba but in fact you don t he need at all. I removed it from the system. In a first time, it runs in right context and slow down the performance of s for laptop and inform me of updates which are not so important to the functionality of the laptop.

  Perhaps in the future make you clan installation operating system with original Toshiba recovery image and after doing this, you will have clean OS preinstalled with working perfectly Tempro.
