  I don't know if this will help you, but on the Toshiba download page I found software for tuner TV USB for Vista 32 bit - check HERE.

  I didn't test it with my USB TV tuner (I have the same). What I did is to install it with WXP CD delivery. Vista later offered to me to find the Vista driver automatically.
  I just followed link offered and all goes well. You can try the same thing.

  The BSOD appears usually due to a hardware problem problem or software commutabilite.
  I think in your case it s a software problem and I recommend updating the driver.

  The new driver could be found on the European driver Toshiba page in the Options area.
  On the driver page choose this:

  * Options-> Office Accessories based-> tuner TV USB hybrid TV Tuner Windows Vista 32 bit *.

  There you can find Savvy TV driver.

  There is only one available driver for Vista but it should work on Windows 7 too. It would be nice if you write comments ;)

  Long ago, I bought the same device. Now I used it with Windows XP Home edition. Later, with Vista. I had also problems to make it work with Vista, but it worked.

  Unfortunately I can't use it with Win7. It would be nice to have the driver for Win7.
  To be honest I put t think that Toshiba will support more this old device.

  One last thing: is your device also warm enough after a while?

  I have recentlly bought a USB tv tuner hybrid Toshiba. I have connected the device to my laptop before installing the software (which must have read the manual...). However, after the cancellation of the device installation wizard I installed the software and plugged the unit... the BONE has found the new device with the following notification of the ball: "USB tv tuner hybrid found (without firmware)" and a moment later my pc crashed with a blue screen and then stop. I tried to re install the software, update the software (savvy tv 2.0) and nothing happened. My laptop kept crashing the same way... I called Toshiba technicians, suggest that i uograde firmware of the laptop... (? maybe they mean the motherboard BIOS? who knows...?).

  The laptop is not a Toshiba. However, it meets the minimum requirements. My OS is Windows XP SP2, my graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon 1600 and my USB ports work fine with everything. I use an external display instead of the laptop screen (don't know if its relevant...)

  Any help is welcome because I am this close to return to the where I bought this product and request a refund.

  What type of program you use for DVB - T tuner and you use the same program with the borrowed too much stick? If this isn't that Media Center, then I would say, try to reinstall.

  Another thing you can try is to completely uninstall the drivers and registry clean with a few tools. After that, install the latest drivers again and see if it works.

  Unfortunately Toshiba doesn't support Linux and I assume that Toshiba will not offer driver Linux soon. Most of these devices is designed for Windows XP Home or Vista edition.
  I put t have information on future activities, but I recommend you to look for info on the Linux forums.

  Hi, I have Toshiba USB DVB - T and I reinstalled Windows with the always trendy tuner. So I forgot it and now he would not be recognized by the Toshiba or Lite-on software in the devicemanager; It seems that it is not installed correctly.   Simply, I chose the Options-> Options USB-> TV-> USB DVB - T Tuner

  However, I found the one compatible with W2k and WinXP utility.
  So in my opinion it will not work under Vista, but who knows, maybe it works.
