  I heard there was a reset function in Windows 10 but I really didn't think he would do anything. The touch screen did not work when I originally did a new install of Windows 10 so why would it now? But he did. My touch screen works well and even better, he deleted loads of disk space.

  To simply type "reset" in the search and recovery option returns to the update & security. 'Start' this PC with Reset and select this option to remove all. After about an hour or two, my computer was fully functional. The downside was having to reinstall applications and files, but is not a major concern.

  Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user. Once the 'install' process is complete he brought me to the initial configuration for Windows 10 screen, asking me my keyboard and language preference. He would not accept any contact entry. I rebooted it and he went to the advanced configuration where I could use the touch screen to do a complete reset. That has not changed anything. I was able to get into the settings and looked at the Device Manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks in the subtopic of the processor drivers.

  I was able to use the OTG cable to try to re - install Windows 10 from a USB key. When a similar initial settings (language, keyboard) screen broke, I couldn't use the touchscreen. Later, I created a USB with Windows 8.1 thinking he might have a better chance. The same problem. He does not touch inputs. And with a key USB installed via the OTG cable, I can't launch a mouse at the same time.

  To be honest that I n t have this unit and don t have experience with it but I ve checked Toshiba to THE support page and of course, this model is not supported for Win8. What you need are utilities and tools specific to Toshiba.

  In my opinion, if the device is not fully supported you should go back to original Win7 and supported.
  I put t know why you didn t follow the Toshiba s advice on the creation of recovery media. From my experience, that the recorded data are unnecessary, and you will not be able to start the recovery image installation.

  What you need now is the recovery disk. Visit the Toshiba page if there is possibility to order a new. Otherwise contact the closest service Toshiba and ask if they can help you with this.

  I use a laptop Qosmio F750 (PQF75A-02Y00Q).

  Installed on the computer the previous operating system was Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Then, I upgraded the operating system to Windows 64-bit edition 10.

  As expected, this change would cause problems to appear. The thing that is really bothers me right now is that the touch of the keys in the top right of the keyboard do not work as expected.

  The buttons respond always if you touch them, but they do nothing on the screen. for the most part. When I touch the Volume Up / Volume keys down, they work as expected.   After searching for and buying touch screen FT200HQL, it does work with my HP Pavilion laptop dv7-5000, Windows 7, 64-bit.  I have the USB cable is connected (even if it says that it is optional in user's Guide - not an option if you want the touchscreen to work).  I tried it with an Acer, Gateway and an another HP Pavilion laptop (all Win 7), & it works perfectly with them, but not w / mine.  All my drivers are up to date.  (Although there is not driver site Acer for the FT200HQL for Win 7 & I don't think that what they have listed as a driver for Win 8 is a pilot).  A Microsoft Search to ensure the compatibility of the FT200HQL compatible shows and there's nothing I should do.  Help, please!  I really like the monitor & don't want to send again, but I bought it mainly for the touch screen feature.

  My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.

  The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).

  I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.

  Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.
