  Just a reminder that you must use 1.35v memory with CPU Haswell (ix-4xxx). HASWELL will not take 16 GB sticks.

  Hello - I have a new W500 laptop.

  Win7 64 bit

  8 GB RAM

  300 GB HDD

  Processor 3.06 Ghz Dual Core

  When I restart or turn off the laptop is seems not stopped correctly. It does not restart. The only way I can get it lit again is to hold the button for 10 seconds and it completely off it where I have lights up again. I tried to take out the battery and put it back in but it doesn't seem to solve the problem. I don't know, but this problem may have started after I activated Bit Locker.

• 900 Elitepad F.50 (SP68375) G1 firmware update and defect TPM, Bitlocker problem

  I recently installed the firmware recommended for ElitePad 900 G1 (sp68375.exe) running Windows 8.1 update 1

  System BIOS Update F.50 for HP ElitePad 900 G1 Tablet (c04409743)

  In order to install the update I had to suspend bitlocker drive encryption, which is a mandatory requirement in my workplace.

  After properly installing the update of the firmware and trying to catch the bitlocker encryption, Windows reports the following error:

  "BitLocker Drive Encryption error."

  Wizard initialization has failed.

  The BIOS does not correctly contacted the

  Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Contact the

  the computer manufacturer for BIOS upgrade instructions"

  I tried to re-download and reinstall the firmware update, but ended up with the same error after successfully update a second time.

  Someone else (or HP) applied this update firmware and can fix any counselor or a workaround to get BitLocker up and run again? My ElitePad is now reported as non-compliant system due to the suspension of BitLocker.

• Question: Edge of InDesign to DPS

  QUESTION:

  I've created an animation on board with colorful, draw circles on the edge. I placed the .oam in InDesign and added the article to Folio Builder, then previewed. The animation works well but the circles appear as squares. Everything looks okay in a web browser, but viewing in Adobe Content Viewer, circles is now places. Is there a solution next to recreate the circles in photoshop as outlines and Edge implementation?

  In fact, it works fine on the device (ipad). Just a glitch in the Viewer.

  Process:

  Create the image Windows 8 Enterprise on Surface Pro #1

  Sysprep image

  Capture image using DISM

  Deploy the Image for Surface Pro #2

  Once the Surface Pro #2 out of Sysprep the TPM secure status is "the TPM module is ready for use with reduced functionality.

  If I clear the TPM, the Surface will reboot and push me with an American Megatrends BIOS/UEFI "TPM Page" page.

  Text on the Page:

  "A configuration change has been asked to turn them on, activate, delete, activate and enable the TPM module

  This action erases and turn on TPM (Trusted Platform Module) computer

'Sleep' is not available and I can not turn off the screen by pressing the power button / stop on the right side of the tablet. I did a few tests using the powercfg command-line tool and I found, the driver mobile (or hardware) prevents the past in standby mode: if I disable the driver, I can put my device in mode 'sleep' without any problem.

  Hello, I had the same problem and I tried all drivers update possible solution (reformatting my Tablet 6 times), the update of windows files, etc... Nothing helps. In the end, I found a similar problem for a Dell location 11 Pro user who suggests to turn off the TPM and Bitlocker. As soon as I disabled it Win8 table bitlocker and TPM/Bitlocker from the Bios (Secure boot - disabled), the Tablet began to wake from sleep with no problems... it's been 1 week now and it has not failed once (it allows to get a black 3 - 4 times per day before the change of the screen).

  I recently bought a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E540, with Windows 7 installed. I am trying to use the camera with Skype, but I can't save any picture.   The issue apparently resolved itself. I think I had tried to remove a part of the software pre-installed Lenovo computer, and which had caused the driver of camera integrated to remove properly. After all these configurations and then running by restarting my computer, Windows has installed the generic device drivers and now everything works fine.

• Cannot remove the bitlocker encryption

  I added a password for bitlocker on an external hard drive usb, now I want to remove this password, so I click on the drive, select "Manage Bitlocker", then click on 'Remove the password of this player' and get a message "this password is the only way to unlock this drive.  Add another method to unlock before removing the password".   do a google search for this phrase bugs me only 6 hits, with bing only 3.  most are not English, but it seems that not many people have this problem, what is special about my situation?  7 Vista Ultimate, computer laptop Dell M1530, no TPM, bitlocker no chip anywhere else, I decided to try for the first time on an external drive.  I can still copy on my 50 GB of files and reformat the hard disk, but it has got to be a way to remove it.

  solved by going into Control Panel and was able to remove the encryption here.  That is not very well planned, I enabled Bitlocker in a context menu in Explorer, I should be able to turn off in the same way, do not receive these strange error messages.

  But in the new thinkpad notebook is not this app - so my question is there is a modern equivalent for this application for windows 8.1 (64-bit) Please?
