Tracert problem... Incredible

Sorry to be so stupid, but I really began to doubt not in my skills.

I have a PIX 515e with OS 7.0 (1), I have an internal machine that is statically from a public IP address by using a static command. very simple question, how can trace route of this machine to any host. I have reached the point to open all IP in and out traffic and I still have some timouts. When you run a "debug icmp trace' I can see the messages of type IMCP 11 moving in and out, but somehow they are stopped at the interface of the PIX...

It really makes me through the wall, and I can do... I think I'm losing my conceptual thinking skills.

And what bothring me, it is more the result of trace:

Not sure if this is relevant in your case, but recently I rip my hair on traceroute using PIX v7. Boredom, it's that I have upgraded our internal Office PIX 6.3 (4) to v7.0 (1) and had not seen this question, until I did a client Setup... The issue is to do with the control rules by default that are applied at startup.

With a default configuration, PIX v7 does not have to "inspect icmp error. If this option is enabled, you will find that traceroute and then works perfectly. See the example below:

IIRC, you must always allow rehired through your external ACL icmp traffic.

In my office, I had used the ASDM GUI to enable all the options available inspection, but when you perform the installation of the client, I had started default rules and so my problem with traceroute.

    Thanks for your reply but I've solved the upgrade Viata HP to W7 HP Viata in Spanish. Took a lot of effort but is workig now. My major concern is on the regional setting: my country is Venezuela and this is probably the only country that is missing from the long long list so I now have problems in the keyboard language and the motto puntuation. This has nothing to do with the Home Premium edition or full, I think it's just an incredible mistake. How can this be repaired? MS will have remedies this problem and probably to publish an update to fix this problem. Thank you again and hope that this question goes to MS. looks.

  • Problems with CDM - Tracert displaying a line and connection with FTP problems

    I am currently in a class of networking and server, so am pretty new to this.  I'm running a virtual PC with Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and a few problems with my command prompt.  When I use the tracert command, any URL that I use, it returns only a single line.  It also does not matter whether I run it as administrator.  Here is an example of what it returns:

    I also have problems to connect to a server by using FTP.  The mission was to connect to the FTP server of NASA and practice to transfer images on.  I am able to connect, but as soon as I use the 'ls' command that I am, it will expire or say "connection closed by remote host". I encountered this same problem on my PC at home on a regular basis as well.  I used a computer friend, followed the exact same steps and it worked very well on his own. Here's what I saw:

  • Incredible problems to get the new workgroup C8180 All-in-one

    I bought a C8180 All-in-one printer to the end of September. When I plugged in and installed the software, everything seemed to function OK (I didn't test printing from the computer at the time), but after a short period of time to print Microsoft Word and Wordpad failed, started working and then failing again every time I reinstalled the software to try to solve the problem. Then began a long series of emails with HP technical support. In the next two weeks I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software 6 or 7 times in several different ways, under the instruction of HP. But he never could get Word and Wordpad works correctly. Finally, once again, under order of HP, he worked with a fake installation of HP Deskjet 990c printer.     Finally, I called customer service to the local office of HP. (At least you can get to them without having to listen to the music for half an hour for the price of 5 p / minute.) They said that they would ensure someone would contact me and would monitor the call to ensure that happened. A week later I ' d has received no call, and I went to the local customer service. Has been raised to the top level of management, and finally, after a few reminders more than me, they managed to get a senior technician, called Natheem, in their technical service Cap to call me.

    I'm also rather fed up of the assistance provided by HP. When you get through them they always try to help, but pass through, especially for someone who knows your case is more frustrating (and costs). In an attempt to get the thing, I also had to downgrade my computer Windows XP service pack 2 OS and my internet explore to IE6. I spent probably 50-60 + hours of the last two months, trying to get the thing work.

    Any advice on what to do next would be welcome.

    Well, my story has a happy ending. I stopped trying to untangle the printer after a whole month of working hours, including a lot of phone calls to the SA and responidng to dozens of emails. But then I bought my wife a laptop Toshiba for Christmas - and it worked perfectly first time. In any case, my computer was in a bit of a mess especially when the messing around I had done on this to HP support, so I decided to reload my operating system (after reformatting hard disk), I just finished. And guess what the C8180 works perfectly (at least until now anyway)! I just updated my OS to SP2 (according to HP support the C8180 has problems with SP3), and I kept my Internet Explorer version 6 (higher versions - 7 I think - again can cause problems according to HP support). I somehow use Firefox. But now its work, its quite an impressive machine.

    I want to say individual personnel in support of HP thin is always very friendly and helpful. It's just a phone, it costs and often listen to music for a long time, its very difficult to get hold of the same person again, if you spend hours to repeat the details of your problem, and despite vehement promises they call you rarely back - probably because they are too busy. His support system which is very poor, not the support staff.

    RunMeter does, but today also let me down to halfway a descent, as the application on the watch disappears, after working fine the first 10 k.

    I wonder if others have similar bad experiences, if this is related to Apple to have changed things for software developers can't keep reliable communication in course of execution, or if I'm alone, which would indicate a possible hardware failure?

    It is always better to stay with the original OS in any older OEM computer.  The components are based on proprietary technology.  I wasn't a fan of Vista, but the computer was designed to work with it.  You already found how it is difficult to find older drivers for the components.  In some cases, it is impossible.  You can simply enjoy your Machine of dream so much more when you are able to afford.  I know, I was in your situation at a given time, and when I finally got my dream machine, it was incredible.

  • iOS 9.2.1 wifi problems (iPhone 5)

    still using my iPhone 5 as my main but lately known problems of major wifi phone: she just will not connect to my wifi unless I force to (the wifi menu to minutes until he shoes he has connected to wifi).     Finally a new BIOS has appeared on the support site, I downloaded it looking forward with impatience to unlock this core I was missing, I installed it and the system has restarted after you start Windows 7 installed some additional elements of INF files and I found that I had a couple of additional entries in the BIOS.

    After that my system has been repaired I had some more memory added to it by Toshiba technology, it also made me a working set of rescue and recovery disks that I was crazy, he did a beautiful job on the machine and it was back to looking brand new, into the new smell of tech.

    I had a lot of trouble with my laptop recently; When using just the battery I can watch it unloads and a minute, he can read about 30% or more, depending on the laptop will be beep like crazy and then go into hibernation.     Hi Colin,

    You don't say how old is your battery, but it is more likely to be a hardware problem with your battery rather than a problem with the Toshiba power utility.

    It seems that if one or more of the cells in your battery cannot hold its charge properly, and once the remaining cells the battery power exhaustion will fall suddenly.

  • Satellite 2430 DVD drive problem

    My Satellite 2430 has had a strange DVD problem and may not know what is all about. All started when I tried to make a full recovery. The unit was not able to boot from the DVD. I checked the DVD player with different bootable disk, but still nothing. Unit won't boot from DVD drive even if you press F12 and peripheral DVD selected. Not to mention that the recovery DVDs is loaded normally in my desktop pc. Notepad starts Windows OK the HARD disk and, which is incredible, is that, inside Windows, everything is OK. The DVD player works like a dream. However, it is not enough to perform a full restore, as the recovery process cannot be initialized by Windows. A leap that the BIOS is at the origin of the problem, I've upgraded to version 1.6, but there is no change in the behavior of the DVD.
    Any thoughts, before using a big-big hammer?

    Have you tried to change the boot priority in the BIOS?
    If this isn't the case, then first change the startup procedure to the CD player. The local network must be on the end.

    Situation: my T430s keeps giving me a safe to delete the 'Compatible Microsoft ACPI Control method battery' message (safe to remove the battery) despite my no Files this behavior knowingly. In addition, strangely / in this connection, my Lenovo Power Manager shows a second battery being connected - there is only one. The battery is showing that "second battery: Condition ' mistake".

    Real battery is charged / wedges cool / works normally. Computer always gives me this error when it is connected to current alternative without battery in the system.

    I'm running two software programs that manage / handle power: magician of Samsung (for my Samsung SSD) and Lenovo Power Manager.

    I am convinced that this false message 'second battery' is the key to the problem. I have contacted Lenovo support and I'm under warranty and they sent me some recovery disks (should be here soon) to try and isolate the potential problem of the software, but I think that it is hardware, because I've been running this setup since I got my laptop with zero problems. If the software reset does not solve (reset), then they will send a technician to replace the motherboard. Messages appear to be related to the movement of the computer and parts... but I'm just confused.

    Does anyone else have this problem before? Would love to insight.
