  Simply turn off Acrobat DC from the system on which it is installed, then download & install on the users system another.

  You will get the option to disable it in the Help menu of Acrobat DC.

  You can transfer files on Mac as normal files. But the application may not be transferred.

  You have to buy the latest version. If you purchase the subscription, you can get that for both platforms.

  Usually uninstall you on the system (after deactivation) and then install it on the other system (and activate). Should you save your download (it seems that it is what you were doing) on a CD or another device of backup for the future. Just use this media on the new system.
