  I currently subscribe to a monthly package for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC through the cloud of Adobe creative.  I downloaded Lightroom, Photoshop and Bridge on my Mac and all is well.

  Sir, I just uninstalled the program and installed it again and my version of lightroom just changed to 2015.5.1 but others still facing this problem and I personally think that this is not a good way to solve this problem, nobody don't want to redownload the entire program for this.   Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

  
  

  Open and check if it works fine, then go back to Device Manager and activate the graphic processor.

  I'm not an apple person.  I read on a few different forums that apple has changed what is called 'writing' in a recent update to apple.  You may need to find an Apple expert to show you how to make sure you are allowed to write to files or locations on your computer.
