transfer of photos/Tablet for macbook 10.11.6

I have successfully transferred all my photos of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A to my Macbook via Android File Transfer. Problem is precisely that only the Tablet photos and NOT the 'albums' (with all their dates/places mentioned in which a lot of pictures have been confined) were transferred. The photos were taken from the "camera" option and all uploaded photos now appear under the name file title 'camera' on my Macbook desktop. How can I transfer all the photos of the tablet that includes photos in 'album 'I hope I have clarified my question so that the problem is clear?  Thank you!

You should have the best results by using migration to Apple app.

I have a HP 6510, which worked perfectly with my old PC.  Yesterday I got a MacBook Pro OS X 10.7 Lion.  The printer is installed properly.  It prints.  It scans a document.   It does not analyze the pictures.  The result is an empty file, even if the HP it scans, says that it is finished and put it in the directory images on the MacBook.  There isn't any image

    Hello
The default analysis workflows configured to scan 6 x 4 photo.

Change the scanning settings to not crop the scanned area as follows, and are looking for any change, I think that this can cause the due blank image cropping:

If you use Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), make sure to install the critical update below, otherwise skip to the next step:
    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL41827/MP-101648-1/HP_Scan_for_Mac_OS_X_10.7_Update.dmg

Now change the settings as follows:
1 open the HP utility and select your device.
    2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
    3. click on the tab "scan tasks.
    4. Select the shortcut Scan allows to analyze, and then click on edit.
    5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle to expand the menu.
    6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop down next to cultures in and set as none.
    7. click OK and try to scan the image.

  • Transfer pictures Z5 Compact for Macbook

Bridge for Mac successfully. Connection successful transfer photos. Small window shows photos, photo to Mac transfer. After completion Photos opens, but nothing is there. If I select the folder of images on photo to Mac transfer. Someone got experience with this please?

If you want to count only on the wireless (which is what I prefer generally) you can use "ARE leaders explore."

    I usually do this:

    (1) album open;

    (2) choose the images that I need;

    3) chose part-> save as with the file Explorer.

    4) save on some NAS (computer, mac or router file server);

    (5) pick them with the Mac finder, and then drag in Photos.

It seems a little messy, but it is not really and also save you plug/unplug the usb cable: I'm usually paranoid about usb ports on my mac. If they break, they are expensive to repair.

A Time Capsule is a mute like a hard disk of Board inside a router... It is designed for a single task only... for time machine backup target.

However, there is no extension of media either.

It cannot be used for photos or iphoto without causing problems... It is now and for always the silent hard disk.

Apple created photos and photostream around iCloud. All extensions are there... They could have done the TC also work for the photos, but they prefer to sell space you on iCloud.

An issue as shown here is how you access the TC on the network.

At the very least, you use a DMG file as a virtual drive so that you can support HFS +... and you shouldn't force the connection to the AFP... Although El Capo who even would not be possible. It removes also hope to share files on the network... other that each device can open the DMG one at time in turn.

  • Transfer of files RAW of MacBook Air

I recently acquired a MacBook Air and am still getting used to him and iOS. I transferred a large number of RAW files from my camera to the laptop. Now, I want to move to any external drive to free storage. I am able to open and view these files RAW using Photos and also using DPP4 (canon photo editing) for RAW files are certainly somewhere hidden in my laptop. If I try to transfer those files from the library anywhere, they convert in JPEGs.There must surely be a way to transfer RAW files without any conversion. Suggestions, please?

Select them, and then export the original unmodified

But that does not reduce storage needs - do you want to delete the photos - it is not possible to remove only the original RAW

  • How can I move music and photos from my MacBook on an external hard drive, files without deleting the existing NTFS files stored on it?

    Hello.

I am aware that this issue (or different versions of it) will be requested a thousand times before, but after searching on the internet for a solution, I have been unable to find all the information that brings a simple clear answer that is specific to my problem and so thought I would ask the question myself.

I recently bought a Toshiba 1 TB external hard drive to transfer music, photo files and internal document in front of the memory of my old PC running Windows, as well as files, music and photos from my existing MacBook Pro, so I can "release" the memory on the latter.

Transfer files from the old PC proved to be easy; success achieved by simple drag / drop the files to the appropriate location on the external HD icon of Toshiba which appears once I connected to a USB port. It is perhaps worth mentioning that the area of States hard drive has been formatted NTFS for Windows, and so I guess that I would not have expected any problems when transferred to a PC.

Move the files from my MacBook has however proved anything but simple and trying to drag the respective music and photo files and drop them on the HD Toshiba icon (which appears on my desktop once it is plugged), I seem to be affected by the same issues as so much seems to have it before me, in that "forbidden access" / error symbol appears with the cursor , and bounce the files to their original location whenever I try to place them on the Toshiba HD.

I understand that this is due to the HD is formatted in NTFS, and that I would need to reformat the hard drive to move files from my MacBook, which brings me to my questions:-

    (a) how do I do this, and

    (b) can I do this without losing, damage or remove the NTFS files from my old PC, which are already stored on the external hard drive.

If one is able to offer any assistance, in the most simple, easy to follow the description, I would be really grateful!

Never been so thanks in advance!

1 install software such as Paragon NTFS on the Mac and let the reader in its current form or from the Finder, choose utilities go to menu, open disk utility and reformat.

    2. that by putting a copy on another drive. You should do this anyway, in case of failure of this drive.

  • Photo upload for web site... where are my albums?

    Here's my situation:

I am on several forums online and often need to upload a photo or two.  I click on the "upload photo" icon within the web site and then select something like a 'Browse folders' menu  On my computer, I can then go down to 'media' and select 'photos '.  I will choose 'albums' and then see all the photos I have in my load "all photos".  I can choose any photo for download, but that its very tedious because of the number of photos that I have.  Nowhere can I see any of the individual albums that I put in place.  Thus, for example, say that I created an album called 'Holiday 2016' and want to choose a photo in the album.  I don't see any way to select this album, because I can not find any screen showing albums I created.  I can't go on 'Memories', 'Years', etc., but not album that I created and moved the pictures to.

Is there a way I can get to my own albums of the Media/Photo option that is used to transfer the photos to a web site?  This was very frustrating so far.

they need to see the (they do on my system OS X 10.11.4 and Photos 1.5) - restart and try again

You don't have to click on the triangle to the left of the word albums

  • Transfer of photos of Android to HP PC laptop

I have the version more ancient of the Android Smart Phone - a Samsung Galaxy s I want to transfer about 1400 photos off of it on my laptop HP Pavilion Entertainment PC.  It is not as easy from an IPhone.  I drove out of an IPhone for a friend once and he had guests when I plugged the IPhone to PC - very easy.  This is not the case with my Smartphone (Seems it's not so smart!)  So, can someone tell me the best way to transfer photos to the smartphone Android too liked my PC?

I'm also about 80 memos in the Memo section on the android smartphone. They are very important and I don't want to lose them.  Is there an easy way to transfer them to the smart phone to my documents files in my PC?

It is possible more easily if I just get a new phone and transfer the photos and memos for the new phone first?  If this could be true I would need some help with that also!

    Thank you!

Looks like you're there at halfway. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the old model of phone, and it seems to be different than the most recent models.

But, since you're going for cellular consumption, have clients walk in centres that you can take the old phone to and they can transfer your files on all new smart phone (possible any other telephone company).

They can also support your original Samsung phone if you want to continue to use it with a new SIM card.

If you are in the USA, here is the link to their store locator. 888-345-5509.

Find phones cell phones consumer in a store near you

Otherwise, you are more likey going to find more specific assistance for the transfer of files from a PC on the AT & T forum.

I don't know that these old phones should have the info you want to put on the SD card first, then you can transfer these files to the PC when connected via the USB cord.

Sorry I can't be more help on this topic.

Yes, you can use iCloud to host your photos.

Yes. Indeed if you use iCloud photo library and delete a picture of the Photos app on your Mac, it will be also deleted icloud.

If you open the preferences of Photos and click on iCloud at the top of the preferences window and turn on iCloud photo library and also select the 'download for the Mac originals"rather than the"Optimize Mac Storage"option, the original size will be kept on your Mac.

  • How can I transfer my photos to an external HD mediathek?

How can I transfer my photos to an external HD mediathek?

I m using an iMAC with OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan and Fotos 1.2 9.1.

    Hi NordundSued,

If you want to store your photo library on an external drive, the process is as simple as (after checking that the photo is not open) copy the existing photo library on the external hard drive, and then at the opening of the Photos with the option key and choosing this library. Once you have verified that the library works correctly from the external hard drive, you can go ahead and delete the original if you want to free up space.

By default, your system library is stored in the folder of images on your Mac, but you can move it to another location on your Mac, or store it on an external storage device. To use iCloud services, however, the external storage device must be formatted using the format Mac OS extended (journaled), also known as HFS +.

    Switch between any libraries

    1. If photo is open, choose Photos > Photos of quit smoking.

    2. Hold down the Option key and double click on the Photos icon in the Applications folder (or click on the pictures of the Dock icon) to open the pictures.

    3. In the select Library dialog box, do one of the following:

      • Click the library that you want to use, then click on choose a library.

      • If the library you want does not appear in the select Library dialog box, click other library, navigate to the location of the library, select it, then click on choose a library.

Designate a library as the library of the system

You can switch to another library and designate as the photo library of the system. For more information on the considerations to keep in mind when it designates another picture of system library, see Overview of the system of the library.

To designate the current library as the library of the system:

Choose Photos > Preferences, click general, and then click on use as Photo library system.

Important: If you switch to another library, Photos automatically turns off all iCloud services. To use iCloud photo library, iCloud, sharing photos and my photo stream with a library of pictures newly designated system, you must activate them again in the Photos of iCloud preferences pane. When you turn on iCloud library after designation of a new library system, photos stored in iCloud are merged with those of the Photo library new system. Once the new Photo system library content is downloaded to iCloud, libraries cannot be split, so it's a good idea to look carefully before modifying your library system.
