Transfer of stuff email from windows mail to outlook express

Is there a way to get windows mail to export the email info IE PST file, so I can forward the e-mail to another computer running XP with outlook express

Windows Mail or Outlook Express uses pst files. Only use MS Outlook. A simple way to do what you want it to.

Create a folder on the Vista desktop. Drag a WinMail folder messages in this folder. Copy it to the desktop of the XP machine and drag messages from the desktop folder to a folder in OE. Make as many records as needed. Bruce Hagen MS - MVP [Mail]

    The following versions of Microsoft Outlook are fully supported on Windows 7;

    • Outlook 2003
    • Outlook 2007
    • Outlook 2010 (when it came out)

It is recommended to always update your version of Outlook directly after installation to take care of any question of incompatibility which have been corrected.

    Previous versions

  • Export of email from Windows Mail to Outlook 2003

Can I export e-mails from Windows Vista Mail to Outlook 2003

    1. the process requires Outlook and Windows Mail being installed and functional on the machine do the transfer.

    2. to move the e-mail messages, export to Microsoft Outlook (or Exchange) of in Windows Mail.  This places the e-mail messages in the Outlook Personal Folders file that is attached to the default Outlook profile.  When you then open Outlook, your messages will be already there, no need to import.  Export emails from OE/Windows Mail still works better than import with Outlook.

    3. to move Contacts, export them Windows Mail for one. CSV (Comma Separated Values) file and import the given in Outllook.

  • How can I transfer my stuff from Windows Mail to outlook?

    Hi people,

I have just upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate on Vista Ultimate.  I know that Windows 7 does not support Windows Mail, so I need to switch to Outlook or Windows Live Mail.  I can't get Windows Live Mail with Yahoo (and Yahoo can help people).  On the other hand Outlook does not support the focus groups.

I want to spend my email from Windows Mail in Outlook.  I can't find Windows Mail.  Any suggestions, tips ect. would be most appreciated. Shane

    Hi Shane,

Thanks for posting. Windows Mail is no longer included in Windows 7. Now, Windows Live Mail is the customer, you can use Microsoft to your e-mail. You can install Windows Live Mail from the link below.

  • Emails from Windows Mail (only those!) incorrect impression

It is on behalf of my mother, who I'm helping remote...

She just bought and installed an HP Officejet 6500 Wireless all-in-one all in one printer to use with his laptop, running Windows Vista. Apparently everything is going well, except that she is unable to print correctly, emails from Windows Mail.   What emerges from the printer is about the left third of the email, printed on the right third of the paper.  It's so weird, I downloaded an analysis of the example of it at:http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/3729/emailscan.jpg

I have consulted the laptop remotely and checked everything obvious like size settings - not that I see a lot of alter, paper, but does not include what could be wrong.  It's only the emails that are affected, and there are two weeks that they were very good impression on his printer previous (one another, but very old, Officejet).

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you

Windows Mail uses the same as Internet Explorer print engine. It seems that the left margin is way.

In IE: File | Page layout. Default is 0.75, (19mm), all around.

  • Import e-mail messages from Windows mail to outlook 2007

I damaged an old laptop and the hard drive is now in a case that I can access via USB.

I want to transfer my emails from WIndows Mail in the old hard drive to Outlook 2007 into my laptop current. How to do this please?

    Hi Tony,.

You can always open Windows mail? In this case: the open, select the e-mail messages you want to copy, create a folder on a USB or other portable device, paste messages, transport the unit, open, select all the messages and copy it (ctrl + c), then paste in Outlook.

The official way would be: file, import and Export Wizard. But I'm sure you will all future posts.

  • Cannot open JPG attachments in Windows mail and outlook express

Original title: I am running XP and windows 7.  On topic dec 15 times windows '7' mail and outlook 'XP' Explorer both started allowing not parts attached JPG to come or let them out.  Any help please? Dewey

Whenever I get messages with windows mail or outlook express, all attachments of JPG will not come through.  I can change the security setting to allow dangerous files and they will come through.  I don't know what happened to two computers at the same time.  I had not changed all the parameter before it began.

    Deweyh

OE can not block the attachments to be sent.  You set antivirus software to analyze mail?  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

    You get an error message?

    Hello again,

The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. "Account: 'mail.btinternet.com', server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800CCC0F ' I have no known problem of the server or the network and use the laptop on a regular basis

I moved your post on the Microsoft Answers forum when it was off-topic on the forum 'Making in network and get online' Windows XP where Outlook Express issues belong.

Contained in the error message POP settings seem to be correct according to !-mail-settings-for-outgoing-and-incoming-mail-servers%3F http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6876/~/what-are-the-bt-yahoo, but they are unusual for Yahoo, they do specify encrypted connections.  Because you pay BT for the account, I think you should talk to them.  You can also find some general technical troubleshooting here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813514
