I work in the UNITED Arab Emirates. I want to buy a monitor swivel-able and so I went in the stores here in the UNITED Arab Emirates, to ensure the good warranty and after-sales services. However, including online stores, I can't find any. So I began to look through foreign sites such as amazon.com, which offers a nice price even with delivery included.

Now to the question: can I buy the monitor on amazon.com and guarantee its active here in the UAE UNITED?

I've heard of transfer of warranty int ' l, but I ask to make sure that it applies also to the monitors.

Also, if I can transfer the warranty, where and how can I ask in case of defects?

Only products with a Dell service tag number can be transferred. Only 27 "and the largest monitors have a Dell service tag.

    You can transfer the old guarantee of your old phone to your new G25.

    I want to pass on my Dell Inspiron laptop, the new owner asked if I can provide security as well. The laptop is still in the Dell one year standard warranty period.

    After reading the small PDF for the (European) standard warranty and Googling a reasonable amount, I don't see any processes for the transfer of the standard warranty to a new owner. Could someone advise me on the correct processes and procedures to follow for this please?

    I m not 100% sure, but you don t need a transfer of collateral for the new owner.
    As a first step, it is important that cell is recorded by Toshiba and the new owner has original invoice that you give.

    If there is some service issue will verify registration and purchase date. With the original invoice, new owner has good and valid document.
    Just for example: hundreds of laptops eBay change owners every day and no one send some transfer of warranty. It is important that new owner an original invoice with Notepad.

    I bought a Toshiba WT310 from a seller in Italy through ebay on 24/11/2014.

    When I open TEMPRO in the Tablet, this is for me the correct start date (24/11/2014) and end date (24/11/2015) of warranty.

    However, it is said that the 1 year of Service Pick-up & return in Italy.
    While I don't live in Italy. I would like to transfer the warranty service in the Ireland and make it in my name.

    I contacted [email protected] and they told me that their Italian colleagues are able to do that for me.

    However, I can't find where I had to go to the website of Toshiba and e-mail, I should use for this purpose.

    But to my knowledge, the standard warranty is valid only in the country where you bought the device. This means that in case of a hardware problem, you need to contact service in Italy partner.

  • Satellite U305: can't watch video on the external monitor on Vista with Dynadock

    I have a Satellite U305 running Windows Vista, I also bought a VGA Dynadock with HP 20 "external monitor.

    I have uppdated all Dynadock readers (Audio, video, etc.) to the latest version, but DVD-video or MPEG video recorded with my camera is not possible to look at the monitor extended that in the main screen (laptop computer monitor).

    For example, my DVD Toshiba drive works normally on the laptop monitor but when I transfer window extended monitor, Toshiba DVD Player stops to work.
    Video does not work on the extended screen.

    Is this OK or I did something wrong configuration? Is this a bug? If this is a bug, how to fix this bug?

    I'm you worry because I plug a large external monitor to watch a few movies that I can't watch it.

    I agree with the snipe of the user. The dynadock is simply not designed to transfer the enormous amount of data that accumulate to watch movies on DVD.
    The USB ports are simply not designed for this

    I think you will need to contact Toshiba to move the warranty to the other person who bought this laptop.

    Good so I bought an alpha alienware on ebay. It worked fine until just now. I contacted the support to try to get it fixed. Was told I need a warranty transfer of the former owner to myself. Its still in warranty for 35 days more Dell... I contacted the chat and they said that they transferred to my name tag. So I called support since the tag was supposdely in my name now. Low and this is right before they were going to order a new motherboard for it. The support agent (phone) said that the mandate was not yet in my name as I was told before, and it cannot do unless its in my name. So yes im confused now.

    Yet once, at the start I tried to do online transfer of warranty even if everything I know about the person that I bought is the two bills that I got on ebay and paypal to purchase which was a few months ago (I bought it originally used). I just put this info in but still no answer... I sent the seller and still no response.

    The funny is that the guy that I spoke on the live chat it's everything in my name now. Yet when I called by phone, the Lady said that it was not let him apply for the permuted motherboard. and that he (the previous owner warranty) was especially "in white. Yet when I tried to register, it says its already registered... and won't let me put my info.  IDK im so confused. I want to just my machine to have a new motherboard (questions, it's complicated freezing) :( If anyone out there at dell can help me... Whenever I try to send I NEVER get an answer... ugghh. I have my file number if that helps. I have my tag number, tag express, heelp etc... Please before my warranty runs out...
