Transformation Runtime DB 11g BAR file to OBI 12 c import error

Hello

I installed OBI 12 on Linux and Installation with SampleAppLite was properly executed.

However, whenever I tried to import the file from an existing 11g OBI Server toolbar, I get the same error in the config.sh tool:

[2016 02-09 T 15: 11:26.420 + 02:00] [bi] [ERROR] [] [oracle.bi.migration.RPDTransformPlugin] [tid: 112] [ecid: 0000LB6A6ea5Me3pzk8DyW1MiSYR000007, 0] transformation Runtime DB failed

[2016 02-09 T 15: 11:26.466 + 02:00] [bi] [NOTIFICATION] [] [oracle.bi.migration.catalog] [tid: 112] [ecid: 0000LB6A6ea5Me3pzk8DyW1MiSYR000007, 0] Transformation of the RPD plugin was released with result: false

I have here a way be upgraded separately from the RPD?

My current version of 11g that I export is:

Build: 11.1.1.7.1.BISERVER_11.1.1.7.0BIBP_LINUX. X64_150103.1212

Final version: Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.7.1

Package: 150103.1256.000

Thank you

Yosef

He solved.

Solved by adding the password of the RPD, when choosing the import file. Oops ;-)

  • I can't find the .bar file

    Hello

I developed an application in eclipse blackberry native indigo with Blackberry Java SDK version 7.1.0. I tested Simulator, everthing is ok but when I look at my workspace, could ' t find .bar file. There are .cod, .cad, .jar files vs but .bar file is not. Where can I find the .bar file or what I need to do to generate the operations .bar file?

    Thank you...

You must move to the right forum:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Android-runtime-development/BD-p/ADT

That said, your question about the deployment of applications is interesting and applies to others who might convert Java apps BB10. So this may be interesting information for other readers on this forum...  However it can be as bad, so read with caution.

My understanding is that the only method of deploying software to BB10 apps to devices, apart from the side loading in the design environment, via App World, now Blackberry World.  BB extend it to support Business Applications - and company administrators can choose the world BB Enterprise applications and target these to their managed devices.

If the concept of pushing to the server has disappeared.  As has the notion of downloading applications to a web site or side loading using the Desktop Manager.

It's worse for Android applications.  Android applications will be refused for enterprise BlackBerry World, because the side job of the balance does NOT include the Android runtime.  It is only supported in the personal plan.

So if you plan on writing a business application, you will have to develop into one of the other supported platforms, such as HTML5, waterfalls or WebWorks.  Not Android.

And even if you do this, you will need to set up the app World de BlackBerry Enterprise and of course your client company must run BES 10.

I personally have not had to fight this battle, so it's just my understanding.  But I'm developing a company BB10 application so will face this situation myself in the next few months.  Then I will know for sure!

  • How to install a .bar file hosted in a remote server on device BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha

I port an Android application for BlackBerry using Android Runtime. I can install this application successfully using Eclipse. Now, I want to only those files (MyApp.bar) in a remote server deployment and download the .bar using a file browser and install it to another device BlackBerry Dev Alpha 10. I was able to download but cannot install the .bar file. What should I do?

In fact This is the kind of method I get. Google Chrome Extention (PlayBook App Manager) did the job perfectly.

  • Code can be extracted from the .bar file

    Hi all

I'm a little uncertain on what I understand the .cod files seem to protect your code from others seeing, but if someone has a playbook application .bar file, can they get the code it?

Thanks in advance for this compensation for me.

Easily, if you mean, by 'code', the code compiled. Get the original source is not possible, but getting something closely resembling the original source is pretty easy using "decompilers' commercial.

The .bar himself file is just a .zip file. Extract using a standard zip tool (or rename to have a .zip extension, if that's your only way to do this) and you will see what is in it. The .swf was ActionScript3 bytecode, which is actually the "machine language" for the virtual machine AVM2 which contains the Flash 10 runtime to run your program.

  • Noob question: autonomous AIR .bar files?

Sorry for the noob question, yet to learn these things from the air. When we create a .bar file, it is the only file position, does it include the runtime air, flash, etc, etc, or is it always require an accumulation of air / flash runtimes on the device? THX.

The .bar file does not include the time of execution because the runtime is already preinstalled on the Playbook.

Air is really integrated into the PlayBook so you don see the difference between a native app or an Air application.

  • Simulation of executable UNIT (BAR file) in BB 10.3 SDK Simulator game

    Hello

We have developed a game using UNITY. We had tested locally for Passport screen screen resolution in the tool of the SDK of the UNIT. We have not tested the device current passport.

We face after publication on our game reported by BB world tream,

"In passport BB device, the application permissions page appears in the wrong way."

We want to simulate the game executable (BAR file) on BB 10.3 SDK Simulator to address this problem.

Please help us how to simulate the game executable based UNIT (BAR file) on 10.3 SDK Simulator.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Prabhakar

    Hello

Sohm M thanks for your response.

We had solved problem misdirection of the permissions page of the application in the device of passport in one of the following ways.

    1. we had defined portrait orientation in settings of player UNITY and generated a BAR file for Passport devices.

    2. we defined the landscape orientation and another BAR remaining in the generated file.

    3. we had all two BAR files downloaded and selected devices accordingly.

Our game has finally got approved.

  • Unable to connect BAR file "error: Code signing request failed because it cannot be recorded.»

    Hello

I'm trying to sign the BAR file generated from the apk files, but I got this error:

Error: Code signing request has failed because it cannot be recorded. Package-Version-Id [gYACgLU-GLg8YtNMuWU17-BoxsM], [gYAEgM4XsG9ppojbj3zOO9gg-Nc], Id [2189468] Client Application-Version-Id.

I tried to redownlowd the file CSK again and again, did a lot of things but not luck.

Thank you for sending via manifest file.  The error is caused by the name of the application you are using.  There is a limitation of the number of characters that can be used for an application name.  The number of characters will vary according to the type of encoding used, in this case it would be 7.

The workaround for this solution, use our tool is to define an application name by default using Latin based on characters and then add names localized for each supported language.  These localized names do not have this limit.  For comparison, here's how it's done using BlackBerry Momentics: How to define an Application as the characters name Unicode requires the default name would only be used if a localized name is not available for the language of the user.

Android also supports localized names of applications, so the similar process should work there too.

  • Edit .bar file

Hi, I created a file of an apk file bar using the tools of the web. Now, how can I open the file with flash builder bar to change the code and to change the playbook application to be better than now?

You cannot change a bar file in this way.  Flash Builder is used to create AIR applications, applications not Android.

You can use the Android developer tools to modify the application.  Add the BlackBerry plug-in ADT to your environment, and you can create, test, and debug from the IDE without having to go through the web form.

  • Problem with the application after the installation of the .bar file

    Hello

I created an application. Everything works fine when I compile Momentics, but when I create a file via the 'Export release build'.bar and install this file on the device app does not work properly.

The application creates a profiles and showing them in the list view, all the data in the json file. When I install the application of the .bar file create profile and change the settings for this profile and return to the main screen, profiles disappear. This problem will not occur when you compile a program on the phone directly from Momentics.

    Welcome on the support forums.

you reproduce the workflow step by step with a debug version?
do you have any record that can give you advice? If not, add a little.
where is the location json file that you use to save the data? Perhaps a relative path is used.

  • Installation of the .bar file

Now how this .bar file can be installed in othe playbooks without using the command... prompt? I don't want to post this request in BB wolrd... Any help will be appreciated

If users are on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the application can be distributed but it.

Other methods of distribution are the two you mentioned.

  • Building the bar file Hello World

Hi, I have the ripple to package the files app for me, I get the message that the build was successful, but no .bar file does not appear in the specified output folder, just zip archive. Any ideas please?

The error itself seems to be coming from a problem of JAVA virtual machine and tools require the latest version of JDK6 (32 bit). The format should not be a problem because you are on a 32-bit system, so the best recommendation I can do at this stage is to download the latest JDK6 (i.e. Java SE 6 Update 38):

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/Java/javase/downloads/index.html

You also need to either uninstall the existing JDK1.7 / JRE7 files, or you could also temporarily rename/move them to another folder to avoid any conflict.

I think that should address the issue, but if it is not the case, I recommend also trying with the UAC turned down as it has been known to cause problems.

  • Package ID is required for all .bar file.

    Hello

    The error I got is

Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, Package ID must match Package ID in original file bundle.

I know that if this error occurs I sign with the wrong keys. I have 2 signature keys, but have backed them up. I chose the file correct author.p12 but it seems that the CSK (Code signing key) is wrong. He always takes the CSK of my other file author.p12 or something. How can I install the correct CSK in QNX Momentics... I'm really desperate...

I managed to get my key to signature (barsigner.csk and barsigner.db) with Recuva! So if you lost your key, download software and it will get them in 20 minutes.

  • Run the .bar file in Blackberry z10

    I have a file .bar with me... .can someone tell me how to handle this Simulator;

I want also the format in which I sent this .bar file to my client... then he can run

    directly into the BlackBerry z10.

Please help me in this... its urgent

You cannot just copy the bar of the file on the device and execute it it must be installed in a way.

For a customer who you want to give the file bar so that they will have to sideload by using some 3rd third-party tool such as DDPB, Sideloading BB10 or extension chrome for example.

How to do this is well explained here...

  • The .bar file reading HTML files

    Hello

I would like to integrate a user documentation format .html (embedded next to my icons and images in the .bar file) with my application and use QNXStageWebView to view it.  My name is "docs.html" should I spend in the webView.loadURL (); command to get to my account?

Oh, and how should I dispose of the Viewer when the client is done with it and click my button "return"?

    Harry

@jtegen: yes I checked via the service to exist and it exists when you check via the .as file. everything that you put in the src directory is automatically placed in the .bar file. at least it's under flash builder.

@harry: figured it out! OK so my final hypothesis, is that when you load the QNXStageWebView he search files in a way of absolute path. which means that you can't simply use "upploadare" you hafta use the absolute path. so here's the code that should allow you to view your HTML file:

    webView.loadURL(File.applicationDirectory.nativePath + "/docs.html");

and what removal try to use this:

    webView.destroyBrowser();

    Good luck!
