Transmission of 4 K Blackmagic Decklink extreme and mercury

Try to configure CC 2014, but I don't see anything in the list of mercury pass except Adobe DV. I'm missing something here?

You have installed the latest Blackmagic drivers?

If you installed after effects CC 2014 once you have installed the drivers, you may need to reinstall the drivers so that the right files to install.

    Hello

First of all, I'm sorry for my bad English. Portuguese is my mother tongue.

I am definitely changing... FCP7 PrPro CS5. FCPX... Well well... nothing new to say.

I have a MacPro with a BlackMagic Decklink Extreme 3D. (latest drivers for BlackMagic and snow leopard).

With 2 Apple Cinema HD 1920 x 1200 monitors, JVC professional instructor (SDI) and a Vieira Pana 42 "(HDMI).

The problem is... I can't read anything on monitor JVC and Pana Viera.

I chose the BlackMagic option in my preferences of the Player Menu.

I can read almost anything with FCP7.

    Can someone help me?

I'm sorry if I don't have my self clear.

    Thank you

Make sure that you are using a Blackmagic mode, this is the only way to get the video through the editing map. Just start a new sequence and be sure to choose a "Preset" under 'Blackmagic Design'. Presets are exactly that and can be adjusted according to your needs.

  • Blackmagic Decklink codecs appearing is not on the sequence settings

I am one of many failovers of the FCC who is getting used to the use of Premiere Pro.

I use a Mac Pro with Blackmagic Decklink Extreme. When I start a new project, Blackmagic codecs do not appear in the sequence settings but first saw the release of Blackmagic Audio when I check in the preferences. I downloaded the latest Blackmagic drivers and install them, but I still don't see the codecs for surveillance.

Anyone in the same boat or has any ideas?

    Thank you

How Decklink driver version are you using?

I currently use 8.0 and blackmagic presets is displayed correctly.

In 'New sequence'--> parameters--> edition mode checks to see if there is an option "Blackmagic uncompressed.

If this isn't the case, decklink plugins for first are not installed correctly.

Do not forget that decklink drivers MUST be installed after the installation of CS5.5.

    Hope to be useful.

  • Problems with multiple framerates and Blackmagic Decklink 4 K Extreme reading

Recently, I exchanged by AJA Kona card for extreme Blackmagic Decklink 4 K in order to get external followed in DaVinci Resolve.

I work in a 1080 p 23.976 project that includes a 29.97 SD and HD images. Loading these images of 29.97 FPS in my layer source footage, I meet regularly with frozen reading (the triangle of game in my toolbar becomes a symbol of the square and stays that way). From there on, I am unable to playback images in any scenario and requires a complete closure of the system to return to normal! The problem is apparently BOUNCING, with successful reading happening sometimes.

Images of 29.97 was DVCPRO, I tried to transcode to Prores to solve problems. No dice. I think it's a problem related to the inability of the Decklink to manage several rate display on the fly, but wanted to present here, too. I also experienced delays intermittent sync on my monitor.

    Hi Andy,.

You should not have problems with Blackmagic manage several formats on the fly. However, I believe that the problems of reading frozen that your description is related to the Desktop Driver video 10. I suggest rolling back to 9.3.3 for now. Blackmagic now turns on this issue.

  • Problem with Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3D and Premiere Pro CS 5.5.1

    Hello

I'm having a problem with the first and Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3D. When I create a timeline of Blackmagic of any sort and I import a film and start working on it, everything works as expected and are quite fast. I can see the image in the window of my monitor and the output to the external display of JVC is excellent (SDI). If I create another new project and in there I create a regular first screening chronology (in this case to edit Canon 5 d MKII footage) I can also change without problem (and with even better named Update).

The problem appears when I try to have a timeline for Blackmagic and a predefined regular creation timeline in the same project. If I create the chronology of Blackmagic first, I can import and edit, but at the moment I have create a first preselection timeline screen goes black for a second (which always happens btw) and then comes back again. So I can edit the first timeline screening perfectly but the chronology of Blackmagic image stopped appearing in the monitor window. I can play, I can hear and I can see it in the external monitor of JVC. But on the computer screen the only thing I see are images that paint on it and somehow stuck in there get it looks like some sort of overlay problem. After that if I close first he won´t close properly. I have to force it out. If I first create a first timeline preset that works just fine but when I create a timeline of Blackmagic this work won´t (the first timeline works fine)

So, my guess would be that first pass to a certain color depth or space when creating a first screening chronology and for some reason any the Blackmagic card won´t adapt or update so I find myself with no picture and the remains of some images that I place on the monitor window area. I can see the scopes and all waveforms but not the video. Also perhaps monitors and display port adapters have something to do. I'll change soon so monitors would be nice to know if it's part of the problem.

Any idea? Waiting to hear from Blackmagic too.

    My specs:

I had a similar problem with a Matrox card.  The solution was to turn on the composition of the bureau.  It is under properties - TAB, show - system on the 4th in the advanced settings list.  Some programs (for example AVID) insist on this being extinguished, but with CS5.5 I needed active.  I have not tested this with dark magic devices.  It don't has not caused me a problem with CS5,

  • No video signal Blackmagic Decklink and first Pro CC

    Hello

I need assistance with first Pro CC and BM Decklink.

I'm not able to get an output signal (external monitor, SDI and Composite) first Pro cc.

Audio output works on SDI monitor.

First off, it works very well with after effects CC and Blackmagic Software, so I'm pretty I'm missing something with the CEP settings.

I use a Blackmagic Decklink HD extreme (9.7.7) and the latest version of CEP.

Playback options are defined for playback Blackmagic (only), the sequence options are decompressed Blackmagic, 25 fps. video preview is Blackmagic AVI, Codec: uncompressed RGB 10bits.

If someone could help me with this, would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

What resolution is the calendar?  I had to happen if, for example, I have a chronology of 25 p 1920 and my monitor does not actually support P. 25

In After Effects output resolution is defined in the video preview settings, while Premiere Pro outputs regardless of the sequence is defined on.  So, they can be on different parameters, which is why we could work and not the other.

I use PC not Mac but I found the 9.7.7 drivers weren't very good with some devices and stuck with the 9.7.5.  I have not yet tried 9.8.  You could try their decommissioning.

  • Blackmagic HD Extreme 3D

I work for a church and I capture all my services to Final Cut Pro 7. I'm looking to pass first. I have a question captures the first with my Blackmagic HD Extreme 3D. Are there workarounds for this?

You didn't say what it is.

Be sure to only install the Decklink drivers after Premiere Pro.

  • Network configuration of Roaming Wifi problem I just bought an Airport Extreme and I intend to use it as my router

I just bought a refurbished Airport Extreme and I intend to use it as my router & combine with our old time Capsule of existing one to create a roaming Wifi network.

The new Airport Extreme (renovated) is in my studio/Office - directly connected to our internet broadband wireless (WAN port)

Our small ethernet is connected to my iMac [mid 2010 running OSX 10.11.5] & a PC and extends up to 2 other domains through an ethernet switch.

This configuration works very well, our internet speed has improved slightly - better than our old T-Link router bit.  WiFi available throughout the House - better on one side.

Time Capsule (2 TB) is connected by ethernet on the far side of the House, offer backup Time Machine and strong Wifi to this area.

This time Capsule was an existing installation that went perfectly with the T-Link before I bought the Airport Extreme.

I used the Airport utility to set everything up and it seems to work.

    The problem is:

Combines the Capsule and extreme connected & active, the Internet gradually slows down and grinds to stop. -Wifi seems to follow suit, but is much more gradual.

If I disable the Time Capsule, the internet connection is back to normal, Airport Extreme Wifi signal is strong and extends to almost all areas.

I got to the departure of the two units configuration problems, so I reset both factory default and from that moment managed to do all this work - with the exception that the internet connection slows down.  Whenever I visit a different web site, it takes more time to load/link upward.

I spoke with our ISP, the link to our tower is solid. The technology suggested that I put Wifi on each unit to use a different channel (2 frequencies & several channels each available).

So far, this has not resolved the problem, I will continue to make adjustments.

I googled this - most of the answers are not to date - usually 2012, 13, 14. and not directly related to my situation.  But I will continue my search.

I'd appreciate if anyone here has any suggestions

The new Airport Extreme (renovated) is in my studio/Office - directly connected to our internet broadband wireless (WAN port)

What is the number and the model of the modem or modem/router that your ISP has provided you?

Should we assume that you use a Mac with the help of a current or recent operating system?

If you get out of the Capsule of time and leaves disabled for now, the network AirPort Extreme continue to run at full speed for a few hours and not slow down?

We ask these questions because we must first confirm that the AirPort Extreme works properly until we can begin to troubleshoot the connection to Time Capsule.

  • Extend the network 1 Extreme and 1 Express

I have the latest Airport Extreme, and I would like to extend my network to the floor with best performance.  I have the ability to connect to an Airport Express Terminal via an Ethernet cable.  My question is this... If I set up a roaming network using the Express connected via a Cat5 cable or Cat6 will be broadcasting from the Express (capable of) wireless A/B/G/N/AC channels?  Or he can do A/B/G/N?  Assuming that I bought the last Airport Express Terminal.  Or, if I wanted to AC that I have to use a second Airport Extreme?

The Airport Express is not capable, "ac", so if you want to use "ac" of speed signals more high, you'll need another AirPort Extreme.

In both cases, you can use Configuration Apple 'Wizard' to automatically configure the AirPort Express or Airport Extreme for a network roaming... than Apple installation called 'Spread with Ethernet' in their installation utility.

  • How to extend a WiFi router network not Apple using Airport Extreme and Express?

My cable ISP company just gave me a new modem/router - a DG of Arris - 2470. For the last two years I used a cable modem independent older with a connected Airport Extreme (both located on the ground floor) and an Airport Express station on the floor as an Extender. I was very happy with the power of the signal around the House.

Since his arrival to the Arris router my signal has become very low to the floor. I would use my two Apple devices to extend/boost my network, but do not know how to do this.

    Thank you!

    Basically, you have two options:

    1. (Best overall performance of the network) Connect the extreme and Express on the Arris Ethernet gateway device and configure all for a traveling-type network. This would require an Ethernet connection between all routers that can be accomplished by either using Ethernet cable or the use of mains adapters.
    2. (The overall performance of the adequate network) Simply connect the extreme to the Arris Ethernet, then extend the extreme using the Express.

Which of these do you prefer?

  • Problems with AirPort Extreme and Qwest Modem/Router.

I have a Qwest ActionTec 1000 DSL VDSL2 gateway and want to disable the functions of router wireless and those through direct AirPort Extreme. I know that in the Modem I have to disable the functions of addressing and turn them in the AirPort Extreme to avoid address conflicts, but what are the settings I need to change in both devices? And what is "A Transparent bridging" on the side of the modem?

But what are the settings I need to change in both devices?

Sorry, we can't help on the settings for the modem/router, because it would be a question of Qwest as to if this is even possible and if so, if Qwest will support this type of installation. Sometimes the ISP lock modem/router settings, and although it seems as if you can change the basic configuration of the unit, you can really.

Yes, it is possible that another user of Qwest has done with the same modem/router you have and an AirPort Extreme... and may know the answer... but the chances of the person who holds this information also to see this post are slightly above zero. But, I guess it's possible.

If the modem/router can be configured to operate only as a simple modem, then the next step would be to get your Mac connected directly to the modem to test the connection in this way. If Qwest is going to help you, they will do it no doubt with your Mac connected directly to the "modem" as well.

Once you know the exact details of the PPPoE authentication to establish a connection, these parameters can be transferred to the AirPort Extreme and removed from your Mac. To do this, you reset the AirPort Extreme back to default and then put settings in place again. The installer should detect the PPPoE connection and then ask for your login information.  After this, the correct settings apply to AirPort Extreme during the installation.  You can still use the same wireless network name and password you used before if you wish, or set up a new network name and password.

PPPoE on the routers of the airport, at least in my experience, was not a reliable way to connect when I tried this in the past, but you don't really know how well... or even if... it will work until try you it. Unless you really want the airport to distribute IP addresses to devices on your network, things would be a lot more simple if you went ahead and used the modem/router "such what" and then let the airport works in Bridge Mode to transfer information in connection with network devices.

When you have the modem/router converted to act as a simple modem and made a successful connection using your Mac connected directly to the "modem", post back and we can help with the configuration of the AirPort Extreme if you need more advice.

  • Linking New Extreme old Extreme and Express. New Airport utility does not recognize old Extreme/Express

I had a linear new extreme connection (connected to the wireless model Cat5) related to the old extreme then Express (newish).

I would have put in place using airport Utility (for example) 4 years ago and has worked well.

I changed my wireless modem (formerly broken) but cannot now reconnect the old extreme and express to the extreme again.

The extreme new connects to internet just fine as long as it is in Bridge mode (does not work in DHCP/NAT mode).

My real question is the utility software Airport now seems not to recognize the Express extreme or old old to get re-connected.

The manual of Apple still shows configurations using the old utilitarian approach Airport (with each unit sitting on LHS page)

If you're still using OS X (10.5.8)... as, you enter in your profile information... then the AirPort Utility in this operating system must be able to recognize the old AirPort Extreme and Express.

However, if you have updated to a new operating system such as the Mountain Lion (10.8.x), Mavericks (10.9.x), Yosemite (10.10.x) or El Capitan (10.11.x)... and... you have more "round" or version 'dome' in the form of AirPort Extreme, and an old version of the AirPort Express A1084... so, the new version of AirPort Utility is not compatible with older airports.

So, this would help a lot if we could get clarification from your part...

    (1) what operating system you're using now?  If you are not sure about this, click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click on about this Mac and post back with the Version of OS X number that you see there.

    (2) what version of the AirPort Extreme you may have.  Is it a 'rounder', or 'dome' in the form of version... or... The "flat" or "square" version? If you have flat or square version, the number of model of the device is required. It is on the lower part of the airport, probably integrated in the base of carpet of MOSS. The model number starts with an 'A' follow-up of four digits. Please post back this information.

    (3) what version of AirPort Express you have?  Please look for the model number on the side of the Express. It is difficult to see, with grey lettering in a certain context, so you need to perhaps good lighting and glasses to discern the number of reading.  As extreme, the Express, model number starts with an 'A' followed by four digits. Please post back this information.

Once we have the information we need, we know more about how to proceed from this point.

  • Airport Extreme and Time Machine

    Two questions:

I have a 2nd generation (I think) Time machine. Network performance is slow throughout the House. MacBook Air, iPad, iPhone, etc. In addition, we have internet high speed ugly (country life). The new Airport Extreme upgrade will speed up my network? Also if I buy AE without Time Machine can I use always current Time Machine for backups and not as a router? Running Mac Mini end of 2014.

If the seed is limited by your internet provider then a new router will not help.

Try to connect to a Mac via a cable (Ethernet). That will help determine if update will help your wifi router with internet high speed.

An Airport Extreme includes NO storage. Apple's time Capsule incorporates an Airport Extreme and a hard drive for storage in a single package/case.

Even if you bought a time Capsule you sill use your existing storage unit for your Time Machine backup

  • Help please with two extremes and DNS

    Hello

    I hope someone can help.

    My setup

Modem-router ADSL with WiFi turned off >

Airport extreme connected by ethernet to the Modem/Router - create a wireless network, a static IP - Bridge Mode - >

Airport extreme connected by ethernet to the Airport extreme - create a wireless - Mode Bridge >-static IP address

Both now have the status message - "no DNS - this Airport base station does´t server have a DNS server address and could have problems connecting to the Internet."  If the airport is in Bridge Mode is necessary enter the DNS server (no shows at what time the DHCP value)? I should give him the address of the modem/router or real DNS I see in my modem/router settings?

Also the WiFi mode extend a wireless network is only fair for multiple extremes that extend wireless (No ethernet cable)?

    Thank you

    Turning off the modem/router

    Power off each AirPort Extreme

    Wait a minute

Turn on the modem/router and let it run for a minute

Put on single AirPort Extreme and check its status

If the first AirPort Extreme looks good, the second turns on and check its status

    Report on the results

    If you're still having problems...

The two extremes of the airport are working properly in the past... and this problem appeared just... or... is that what you are having trouble with a new configuration?

When you say that every AirPort Extreme has a static IP address, this means that each AirPort Extreme has been configured to request a specific IP address... or... does that mean that you have configured your modem/router to provide a specific IP address for each AirPort Extreme?

If you check the settings for each AirPort Extreme... each of them receives the static IP address that the router/modem is the assignment?

  • Airport Extreme and Cox Internet IPv6 problem

This is one notification to others as well as a question:

I have Cox Cable high speed Internet in several places using an Airport Extreme 3 GB connected as a router to the modem cable Cox.

For more than a week, we would find regularly in the morning that the outside connection to internet DNS servers were lost.  We called Cox several times and they have done the usual reset of the router and the modem and things seem to work for some time.  But the next day again.

They came out and replaced the connections, I I had to buy a new cable modem and I replaced a digital switch.  Every time things seem to work for some time.

I thought to replace the Airport Extreme (I read others did in a similar situation without result).

After much frustration, I started looking for Airport Extreme and DNS and found similar stories.

After that several unproductive calls with Cox Internet of first level support, I finally reached a level which acknowledged that Cox was the IPv6 deployment and he was having a problem with Airport Extreme routers.  They said Apple was working on it and gave me a number to call for support from router from apple.  Unfortunately the number they gave was no longer valid.

I persisted and finally got the Apple support and indeed they knew the problem and said Cox was working on that... But there was a temporary problem - and that was to disable iPv6 on the airport extreme (more precisely (internet > Internet Options > configure Ipv6: link-Local only).)

For now it seems to have stopped the decline during the night which seems to happen between 12:00 and 02:00.  By experience, I do not think that its really a problem of compaibility IPV6, but how the router meets some kind of rebate to zero/test signal signal service is done in early morning.

So the question is - does anyone know with certainty what happens or who really works on this.  From my point of view, both sides think it's the other problem.  BTW - I've read about other people with Non Apple routers running after something similar.

    GABarber,

I also had a similar problem.  Prior service of Cox Communications in Phoenix AZ has been rescinded and recently restored (March 1) yesterday afternoon.  After the departure of the technician, the wi - fi failed to produce a valid connection, citing DNS error and no response from the server.  We have a new modem, CISCO, at an Air Port/Time Capsule 2 TB ethernet cable.

After talking with support for level 2 level 1 and then Cox, there was sufficient evidence for a correct signal via the modem, but the Port of the Air was not picking up or he issued (by Cox).  Check my Air Port Utility apps on iMac and iPhone shows a signal Internet or Air Port casual, but never the two together.  The modem and the Air Port so would show appropriate green led lights up, but in vain to work wi - fi.

The only thing that has worked so far is your solution listed above: Air Port utility > Internet > Internet Options > configure Ipv6: link-Local only.

    Thank you, GABarber.
