• Widget Accordion with transparency does not not in Google Chrome.

  I created a Web site where I used the accordion to main menu Widget. It works in Safari on a Mac, but does not work in Google Chrome also foot bounces during the transition to the accordion Widget.  The site is minderoo.com.au

• read png: transparency does not work very well

  IM programatically loading PNG images and put them in a picture box. However, I see big differences when I programmatically load a picture or just drag it to the front of windwos Explorer; See attached picture.

  I can change the loaded PNG transparency, but making very high makes the alias bad image; doesn't look like not smooth. When its low there white edges.

  Are their other options?

  

  The left is loaded programmatically, the right is moved from windows Explorer; identical image.

  Your problem is that the scene is actually transparent but isn't your scene. The white you see is the default background of the scene. If you add

  scene.setFill(null);
  

  in your code, you will get what you want.

• Transparency does not.

  I'm pulling active on a document that has been designed in Photoshop. I opened the document in Fireworks. For each asset, I follow the copy. Opening a new document with transparent background. Then paste the image and export. I have the window optimize set as transparent matte to the PNG-24 format. But when I export or view a preview of the background is black. What is going on!?

  I've been optimizing PNG 32 and exported without any problem. I have the impression that you were exporting as PNG 24, which could have been the cause. LF, you must export it as PNG32 to support transparency. PS does the same thing, but it labels differently (PNG 24 with transparanency, I think) but they both mean the same thing - a png 24-bit with 8 bits for transparency.

• Attempt to add images w / rounded edges on bg but transparency does not work

  The bottom of my document is an image. I am trying to add additional photos on the bottom, and these have rounded corners. I followed the instructions to make the canvas of the transparent rounded images, but when I applied to them, the background of gray/white checkered (I thought she was transparent) shows ON the background image.

  I am a new user, so I don't know that I do something wrong, that maybe even in the process of rounding my angles, I don't know. Any help would be appreciated!

  Without more information, it seems that your additional photo layers are not actually transparent at the edges.  How, exactly, do you create them?

  It might help capture your screen showing the layers panel when you see the problem (for example, when the grid appears above the background).

  Here is one of the many ways to do something thing like what you want:

  1. use the rounded Rectangle tool and the options set to create a path in the appropriate part of one of the images you want on top.

  

  2 convert the path into a selection.

  

  3. copy the pixels in the selection.

  

  4. make your background images in the current document and paste the pixels copied on the bottom.

  

  5. move the new layer created by the operation of collage to where you want with the move tool.

  I have a .gif with transparent index image, presenting itself as I expect (i.e. with correct transparency) when embedded in a web page. However, transparency does NOT appear in my Flash swf file. In ActionScript, I use the loader to load the image, and the Bitmapdata coming out has the transparent property to true (I can see it in the debugger). However, does not have transparency.   I realized what I was doing wrong. I was not calling
  new BitmapData
  with the transparency setting and fillColor parameters. Sorry to take up on the plateau with something that should have been obvious.

• New to Acrobat Pro DC. I can't find the tool flatten to flatten a textbox. Was available in the previous version. Flatten the layers does not work.

  There is no built-in tool that does this in Acrobat. You might had a third party script or a plugin installed and adds this option at the request, like this: UVSAR: tool for selective flattening for Adobe Acrobat 8, 9 and X

• Custom particle problem, transparency is not in generated particle projection?

  Using After Effects CS5 and Trapcode particular:

  I want to use a custom for the generated particle particle.

  So I imported a .gif image of a grain of pollen, which have a transparent background.

  Transparency does not show any automagically after importation, but I found (via Internet) I can

  Select the image imported into After Effects and follow these steps:

  Effects > masking > color key and then use the pipette out the color I want to be transparent?
  Then the imported image transparent where it should (more or less), but generated particles still show white background instead of the newly added transparency... How can I do to ensure transparency in the imported image, visible in the generated particles?

  I also probably want to get a better look 3D particles, so I'm considering buying a 3D model of a pollen grain.

  Didi you make sure to use the Move attributes option when the composition before? Other than this can be due to some quirks with the GIF itself. If you can open it in Photoshop, convert it to RGB mode, create transparency and then save it as a PSD, PNG or TIF. This may be easier than spending hours endles trying to make it work in AE...

• inside the host does not ping external host in transparent mode

  Hi all I need urgent help on this pls I have host on ip add 1.1.1.2/24 connected inside interface of the pix with ios 7.0 in transparent mode. and the external interface of the pix connected to a router IP 1.1.1.1/24.i enabled icmp inspection.i can see the router arp entry into the host and the host arp entry in the mac address router.both are well learned by the pix. no traffic flow form the host to the router. There is no access on the pix of pix.the list does not create an arp entry in the stange very pix. I tried to manuaaly add the entry:

  ARP in 1.1.1.2 0011.d80d.f6ac it gives an error <1.1.1.2>not allowed. network address I do not get it .my question is why the pix don't is not create entry arp. what could be the problem. could someone pls help me with this thanks pls.

  Lol this is not as you mentioned. I'll explain the communication all in detail. I hope this helps.

  Assumptions:

  PIX configured to L2, with outside as 0 and inside as 100. insidehost on inside the network and external network configured outsidehost.

  scenario 1

  ==========

  If pix is not configured with the IP address, all IP packets are dropped and syslog Id 322004: no management IP address configured for transparent

  Firewall is saved. So lets see how communication works on L2

  outsidehost tries to communicate with insidehost. ARP request is from outsidehost and is sent through dissemination and it is received by PIX and sent to the inside network, without change.

  Return of InsideHost and the response is sent through to the outsidehost. When you see the arp on the outsidehost and the insidehost entries you will find the corresponding arp entries.

  PIX will forward arp request/reply.

  You can give the command "local host" and you won't see any entries created on the box.

  2nd scenario

  ==========

  An ip address is configured on pix and insidehost starts communication with the outsidehost. Communication is from top to bottom and will allow pix.

  No change in the behavior of the ARP. Exactly as mentioned in scenario 1.

  Given that the IP address is provided to the box, entered the local host is created and formed connection for traffic from insidehost to outsidehost.

  Connection between outsidehost and insidehost is denied because there is no access list to allow traffic from low to high.

  You can give the command "local host" and you will see the entrance to insidehost, outsidehost.

  3rd scenario

  =============

  An ip address is configured, created in order to allow the circulation of outsidehost insidehost and applied to the external interface of access list access list.

  No change in the behavior of the ARP. Exactly as mentioned in scenario 1.

  Given that the IP address is provided to the box, entered the local host is created and formed connection for traffic from outsidehost to insidehost.

  Access list being present to allow the traffic, the connection is allowed and entry is created in the box.

  Hope that the foregoing erases the entire communication L2 and the communication of different security levels.

• Transparent watermark does not, the background becomes white

  I have been sent a TIFF logo for a company and need to watermark pictures. I want to do it through LR. I have version 4.4.

  I loaded the file in PS6, in order to change to a Jpeg or PNG... to upload in the LR watermark change area.

  I am unable to find the PNG as an option in the menu "Save as." So I tried to 'save for Web '... I was able to save the file as a PNG and opening out of the office, it does not appear to be transparent. However, when the downloaded in the graphics area LR watermark... he suddenly has a white background again.

  I'm seriously tearing my hair. I watched a zillion tutorial and read a bunch of recommendations... and it still does not... HELP ME PLEASE. There is obviously some details little or is not the same...

  NOTE-> no option for PNG in the menu Save under...

  

  SAVE AS A PNG IN THE MENU "SAVE FOR WEB"... (I also tried selecting PNG-24 format)... none worked.

  Not even PS CC 20141 can save a CMYK as a PNG document which is an RGB document.  That's why record under does not work.  Trying to convert a document to RGB image / Mode / RGB and make sure the background is transparent to your Save As (not for the Web).

• Transparent footer on slide show full-screen does render does not correctly

  I placed a white box to 80% opacitiy behind the text in my footer for the page footer displays before a slideshow full screen. It looks perfect in Design view, but when I preview the page transparency makes that in the top 20 pixels of the white box. The rest of the transparent white box isn't here, so the text is unreadable in front of the picture (see images).

  The foot is on the master page on a top-level slide show, which is on a content page.

  Please check a few possibilities:

  -If no composition is used on the page, try to check if there is space between bordered rectangle border (foot) and the frame of the composition.

  -Check if a footer overlaps with another element on the page

  -Try to reduce the block of text for this text frame border does not falls on rectangle border edges.

  -Preview in browser (use of different browsers)

  -resize the rectangle (with opacity)

  I have a poster in InDesign I want to save in PDF format for printing - when I try to save it as a PDF I get this warning:

  "Mixture of transparency of the document does not match color space of destination specified in the settings of export to the format Adobe PDF."  To avoid the appearance of color changes in the PDF file, click Cancel and change the merger of the transparencies of the document workspace or the destination color space.  Or click OK to continue with the current settings. ..."

  Is there something I need to change?  I use color profiles: profiles of color Source and Destination of the "work CMYK U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2.

• When I add the transparent button on the powerpoint slide, animation does not, why?

  I am a new user of Captivate 4.0. I gave a transparent button on a powerpoint slide that I inserted, to give navigation branching. The slide has animation too. At the point where I add the transparent button animation (fade images fade in) stops running after that I have published. Can someone help me with this.

  Pure and simple. Buttons and objects Box click pause the slide until it clicked. If you want the slide to pause, change the button or box click so the break does not. Or change the "timing", so he made a break later.

  Out of curiosity, why a transparent button and not a click box? Basically, a click box is a transparent button.
