Transparent images

Hey guys,.

In the middle to redo my small business website, and need help with transparent images. Needless to say, I hate the color of the navigation bar, but cannot be changed because my logo is not transparent. Quick pointers on how to do it? I'm not a graphic designer, but prob should hire a... lol. Thanks in advance.

Site is https://www.dizzycat.net

Sincerely,

Dan

Here are a few versions of your logo with transparency. They look as if the background is white, because it is the color of the forum

This is a PNG image

And this one is a GIF file

The first one looks a lot better but is 100 KB, the second only 5KB

Yes, bevel and imboss, but if you want transparency for the web, you must create a png-24 file using the save for web dialog box: ctrl/cmd-shift-alt/opt-S.

Okay, open both files and put them side by side on your monitor. Click the Signature file. In the layers panel, click the layer with the signature and drag that layer in the layers Panel on the photo of the sunset. It will create a layer in the layers panel with the signature.

If that confuses you try this method. Choose the Signature file and make sure that you are on the Signature (see the layers panel). Choose Selection > all. Then choose the editing command > copy. Now, go to the image of the Sun and choose Edition > paste

  • Semi-transparent image

    Hello

I'm working on a small and simple pdf generator (just for the simple purpose of drawing), and I'm trying to manage a semi-transparent image (such as png).

According to the specification pdf, i ' v tried to manage the alpha channel of the image using SMask like this:

Add a SMask X R o (where X will be 8 in my example) to my Image of XObject (7 0 obj in my previous example); and then generate the new 8 0 obj with only the alpha channel data.

My SMask object has the same width/height of my Image (this is the alpha layer), each pixel varying from 0 to 255 (alpha opacity value), extracted and encoded as the way of my RGB image.

SMask using is the right way to manager an alpha channel, or not?

I tried to generate a similar pdf from word with a pdf printer driver, but apparently not generating a SMask tag and the object.

Must the SMask object (my 8 0 obj) must be reference to the resources pdf (5 0 obj)?

In fact, my pdf is not displayed in Adobe Pdf Reader (latest version, an error is contextual, say that there is a mistake in my pdf) but it appears correctly with another pdf reader (PDF, architect).

    Kind regards

How to make transparent images in Adobe InDesign CS5.5?

  • Change the color of the placed transparent images (tiff, psd, png...)

    Hello.

I have a project with a lot of images placed. They must be transparent, because I need to produce a number of variants and quickly change the background and the color of these images. The images themselves have a unique color. I know that I could change their color in Photoshop and then place them in a group, but it would be much easier to just place a black version of them, arrange them, and then duplicate this group and change the color of the images. I can do this in Illustrator? I tried to use TIFF, png and PSD to get transparent images, but I only managed to change color in TIFF (for example) when they lacked transparency.

Can someone help me with this? Thank you!

You cannot colorize hair which is not flat, as you found it.

Save an extra image is your transparency in grayscale mask. Align, and select the images and the palette of tranaparency > Popacity make mask > check Invert mask if necessary as in my example.

I have pictures of them jpg, but I want to cut out all the things around them and have this area of the transparent image in the Flash animation. How would I do that to have the spectacle of the image this way in Flash? I could use a path of Photoshop? Flash will recognize the paths?

    You can do two things.
1 import JPG to timeline layer, only the square hide on that layer.

2 mask might not be the most accurate or may take time to draw details
off the coast of the hand. You can remove the background in Photoshop and export the image
in PNG. Flash support PNG transparency channel and allows to export the
image with JPG compression so you end up with transparency and reduced file size.

  • How to superimpose a partially transparent image (created by the user RGB) on a grab image acquired (I16 in grayscale) session in a while loop?

    Hello

I'm trying to superimpose a partially transparent Alpha, RGB image, which I have already created through manipulation of pixels on an image in grayscale I16.  I16 image is acquired grab and RGB is a file location.  So my problem is that when I try to add (IMAQ) images, IMAQ add.vi gives me an error of type incompatible image.  I understand that these are different types of images; but I need to find a work-a-round in order to get the information from color to grayscale during a frame grab session information.  This frame grab is quite awhile so it runs a bit slow which is correct loop.

I already overlaid on an image I16 RGB.  However, the two images in this instance is called from a location file and not a capture session.  Now, I need a new vi which will overlap the file created on the images of the capture session.

If any addition information is needed, please do not hesitate to ask.  This situation is a little difficult to explain.

    Thank you for your help,

    David Fox

  • Files created in Publisher does not keep a transparent image as transparent when recording in pdf

I created a file in the editor 2016 and used an image as a background with the text on top. I adjusted the image to 70% of transparency, it is nice and light as a backdrop. After saving my as a .pub file, I did a "save under" to create a .pdf file to send by e-mail. I do it ALL THE TIME without ever having a problem.

For the last week or so when I did, the pdf has the background image like 0% transparency leaving the text unreadable. I tried the following:

    • restarting my computer (Windows 10)
    • Use transparency 0% but by adjusting the brightness and contrast of the image
    • unchecking the button "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)" which was a suggestion that I found a place online when I googled the problem
    • try to "print to PDF" instead of "Save as pdf" (when I print directly from Publisher on my printer, the printed image as I expected - as a clear background image)
    • update my Adobe pdf software
    • begging, screaming, cursing and offering up to my first-born of the gods of computing

    Thanks for any help!

It's a new bug in Publisher.

  • Using EPS Transparent image in the APEX

    Hi guys,.

would it be possible to download a transparency ENT to use eps format image as a logo in APEX?

When I upload an image called "LOGO.eps'' "(via les composants partagés = > Images), save and then click on the image, it does not show a preview but an Red Cross. "

The eps file is valid, because I can't seem to insert the Image in Word for example.

    My system info:

    Local installation: Application Express 4.2.4.00.08

    Thank you!

No, web browsers do not support the display of EPS files. PNG would be the best option.

  • InDesign makes clearer images when I add an object or an additional transparent image?

    Hello

I often have a problem that i' of like to see solved, but for months I found no tutorial that would help me solve the problem.

When I'm designing a book or a magazine and have a picture on a page or spread [double page] and decide to add a transparent object or apply an effect on one of the images, the other image [s] on the page or even spread seem to emerge, as if I applied some sort of effect of brightness on them , which I did not.

and if I remove the effect that I applied on that image, other images suddenly back to their original appearance.

Anyone know why this happens? IM missing probably a few obvious step or not to do an additional action...

I should add that I always add the images in CMYK mode [in color] and grey scale (black and white) and 300 dpi, although I don't think that the problem comes from there.

    I hope someone can help.

    Thanks in advance!

    Marc

I'll let our color management expert Rob Day provide more information. He'll probably stop here tomorrow.

I know that InDesign is not a color space in real grayscale, unlike Photoshop. David Blatner, a real InDesign expert, has created a good video series on color management in InDesign on Lynda.com. He said, "in InDesign, a grayscale image is defined as CMYK or RGB. If the mixture is set to CMYK, then InDesign sees this as a CMYK image with data only on the black plate. If space of merger of transparency is set to RGB and transparency on the page, and then internally, InDesign displays as if you converted to RGB in Photoshop. »

But I'm not expert enough to explain it, in addition, a color management.
