Trash in the viewfinder

When I look through the viewfinder, I see a few small pieces of trash. The mirrors are clean, and cameras was aired. Need help for how clean, or do I need to drop it somewhere.
Thank you from Texas

It's dust, probably based on the 'top' of the focusing screen.  The screen is a frosted surface (usually the upper part is frosted and the bottom is brilliant).  The camera is projecting an image focused on this screen, because the distance between the lens and the image inside the camera sensor is exactly the same distance as the distance between the lens and the mirror to the frosted glass.

When you look through the viewfinder, you're actually seeing a projected image on the screen to update (a bit like a rear projection TV screen).  This sort of would be like having dirt on the "inside" of the Panel of a rear projection TV - it is not on the surface, you can touch and we should remove the frosted glass to blow off the dust on the back of it.

When you take a picture, the mirror reflex swings clear and the light path goes directly to the rear of the lens of the imaging sensor without ever going through the focusing - screen where it will not affect your images at all (you may have rocks upward in the room and it wouldn't affect the images).

My 5 d II camera a user replaceable lenses of sight (Canon sells optional screens) and they include a special pair of tweezers with a curved tip to make it easy to open the update screen compartment and swap screens without having to 'touch' the screen with your fingers.  But your camera is not designed to have replaced sight glasses to (although others do them.)

Although it is possible to remove the screen and clean it, do it very carefully because it is easy to damage this screen (especially if you never did before and do not know how to remove and reinsert the screen).  As the dust will not appear in an image, I would leave it alone.  If you choose to try clean in any case, it's your camera and your choice to accept the risk.  But it could lead to a more costly repair if something goes wrong.

  • Why Thunderbird creates duplicates in the trash when the displacement of unread emails and read in the trash of the Inbox?

Mainly when I delete the unread messages in the Inbox, later when I look in the trash folder, the message will be twice in the trash? Is also happens with messages read, but not as frequently.

In addition, when you compose an email, after sending, I have the email in drafts several times?

    RE: Multiple projects

This sounds like you save copies 'Project' in the "Draft" folder on the server and not the folder 'Project' in the local folders.

I guess when you compose e-mail, a copy of the draft is saved maybe more than once until the folder is synchronized, so to save more than one copy.

Is it possible that there is a project of rogue email which you can see via webmail, but not through Thunderbird. This test by deleting all emails via Thunderbird project and right click on the project "folder and select"compact".» Then login to webmail, check the project folder to see if it is really empty.

    Another option:
If you do not need to keep a copy on the server, then I suggest you use the "Project" folder in the local folders. Set up here:

    • Tools > account settings > Copies and folders for the account
    • Under projects
    • Select 'Other' and 'writes the Local folder.
    • Click OK
  • Cannot move to the trash in the finder

Since the installation of OSX 10.11.4 I can't move a file to the trash in the finder. Is the only option that is displayed when I select "move to trash".

"Are you sure you want to delete [filename]"- and a 'yes' deletes the file.

I want to move files to the trash, as always, I have and delete them when I emptied the Recycle Bin. It is a safety net that is completely missing today.

I checked the permissions and other suggestions in your forum and nothing solves the problem.

Seems to be that something related to 10.11.4.

In the Finder, right or control click on a file and then click on: move to the trash

Then, you can empty the trash when you want.

  • debris on the viewfinder

Recently decided on the Canon T3i on Nikon. After conversion unboxing found what looks like a large spec of debris on the viewfinder.  Looks like the spec is inside the glass of the viewfinder.  In reading the different posts on this problem of camera /, it seems that it is quite common.  The fans were not working.

    Question:

What are the chances of getting a camera that has no debris/dust/dirt on the inside and who appears in the image or viefinder?

Is there a fix for what I can do myself?

I don't want to look back to get a unit of the worst questions... or several specifications.  That would drive me crazy.   I'm a little OCD as with such things.

I think that the question that arises here is why are there dust inside a brand new camera out-of-the-box?  Was it a failure with Canon QC?  Was this an opportunity and returned item?  It was a demo or display item?  Good luck, it's just a fluke and nothing else is wrong with the camera, but no one knows who for sure.

Regardless of whether or not it can be cleaned by blowing brush, I would not be happy spend hundreds or thousands on a camera to find it came preloaded with dust.  If it were I would go back.  Furthermore, if I bought a questionable dealer, I would be requesting a refund and take my business elsewhere.

At the very least, I send to Canon for a deep cleaning and tested it.  Good luck.

  • R500 HF as the installation of closed-circuit camera. It will show what that appears in the viewfinder

I need a camcorder to use as a camera for a system CCTV in a church.  Are the menus in the viewfinder to show via the HDMI output. Or it will look like it does when you listen to a recording.  I used cameras before which showed the rec light in the picture.  I need a camera that is not that.  The Vixva HF R500 work?

    Hi Rzrbk!

    Thanks for the post.

What you see on the screen is displayed on the direct output over HDMI.  To disable the display on the screen, please fo the following:

    1. Open the menu.
    2. Select the [Configuration] tab.
    3. Select [the output screen display].
    4. Select [Off].

  • Dominant in the viewfinder of color 70 d

I came back in a big-box store where I compared the sensation of the 70 D w/18-135 with a rebel w/18-55. No filter.

Looking in the viewfinder of the 70 D, everything has been visibly tinted - sort of a light Serpa. I have not tried the view through the rebel LV was neutral. The color is uniform throughout the view entire, not unequal or such.

The clerk took a few pictures and the color looked like right on the rear LCD, but through the viewfinder, the color was different and disturbing.

I know this view cameras take a beating, but I wonder what might be wrong.

    Hi j - p!

    Thanks for posting.

Compared to the rebel, the 70 d EOS has another type of viewfinder.  The viewfinder on the rebel sends the light directly on the glass and through the eyepiece.  However, the viewfinder on the 70 d EOS uses a transparent LCD screen.  More information is able to display including more advanced update system.  There seems to be a slight color difference, for the most part a look more coloured, especially when the unit is turned off.  It is not as noticeable when the camera is powered.

  • How to increase the time that the viewfinder display is turned on (T3i/600 d)

    Hello!

This seems to be a very basic question, but after searching for the manual and the web, I can not find an answer.

When I press and release the shutter, the camera button turns on the viewfinder screen that shows the shutter speed, openness, indicator of level of exposure and ISO speed. But it turns off automatically after 4 seconds. I looked in all the menus and I can not find how to increase this timeout so that the information is displayed for a longer period of time.

    Help?

    Thank you!!

    I don't think it's an adjustable value.

  • Lack of trash on the desktop

I seem to run out of the Recycle Bin on my desktop - how do I get it back?

    Thank you.

This happens when you accidentally delete instead of emptying the trash when you are emptying the trash.  Beta testers Vista complained about this option, called 'Delete' because the user is trying to delete something when he throws the RB in fact.

    Easily attaches.

Right-click on your desktop and choose personalize.  In the left pane, called the task pane, click Change desktop icons.  Put the checkmark in the box of the trash in the desktop icons settings window that appears. Colin Barnhorst
