Trash on G:\ is corrupt?

I use windows 8, and when I start my computer, I always get a popup saying the trash on corrupt G:\is, you want to clean up?

I can say yes or no.  What is happening and why continually make this popup when my office opens?

Hi Suetis,

I suggest you try the following steps and it will help you get rid of the error message with the trash.

a. press the Windows key + X , and then select and (Admin) command prompt.
b. type the following command and press ENTER:
RD /s /q G:\$Recycle.bin
c. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, type and press Enter to confirm.
d. Close the command prompt window and restart the computer.

This clears the record $Recycle.bin G:\ partition. You may need to do this for each partition of your system hard disk.

It will be useful.

Please report if you encounter any problems related to Windows and we will be happy to help you.

  • The trash on E:\ is corrupt. You want to empty the Recycle Bin for this drive

    Dear people,

I am faced with a pop-up message after setting Deny permissions to write to the file/folder E: drive.

This pop up comes when you are connected to the server by RDP, as well as through the Citrix icon.

    OS - Windows 2008 R2

    Published through CitrixXenapp desktop computer.

This is to make others mad. When YES button is pressed, the trash emptied without any problems and no popup more until the next reconnection for the new session.

    Tried them,

    1 deletion.

As mentioned in many pages, I tried to delete the recyclebin Administrator folder to the cmd prompt.

    I had several access denied.

seems I'm trying to delete the bin removed users.

    2 rename failed.

I tried to rename the folder of the command prompt. says the file does not exist.  But there is in the dir command.

    3.rebooted.

I guess that the sfc scan runs after restarting the server.  But it doesn't have this problem once I rebooted.

It's urgent! Please help me with your suggestion.

    Thanks in advance.

    Method 1:
    Fixing a corrupt trash
    Steps to follow:
    a. open an elevated command prompt window. To open a command prompt, click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator.

    b. type the following command and press ENTER:

    RD /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin

(This clears the record $Recycle.bin the C:\ partition.) You may need to do this for each hard drive on your system partition).

    c. Type exit to close the command prompt window.

Note: The following procedure permanently deletes all the files and folders that are already in the trash (from all the user accounts in the system) and can not be recovered.

    Method 2:
Perform the SFC (System File Checker Scan). A SFC scan will try to locate and repair the missing or damaged system files.

  • WHAT IS THE SYMBOL THAT LOOKS LIKE A DROP OF WATER?

This symbol appears in the column 'Size' 'object and presents it as Orange in color. I have a spam message with this indicator, which I can't delete my account 'All messages', even if I took steps to remove the trash (where it was corrupted). Can I remove the symbol or is it defined by the sender, and if I can, this will allow me to remove the email?

I suggest that you forget and ignore the folder "all messages". It's an artifact of the way googlemail inwardly eat your email. Basically, you don't need to see or work with the folder all the messages.

Unsubscribe it in Thunderbird. Most almost everything you can see in all messages will be visible in Thunderbird in some folder is appropriate.

    Corrupt mail?

My new gmail address mail went down fine. Then I lost a large part of it in the box in.

Sent mail seems to reproduce several times in my project. Also in the trash without my help. Help appreciated. Thank you.

    Yosemite of OS X running.

Also went to Applications > utilities, disk utility. and 'Repair permissions' restarted when finished. Don't know if this will help future emails.

To project e-mails, open the preferences Mail account tab select the account gmail and go to the behaviour of the ball. Uncheck the tab where you will store draft messages on the server.

Give a little more detail on other issues. For the lost emails, they lack also the site of the gmail webmail?

  • Trash in corrupt network

On my computer the 'My Documents' files are on a network (\\Drive\share\Allen\My Documents) drive.  When I click on the icon to the trash basket associated with My Documents always generates a warning box that shows it as being damaged.  With the corrupt warning box I can either select this option to empty the "corrupt" bin or leave it as what.  As some have suggested, I deleted the $RECYCLE. BIN file found in the My Documents folder, but when it is rebuilt, I get the same warning.  The trash appears to save deleted files, but they can't be viewed - only deleted.  ("Image" files are also on a network drive and have the same problem).  I use Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, is there anything that I can to fix this?
    Thank you

So, with no answer for 8 days, I guess that there will be no forthcoming answer.
    Thanks for your help Gloria.

There is no Recorder program called iso (pushisher alex freiman) that I don't recognize cannot remove or delete.  Any suggestions to remove the wire corrupted in r/bin. I had to re - install windows again, but when I hit install it says 'Save Temp files' is the last thing I want. Is this normal. Save and delete the temporary files? If it is c type this rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin)

  • "Corrupt" but not trash. Difficulty without draining?

    I have a dual-boot system with XP and 64-bit Win7 on it.

When I opened the trash in Win7, I get a message telling me that my"Recycle Bin corrupted" and asks if I want to remove all what it. No. The Recycle Bin is great when it opens. Content is displayed correctly, new deletions are present, and the files can be restored in their place.

Win7 doesn't believe RB is "corrupt", because XP used the RB even on the same drive.

A way to 'fix' the problem so Win7 stop bugging me every time that I open it?

Thanks for the reply, if any solution that involved deleting files in my trash was really not an option.

As noted however, the problem seems to be fixed now. Despite giving permission to Windows to "Empty" the "corruption"Recycle Bin", it seems to have solved the problem without deleting my files (it may have deleted some specific"corrupted"files, but I did not try to confirm if this was the case).
