  You can check that the videos or photos are in a supported file format.  Photo Gallery supports the following formats of photo file: JPEP, JFIF, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and of the WDP.

  If Windows Movie Maker is installed, Photo Gallery supports the following video file types: ASF, AVI, MPEG and WMV.

  Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

  Without knowing your OS or the exact error message and everything Word to Word or the manufacturer, brand and model of your computer (especially the chipset), it is very difficult to provide you with clear instructions or recommendations; However, here is a link to another thread where someone had the same problem and there are two solutions (both different and both worth a try - if the first doesn't work, try the second): http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/gfxui-has-stopped-working/e7f88c22-7c58-4fc2-9ae9-667556d0c4fc.

  Sorting all of the drive is not possible. Perhaps, it can be done by another program I'm not aware of.

  You can any image right click and select open with... This will allow you to open the image in the Windows fax and picture viewer.

  Windows fax and picture viewer is not a self-contained exe file, you are asked to call a dll file.

  It follows the command line...

  Rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen

  You can click on start-> run, type &-> rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen-> ok.

  If you are missing the open icon with you can try open file jpg by the following method:

  Open my computer-> file types-> select jpg-> Advanced-> Double click on Open->-> tools-> Folder Options and paste-> rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1-> in the application used to perform action-> Ok on all screens.

  Now, when you click any jpg file, it will open Windows fax and picture viewer.

  first thing I could do with it would be to reinstall the operating
  system itself. You don't know how the computer has been maintained,
  which has been improperly installed, what's missing, what virus and
  There may be spyware, etc. I would not live with someone
  other errors and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc. and I
  would not recommend anyone else to do.

  Your choice of course, but in my opinion, you're playing with fire if you
  do not reinstall Windows properly.
