  I have a Lenovo 3000 v100 (lower plug).

  I use it for activities such as browsing the web (Mozilla), standard e-mail (outlook) and MS word. So I think that I put to the challenge the CPU as in using games or video playback. I don't play music while I'm not working. But it becomes really very hot.
  The fan is almost always on, and it is often running in fast mode. A hot wind of the laptop.
  I can't use the laptop on my lap if I don't want to take the risk of burning my legs.
  Also, the surface of the keyboard gets too hot and becomes uncomfortable.

  Is this normal? You guys have the same problem of temperature? Is there something I can do?

• LENOVO 3000 V100 HELP?

  After mistakenly formatted my hard drive when you try to install Linux on my 3000 V100, I tried to get help on how to get my Lenovo to pre load (original). How to do this? My Lenovo never came with any disk recovery.

  After 5 days of frustration about how do to try to identify the cause of the "AC connected but no charging in progress" message. My Lenovo 3000V100 suddenly began to recharge.   Having Kingston or Corsair shouldn't make any difference on the available amount of memory. This is because other devices still need to use the same amount of addresses to perform their functions of IO.

• Can't open my dvd tray & DVD will no longer play

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6810 laptop.  Recently, I tried to play a dvd, but the computer does not recognize that there is a dvd inserted.  I must start by saying that a few days before I tried to access a data cd, but was unable to do so.  In any case, when I then tried to use the dvd player, it does not recognize that there is a dvd in the machine.  Now, unfortunately, I can't not to open the dvd drawer.  It is stuck and nothing I've tried will open.  I tried opening outdoors also although inwardly by clicking "Eject" Quick Play.  I've even tried doing lever, but he is really stuck on one end.

  I don't want to have to take the machine to a repair shop.  They're going to have it forever and I need for my work every day.

  Any suggestions?

  Hi, looks like you have a defective optical drive.

  To remove media insert a paper clip in the access of the output in the control panel front of the optical drive and gently push on the paper clip until the tray is released.

• DVD burner (Pioneer) upgrade Dimension 3000 causing problem ~ can anyone help?

  I have a Dimension 3000.

  The two discs were going on me, so I bought two new.

  I installed the two made sure the riders were that they were supposed to be

  the dvd drive installed fine. The problem is that I installed the burner.

  It's a Pioneer DVR - 115D installed as secondary

  The pc shows, but the green light on the front of the burner continues to blink as if it were held (two times then pause) continuously.

  The tray has a mind of its own, whenever I restart my pc it opens.

  I called pioneer & the guy said that my motherboard BIOS needs to be updated, if that's what I did, updated AO1 to AO3 I think it was then I get this blue screen that says «machine check exception»

  Green led blinks always & it won't play anything. It shows that it is installed.

  I update my firmware too for this burner of 1.13 to 1.18.

  So I do not know where to go from here. If someone could help that would be great.

  Do not have this good old classic, but I've seen several times. It's really hard to tell what happens there, but according to your applicant, I presume that there may be simply mechanical problem.

  All right, but he locked the region on the DVD-rom to region 1 instead of region 4 and we cannot change even if we have formatted back to R4.

  Can someone from the Lenovo admin please help?

  You should get another 2 x 1024 mb SO-DIMM PC2-5300 speed, although you can use speed PC2-6400 SO-DIMM, it however will still function speed PC2-5300, which is the fastest supported by your motherboard chipset. I hope that answered your question.
