Tree inside the menu bar control

Hi guys,.

before I re-implement Menubar to support the tree, I was wondering is there a component that will support that somewhere, basically what I want is to have a possibility to show treeControl as one of the menus on the menu bar, I would say Menubar has currently a hardDependency on Menu object even though he could have typed as a list and this tree may also be able to leverate menu bar , but there may be some menu property dependencies hard I have not specified but anyway summary question:

is it possible to have trees showup everytime the bar menu menuItem is clicked instead of the Menu?

Might be easier to use ButtonBar popup trees

  • Problems using collection ArrayCollection as a DataProvider for trees and the menu bar, possibly bug?

    Hi guys,.

    I'm having some troble using a collection ArrayCollection as a DataProvider for a tree and a menu bar...

    I read some Adobe documents on this subject, and I read that two components read the dataProvider in the same way.

    but my current works of DataProvider well on the tree, but not on the MenuBar component...

    My dataProvider is an ArrayCollection collection of a custom class (which extends from ArrayCollection collection), and among its assets is a children's collection: ArrayCollection, so the hierarchy can be read correctly.

    When I use the component of the tree it works, but the menu bar do not display the branches...

    Can someone help me?

    Here's the function that create my dataprovider:

    private function fnFillDP (): void {}
    for (var i: int = 0; admResult.length > i; i ++) {}
    If (.nivel JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]) == 0) {}
    var novoMenu:CL_ArrayMenu = new CL_ArrayMenu();
    novoMenu.idMenu = .idMenu JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);
    novoMenu.titulo = .titulo JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);
    novoMenu.parent = .parent JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);
    novoMenu.nivel = .nivel JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);
    novoMenu.ordem = .ordem JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);

    dataProvider.addItem (novoMenu);
    } ElseIf (.nivel JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]) == 1) {}
    for (var j: int = 0; dataProvider.length > j; j ++) {}
    {If (CL_ArrayMenu(dataProvider[j]).idMenu == {JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]) .parent})}
    var novoMenuChildren:CL_ArrayMenu = new CL_ArrayMenu();
    novoMenuChildren.idMenu = .idMenu JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);
    novoMenuChildren.titulo = .titulo JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);

    novoMenuChildren.ordem = .ordem JV_MenuAdm (JV_AuxMenuAdm(admResult[i]).menuAdm [0]);
    If (dp.length > 0) {}
    If (CL_ArrayMenu (dp.getItemAt (0)) .parent == novoMenuChildren.parent) {}
    dp.addItem (novoMenuChildren);
    } else {}
    DP = new ArrayCollection();
    dp.addItem (novoMenuChildren);
    }
    } else {}
    dp.addItem (novoMenuChildren);
    }

    CL_ArrayMenu (DataProvider [j]). Children = dp;
    break;
    }
    }
    }
    }
    tree.dataProvider = dataProvider;
    menu.dataProvider = dataProvider;
    }

    Sorry for the bad English...

    Hello

    You can try using xml as the dataprovider of the Menu bar instead of going for the Arraycollection collection.

    Thank you

  • "Terrible blue ' seeps into the menu bar

    in 2014, I asked this question:

         Several new Firefox Support questions relate to the new "awful blue" in the menu bar in 29.0.1. But that "awful blue" was ALWAYS there as the Windows windowframe color (in Windows XP, SP 3). The real problem is that the windowframe has now "leaked" or "fused" its way into the Firefox menu bar. The two should be separate. Please separate them again, so that Windows controls the windowframe only, while Firefox controls the menu bar only.

    It is visually important when there are several tabs as a single tab is visible. The other tabs have nothing left but their legends. See photo.

    At the time where I got this reply and found it useful.

         In the customize settings you can add the title bar to separate the two. I hope this helps. I will lock this thread unless you need further support, please feel free to post another question.

    But now (v41.0.2) it doesn't seem to be a title bar, and I can't make this thing work.

    Please allow the color of the Firefox menu bar was separated from the windowframe Windows color, whereas Windows controls the windowframe only, while Firefox controls the menu bar alone.

    Try setting browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar to false on the topic: config page to disable the display of the tabs in the title bar.

    You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
    You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • Can I move minimize them, restore and close more Firefox symbol and the description of what tab I'm on the Menu bar?

    On the seal, I want to put the top line of the screen - one that begins with the symbol of Firefox and then continued a question | Support Mozilla - Mozilla Firefox on the same line the file edit etc.

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/customize-Firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars
    Open customize and in the lower left corner, click the title bar to hide the title bar.

    And I would recommend not having the menu bar show all the time. You can hit the ALT key when you want to access the menu bar.

  • How can I put buttons to the right of the Menu bar?

    There used to be a flexible space I could put in the menu bar to set the buttons to the right. I can't see this flexible space in 'customize '.

    I think the latest version with a flexible space was 28 of Firefox.

    Have you been or are you using the extension classic restaurateur theme to bring flexible space and other controls on the toolbar?

    If you have not yet tried, be aware that the CTR makes some important changes when you install it, but these can be controlled in the Options dialog box. To access the Options for the extension dialog box, you can use the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then find the extension and an option button.

    It is simpler that has what need you, but I don't have on this subject.

  • remove the menu bar on the secondary monitor

    We use 2 monitors. We have upgraded to El Capitan and must be able to remove the menu bar on the top of the secondary computer.

    How can I do this?

    its been a while but it might be:

     > System Preferences > Mission Control

    turn on "screens have separate workspaces.

    and then disconnect you and back in.

  • How to move the menu bar?

    I want to put my bar menu next to the address bar. The address bar is not 80% of the space on this line. PLENTY of room for the menu bar. I hate watching this big chunk of wasted space at the top of my screen where the menu bar and the bar above the menu bar to sit. remove the menus bar appearance of I'm looking for, but it does not use the bar of menus with passes through several clicks. Not convenient.

    Just to be clear. I do not see my office at the top of the screen. It's just the unused space.

    See this support article.

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/customize-Firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars

    IMO, the best thing to do would be to move all the items in the Navigation bar (where the address bar / URL Bar is located), one at a time and then hide the navigation bar.

    Another thing to consider is to use the Compact Menu extension, so that you can hide the Menu bar and have access to all these menus via a toolbar button. https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/compact-menu-2/

    And if you hide this toolbar button in the Palette, you can use the ALT key to open the 'menu' bar in a menu drop-down in the upper left corner of the browser window. No need for the menu bar or even a button in toolbar to take place of the user interface.

    I did my own toolbar a configuration of the user interface from the time of Firefox 1.0, I have even some of my favorites in a folder sitting to the right of the address bar. Drop down bookmarks FRO this folder as the 'links' over flow in Internet Explorer. Firefox is so configurable and extensible, the only limit is the imagination of the user!

  • Using tab, typing in the Menu bar opens irritating drop to the bottom of the page.

    Whenever I type in the search bar, or the menu bar, a drop down menu appears irritating. When I'm in a normal page and try to tab the text box text box the same to #@ #$ arrives.

    Whenever I hit "Control C" to copy and then paste - stupid same drop-down menu. It's so annoying that I'm FF 13 bottom until it is resolved.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  • Questions from the menu bar

    Recently, I opened Firefox and everything is messed up. All my settings were gone. I managed to change some settings back, but now the menu bar does not respond, it's just all in gray. The back button is the same way. The address bar does not even address, or if this is the case, it's a different tab. And all my changes to my settings disappear after I close the program. What exactly happened here?

    1. In the menu bar, click on the help menu, and then select restart with modules disabled... Firefox starts with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog box.
    2. Put a checkbox reset bars of tools and controls and to reset all preferences default Firefox user.
    3. Click make changes and restart

    For more information, you can try to look at the changes to the toolbars and window sizes are not saved , and the Preferences of Firefox reset to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

  • problem with the customization of the menu bar for the time of execution...!

    I have created a user interface and want to give all selectable options to the user through cutomized launch time menu bar. However, I am facing a problem with that:

    If I click on any menu item in the bar, I'm not able to choose another option until the first is finished. For example, control of the execution of a test sure if I give 'run' and 'pause' of the goods covered by 'test' in the menu bar and click 'Run', the control does not return to the menu bar to choose the other option ("pause" in this case) until execution of receives test it more. Making 'pause' option useless. Is there a way to fix this?

    Fix is the example.

  • the font size in the menu bar of Lightroom

    After the upgrade to Windows 10 fonts in the menu bar ('file - edit - library... ") is very small, almost unreadable. How can I solve this problem?

    Do you it in the display area of Windows. Control Panel or the display of system settings.

    More than likely you use a high-resolution display and all the fonts in the menu are very small, not only in LR.

    First, close your office cc application.

    then, rename the opm.db file by:

    Navigate to the OOBE folder.

    Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

    Mac OS: /users/folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE

  • unwanted shade around the menu bar.

    I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I can't get rid of the shadow STROKE or back that sits on my content menu. I have attached a screenshot. Anyone know what I'm missing here? And I can say, I HATE the Muse made change by asking questions! It took me 10 minutes to understand how even ask this question!shadow.png

    Depends on where the stroke is applied. You can put a race & fill in the menu bar, or each menu item or block of text inside the menu item. Here's a bar of menus example with a different contour/background on every one of these things:

    The first click on the menu bar select the menu bar, then you can change the line to fill the bar itself (brown & red in my example).

    If you click again, you should get a selected menu item, and you can change this race/fill(yellow & green in my example).

    If you click again on the text, you should get the selected block of text and you can change this race/fill(orange & blue-grey in my example).

    Hope that helps.
