Treo 800w and Services Terminal Server

The user guide available online for the 800w, he said it includes software for Terminal services, aka Remote Desktop. I don't find this software anywhere on the phone or on the supplied CD.

I found the problem. I got the program installed on the storage card and the program does not support that. Here is a link to the program in case people need in the future.

  • is a busy schedule the Services Terminal Server on Vista Home premiun default OS?

Everything I've read seems to indicate that it is NOT a program on the default Vista operating system

But my Vista OS seems to have it. Could it have been installed as part of remote support by microsoft staff a few years back?

If yes how to remove? Or should it be on my system? I don't want to more remote help any or be able to remote access my desktop

Services Terminal Server service is a standard component of Windows Vista, and it is enabled by default on all my Vista computers.  What have you read that says otherwise?  Can you provide a link?

    To disable:

    1. Press the Windows key + R , type services.msc in the box, and then click OK .
    2. Double-click Terminal Server Services .
    3. Set the Startup type to disabled .
    4. Click OK .
    5. Restart the computer.

  • Services Terminal Server lack how can I add?

Services Terminal Server is absent and an external Seagate replica can prevent from functioning correctly. I have 7 and everything works fine.  To correct an error with the drive, I found this missing according to their help.  How can I add?

That seems odd... but anyway: Terminal Server Services is actually a full version of Windows Sever (or a Windows Server service), is not a feature that can be added to a client OS.

The forces of the Terminal Services are now called "Remote Desktop connection", which can be run by typing the command following in the "Run" box of Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7: mstsc

Cool fact: Although the program is now called Remote Desktop, the command is always mstsc , because means micrometric Msoft Terminal SServer Cbinding, because it is used to connect to a Terminal Server.
So, in summary, Terminal Server Services cannot be installed in the OS.

  • Palm treo 800w and jawbone 2 cannot use voice commands?

I searched through the forums, google, etc. Is it true that the Palm Treo 800w and the jawbone headset 2 do not support voice commands? If they do I can't activate voice commands of the jawbone but can be downloaded on the phone itself.

    Thank you.

I had to do a hard reset on the phone for another reason and here the voice command works now. I don't think I did a hard reset after that I had the voice command software installed or implemented match the headset jawbone on the phone then maybe you need to do a hard reset then. Thanks for the support otherwise.

  • Strange behavior NumLock Services Terminal Server

    Hi all

Hi have a strange problem with each user on my server for Terminal Server Services (W2012, R2)

When they connect they have NumLock on and he works and then suddenly in the middle of all the work they do with numeric keypad it stops working.

The strange thing is that the light on the keyboard is always but it does not work, if you put NumLock OFF with the keyboard, then it starts working again.

The problem repeatedly every day, and because they are most of the accounts of the Department of accounts with this problem is serious because they may think that they write som number and in reallity, they are not.

I put 2 registry values to always have the keypad locking on, but like I said before that happens in the middle of all that they do.

I put the registry values are:

To change the currently registered in user behavior:
    Hkey_Current_User\Control Panel\Keyboard

To change the behavior of all users:
    HKEY_USERS\. Default\Control Panel\Keyboard

  • Manager remote desktop services / Terminal Server Services Manager

I've upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise to Windows XP SP3. I'm used to use the "reset" Terminal Services Manager a 'Down' RDP - TCP or ICA - TCP port. In remote desktop Services Manager, the ability to 'Reset' a 'Down' port is "grayed out". I can't "Reset" of the port. I checked in Windows features and parts under Remote Server administrative tools have been checked. I don't want to create another port. I want to 'Reset' current 'Down' port. I'm a little frustrated that I have to connect to a XP workstation to get this accomplished. Am I missing something? Something is not properly configured? Do I need to install an additional application?

  • Problem with Treo 800w and 2008 Nissan Altima

I can get my treo 800w for pairing with my 2008 Nissan Altima, he tells me again my battery and the singal strength, I can even answer the calls. But when I answer a call or make a call you can not hear the person at the other end, nor they can hear me. I know that this is not a problem with the car, because the other phones work very well. Please let me know if there is a fix for this or if it's something in the works.

    Thank you

    Rodrigo

So I went to the dealership and they were basically looking at my like I'm a fool. They said that they could not do the update, because they have never heard of him. I went home and called Nissan Bluetooth support and they told me that I have to buy Navigation DVD 7.4 in order to get the update. The price is $ 299 at the dealer and $190 of navteq. So I asked the guy to support if I buy the drive on mine it will fix my problem, he said no because when you buy the merchant, they will check your system to make sure that it is compatible with the new dvd navigation and perform the updates. I think its crap they have simply not do the update with the charge me for a new navigation dvd. The tech support guy remind me and offered me a work-around to get bluetooth working on the car. This isn't the best solution, but it works. Basically, pair you the phone and make your call. When the call is in course/ringtone, click the button on the screen to switch to your device, that it will be set on your phone. Then click phone on the wheel button, and everything will work correctly. I tired it and it works. This leads me to believe it's a problem with Nissan and not WM, but I'm not an expert.

  • InDesign and the Terminal Server

    Hello.

    We use different products:

    InDesign CS 3.0 (Windows XP)

Adobe Design Standard 3.3 (Windows XP)

    Creative Suite Design Premium 4.0

And we would like to use the following products with Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6:

    Creative Suite Design Premium 5.5
    Adobe InDesign CS5.5
Adobe Creative Suite Design Standard 5.5

Is it possible to run each of them with a server terminal server?  With terminal server, I mean that each user starts, it's own session on the server when you start the program. No matter what type of server (Windows, Citrix). We just want to know, if that's possible.

Thanks a lot for the response and assign it.

    David

Design Premium and design standard are not software products, they are software packages.

I imagine that the answer for InDesign is perhaps not the same as the answer for, say, Flash Catalyst.

In any case, for InDesign the answer is Yes. See http://www.adobe.com/devnet/indesign/documentation.html#citrix.

Note that the license design may seem expensive; Adobe provides that you must have a license for each user with access to the product (not for the number of concurrent/simultaneous users). See the 3.3 sec. guidelines of licenses end-user in the PDF document linked to the above address.

  • not available on Server 2008 R2 request option and installed Terminal Server services.

We are having the following problem:

Unix-based application of banking requires frequent updates.  In server 2003, updates have been dome to console ZERO and now that option is no longer available.   The question at stake on 208 R2 server when remote desktop Services is installed.  Is there a work around or is there a setting that needs to be changed to get this to work.

  • What is a Terminal Server Services?

    Original title: Terminal Services?

What is a Terminal Server Services? It's the description: allows multiple users to be connected interactively to a machine as well as the display of desktop and applications to remote computers. The Foundation of the remote desktop (including RD for administrators), the fast user switching, Remote Assistance, and Terminal Server. I don't want other users to be connected to my computer and I don't want to share anything with other machines. Services Terminal Server has to do with the router? Can you please let me know more about this service and what will happen if I stop the service. My OS is Windows XP SP3 / Google Chrome / laptop with wireless router / device of Netgear USB to connect to the router. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

In Windows Server 2008 R2 remote desktop services, formerly Terminal Services in Windows Server 2008 and earlier versions, is one of the components of Microsoft Windows (client and server versions) that allows a user to access applications and data on a computer on a network using the Protocol RDP (Remote Desktop). Services Terminal Server is the Microsoft implementation of thin-client terminal server computing, where Windows applications, or even the entire desktop of the computer running Terminal Server Services, are made accessible to a remote client computer. The client may be a computer, running any operating system as long as the Terminal Server services protocol is supported, or a barebone machine powerful enough to support the Protocol with the Terminal services Server, only the user interface of an application is presented to the customer level. Any entry which it is redirected over the network to the server, the application execution takes place.
