  • Help! Change installation for CS6 drive

I have a new amazing computer with a wonderfully fast SSD, but it's a small disc. Of course Adobe wants to run in the fast lane with the system, but it is too big.

I need to be able to change the installation location of the reader, however, the installation disc does not provide this option.  I checked the forums and can't see how to do this.

I had already installed on C, so I need to move files or uninstall, clean and reinstall.  Help, please.  I am out of space on C and does not rub.

Sending love to anyone who responds.

First uninstall, then use the CS cleaner tool.  Then when you go to install again, do not forget to specify the drive where the installation options are presented... you should know that some Adobe software must be installed on drive C and you can't control that.

  • No adapters network for ESX 5.5 Installation

I hope someone can give me an answer I can use to try to get this working.

I try to install ESX 5.5 on a PC additional I have laying around my house and I've known nothing else problems with the network adapter. I use an Asus P68V-Pro motherboard with a processor Intel 2500 k and Intel PCI - E network card.

I originally tried to install with built-in Intel Gigabit Ethernet port and was getting a similar error, so I went out yesterday and bought a PCI-E card I know is supported by ESX 5.5 I have 2 friends with the same card it runs without any problems. Reviews of the card that I managed to find also seem to support this. My motherboard supports virtualization and my processor is on a list of the compatible CPU for Hyper-V and VMWare.

But every time I try to run the installation it pops up with the NETWORK CARDS WITHOUT error and cancels the installation. Is there a way to force drivers to be detected during the installation, or ignore the prompt for access to the network in order to install it and then manually transfer the drivers more later?

Ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated, as I seem to have run out of good on my end.

  • Pavilion zv5000 - IDE adapter for HARD drive?

I have a Pavilion zv5000 series portable whose hard drive died several years ago. My father sent him to a work friend, who understood that it was the HARD drive, and I guess that he threw the car with an adapter with it. I got an IDE drive, foolishly, assuming that the pins on the drive just fit into the connector on the laptop itself. After a lot of confusion as to why the player wouldn't be good, a research showed a card equipped with a regular at one end IDE connector and a connector similar to that on the laptop on the other. I ask if it is true that I need one, even if I do not otherwise so that it connects.

Also, nines are isolated from the main pins on the drive. The old connector Molex had also four pins. These are the power pins, and the adapter address these too? It doesn't seem to be any other connector on the laptop. Once again, I want to just confirm this and no I have to not just buy the wrong thing for this laptop.

Therefore the adapter that I'm looking for?

Yes, I used to own a zv5000 and I can confirm there was a plastic connector black who went on the IDE brass pins on the hard drive to allow the connection to the motherboard.

  • Where can I get a copy of the Windows XP installation for my sister. His was a virus and I had to format the drive. It's a registered computer

Where can I get a copy of the Windows XP installation for my sister. His was a virus and I had to format the drive. It's a registered computer. I have it ready for the operating system but I need to download a copy so I can retrieve my CD-ROM/DVD-Rom drive, so I can then bring to its system and reinstall the XP and then if she wants that we can get a windows 8. I use windows 8 on this system, I bought a few months ago and it's satisfying, but I don't understand why when I got it I could do things like using the keyboard of the screen with my fingers, but now I can't even use the keyboard mouse. It won't work at all. In a way I found it better that way at the beginning because I do a lot of typing and it would freeze until I was constantly stressed. I returned to Windows 7 mode I think but not sure.  All I know is that these two things have never worked correctly, so if they are still under warranty I will bring to the Future Shop and maybe they can fix it. I wish I could turn on and off easily so it does not interfere with my writing and study of a language second.

  • Error installation software device driver for removable devices in Windows Vista x 64

I have Windows Vista x 64 installed on my PC and nVidia Forceware motherboard and graphic cards.

When I plug in any removable drive into my USB 2.0 port, Windows starts the installation of the device driver software and then sees it as an unknown device. The dialog where he asks me if I want to 'locate and install driver software', 'Ask Me later' or 'don't show this message for this device.

I select the recommended option: "locate and install driver software.

I click 'Continue' when Windows asks me permission to continue.

Then, when the execution of the installer of the software in the bottom right of my screen, the installation of driver software for device, it shows "unidentified device failed.

Then another window pops up saying this:

"Found New Hardware - device unknown".

Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.

    Kodak

An error occurred during the installation of the device:

The driver for this device is missing a necessary entry. Maybe it's because the file INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.

If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit their website and check the support section for driver software. »

That's what he does when I'm trying to connect my Kodak Easyshare M550 digital camera. I would go ahead and contact Kodak, but the problem seems to extend to ANY removable device on my computer.

For example, I have a Lexar Flashdrive. When I plug it into my USB 2.0 port, it Windows says the following:

"Windows needs to install driver software for your USB Flash Drive", etc...

'Install the device driver software', 'USB Flash Drive search Windows Update'...

Then a window opens asking me to "insert the disk that came with your USB key. Problem is that no driver disk not supplied with the hardware that Windows Vista is supposed to come with the drivers. I know this because the camera and usb flash drive worked very well until I reinstalled Windows Vista on my new hard drive (new installation, because my old hard drive crashed) and I've NEVER had to install device drivers for Windows to recognize it as a removable drive and operate automatically.

Also, I installed Daemon Tools Lite and I had to manually "Update" the device driver to point to the "Windows\INF" folder in my hard drive, after copying the cdrom files needed for the specific subfolders for windows to let the program assign a drive letter for the drive virtual it creates.

I think that perhaps not all device drivers have been installed when I installed Windows Vista, this time. If that's the problem, I don't know how that could happen, nor how to fix it, but I really prefer to find a way to solve this problem without reinstalling Windows Vista again. I don't mind not manually install the drivers as long as someone can show me what files to copy and where to find them on the Windows Vista disk that I bought at Microsoft. I KNOW that Windows HAS come with these drivers.

If anyone knows how I can fix this, please tell me, because it's ridiculous to not be able to use any removable device readers (except for the use of all Flash drives). Thanks in advance.

I know it can be frustrating to solve problems.

  • Driver Installation Failed: Could not find media device for this driver

I have a HP with Windows Vista (32 bit) dv6646us and have had a problem with the audio device. The sound works sometimes, but above all the system does not even recognize the audio output device (in this case, I see the speaker icon in the taskbar with a cross mark). Another model is that the laptop does not recognize the audio device, but no sound is produced (in this case, the "speaker" icon doesn't have the cross mark). When the system has at least recognize the audio device, I can solve the problem by using the Microsoft Fix it 50131. However, when the system does not recognize the audio device, nothing seems to work. When I go into Device Manager, there is no sound, not just a pilot section. The laptop is supposed to use Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver, but when I try to install it, I get the following message: failure of the driver Installation: Media not found device for this driver.

In another forum, someone has solved the same problem in a system with the 32-bit version of XP by downgrading his memory from 4 GB to 2 GB, based on his knowledge that a 32-bit system cannot take 4 GB of RAM (it has started having the problem after that first, he upgraded the RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB). However, I don't know if the same applies to my problem because the sound system sometimes works with the current system with 4 GB of RAM and also my laptop is supposed to hold up to 4 GB of RAM (and he does not the 4 GB of RAM). So, I was wondering if there is another possibility for a cause and a solution to this problem.

    Hello

    ·         If it works well before? If so, remember to do recent changes on the computer before this problem?

    ·         Do you think the audio device when there is no X on the volume icon?

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:

You can follow this section "By my speakers is crackled or distorted" in the link below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

    Method 2:

If the previous step fails, uninstall and reinstall the audio drivers completely, follow the steps below:

    a. click Start, type Device Manager in the Start Search box and press ENTER.

    b. click continue. The Device Manager dialog box appears.

    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

    d. in r management device, right click on audio and its driver and click on uninstall.

    e. install the last driver audio drivers on the manufacturer's Web site.

    Method 3:

If the previous step fails, follow the steps described in the following link:

  • How can I get an installer for Windows Vista drive?

    Need windows on a drive!

I want to perform a new installation of this version of windows on my laptop that there have been some problems (multiple annoying windows error codes) and want to start over. Hello

Contact Acer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

    https://secure.TX.Acer.com/rcdb/main.aspx?brand=Acer

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or ACER Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

  • Not detected at all IDE drives

OK, because of my most recent thread, I was forced to pull a 3.5 "IDE HDD in my office in an enclosure for backup. The backup went perfectly, no damage detected in all. Then, I pulled the IDE cable in the Office for the CD player because he got in the way of the installation of the HD. I pulled by plastic, not the Ribbon. He slipped effortlessly, and the installation of what I had done several times previously worked perfectly. Until I started, that is. The computer has done is the automatic test sequence, but I noticed that the CD players and HARD disk are missing from the list of installed devices. I have no other devices, so I went into the BIOS to be sure. Synthesis system said, all IDE drives were "not installed". All cables are firmly in place, has not changed in the BIOS except the boot sequence. I need to install Windows on this HARD drive, I can not do because the CD player is also out. Help, please!
