  I managed to get a reference to an element of the ADF by following the documentation. What I am now struggling with is to trigger the click event programmatically on this component.

  Use cases

  When a user clicks on a button (which is inside the showDetailitem), the parent panel collapses and the next panel must open upwards. The button is just another way to trigger the Panel click behavior.

  Thanks for the suggestions guys. The only reason why I use javascript is because I have virtually no knowledge in JAVA/Beans. I am more a guy script and therefore wanted to achieve the same using client-side scripts instead of having to go to the side server.

  in any case, I managed to solve it, but I had to take a different route. What I did was the target node parent of the button, and then set its property disclosed to false.

• Cs4 vertical Configurator Panel resize limit

  Maybe this has been mentioned before, but when I try to make a custom for photoshop Cs4, Panel

  the Group seems to have a vertical limit when resizing which is much more than what I initially created.

  For example, this one was created in 71 x 94 and cannot be resized vertically more that the screenshot.

  Anchored or not is the same

  

  I also tried other sizes for the original Panel.

  Someone has an idea?

  There is a "resize" bug in the Configurator 1.0.

  When you export a Panel and open it the first time, Panel to resize the width and height you assigned as cromaline say, after first Panel only is not resized, given that photoshop will remember last size of your Panel.

  But if you resize it in a larger size exceeds the size by default photoshop (220 * 220), when next time launch photoshop

  Photoshop will remember this size, then you can't resize it smaller.

  There is a solution

  on Windows, system go to folder C: \Documents and Settings\

  Look in the "PanelSizeStore.sol" file and delete it.

  Then restart photoshop, you can see the Panel resize to your original size.

• The triggering event programmatically

  My front panel has two buttons and two digital indicators.  By clicking on a button increments the value of the corresponding indicator.  I would like to than Button2 to increase his meter and the shutter Button1.ValueChanged.

  In other languages (ie: VB.NET), I can raise an event manually (ie: myBtn.PerformClick)

  What is the standard way / best practices to programmatically trigger an event (in my case, a close button value change event) in LabVIEW?

  As described in many other positions, you use the Value property of a signalling.

  Is it possible to programmatically trigger the move bar graph event?  Assign a value to the Index of the cursor or the property node Cursor Position does not seem to do.

  Create a user and set up the case of the event which handles the cursor movement to handle that event as well. Then fire this event when the data updated?

  I use a table with a dynamic context menu. I would like to show a right-click context menu with a left-click instead. Is it possible to generate an activation of the context menu event?

  Use the mouse to the bottom? event (note the question mark) and use the terminals on the right to change the button 2 (or any) what should be the value of the RMB. This will transform a left-click in a straight line.

• Resize controls programmatically during execution

  I have a series of controls on a GUI and a GUI I want to be able to resize according to the machine that is running the program.

  Basically, my logic is this. A GUI can fill the available display space, but not all, and must never be directed at a screen that is not designed for.

  Currently my laptop is having display problems and keep chaning the resolution thus masking the parts of my GUI.

  I want to resize (and place all controls visible and indicators - I know that those to whom they are) so that my GUI appears in a space about some default screen resolutions. (800 x 600, 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024)

  I can get the position and the limits of control, but I can't change the boundaries of a control (generic) with the property node. It's frustrating. one of my being a listbox controls large multicolumn who takes the largest part of the screen and really need resize according to the resolution of the screen.

  Any ideas?

  Your immediate problem is change the size of a control is available only through specific property (and not generic) nodes.  Use the function "to the more specific" in the palette controls App to convert the reference type.  If the generic reference does not mention this reference type, it will return an error.

  Here's the code that changes all MCLs on public Service 100x200px

  Since you say that you know who controls that you want to change, you can do created references, too.

  

• reference, triggering case value change event

  I have 2 VI, it has a switch on it and one for the event that watches for a change in value on the toggle switch and if it detects one it turns on a light.

  The second VI reference the first VI and reference of the toggle switch.  This second VI I wish I could switch on or off and have the case of the event in the other VI do its thing.

  This is not the case.  The same case is not catching the failover when I do for one another VI referencing the switch

  is there a workaround to do, a way to make the case event notice that the reference value changes without having to not to use the case of the event?

• Hovering over the triggers Drop Down Menu event "mouse Leave"

  Hi, if anyone can help with this problem, I would be very grateful.

  I have a tab control changing to another page when the user enters or mouse leaves the tab control. The purpose of this is so that the tab control becomes invisible when colored 'transparent', according to the movement of the user's mouse. This allows the full screen to use to display the video when the menus are not necessary, and menus can be displayed when the user enters into the surface of the tab. There is also a button to lock the menu in place.

  It worked fine until I added a few rings of text to a menu tab. When the user clicks on the drop-down arrow and hovers over the elements, the case of the event as if the mouse has left the tab control, tab resets back to page 1 (white page). I don't want to do it, but I still want to use the drop down menus because they are more concise and more convenient than the alternatives (listboxes, etc.). This does not happen with the buttons and other controls, only with the drop-down menus, AFAIK.

  Can anyone suggest a work around? I chose this method of relaxation because it is less demanding in processor using the mouse move event coordinates to trigger the tabs appear. I need to save so much time processor for video capture possible. I enclose my vi (Labview 2010 32-bit) with the gray tabs so you can see and test the value for yourself.

  I would add one for the event to "Operate the Menu Activation" for the controls of the ring.  This simply fuels a real constant in a shift register in time loop.  In the mouse enter and leave events add a case structure and change the pages only when the value Boolean false.  Ensure that supply the true value in the registry to offset in the mouse leave case also (other cases may use the Default of False if you don't have to string wires in all cases).

  Quick MOD after extraction of the stuff IMAQ, remove also the delay in case of loop Structure, provides it ARE necessary delays.

• Synchronization of AO and output counter, arming and triggering the sequence of events

  I'm trying to synchronize a counter (used as a digital pulse) and analogue of a custom waveform output read from the file on a USB-6211. The goal is to always have these running until I hit 'STOP' and to be able to change the position of the pulse relative to each other. I created a VI by combining and modifying the Cont.Gen.Wfm.Int - Clk.Non - Regen.VI and the Continous.VI Gen dig Pulse Train and I'm now able to produce the two signals to the desired frequency, but I can't seem to get the "Initial period" to work correctly. The values that I come home do not seem to match what is happening LeRiz, and the spacing seems to vary from run to run (within each series is constant). In a previous post, Alfred has suggested:

  "Trigger counter outputs out of the trigger to start AO and adjusting the setting 'Initial period' should give you what you are looking for."  Don't forget to start the tasks of meter in the software before the tasks of the AO (if they are armed and ready to go before the start AO is sent). »

  I tried to use the controls and the propertynodes (perhaps incorrectly), but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

  I think what happens is that my arms and firing sequence is not done correctly. I read on as much information as I could about the outbreak and armament, but I don't know that I understand correctly. Most of the examples I found using an external trigger or perform analog input tasks finished. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to start my two tasks in the proper order? Is something else is wrong here?

  Hi Gabe,

  This is a cleaned of the VI version that should work (you need not adjust the initial deadline on the right fly?).  Instead of reading a file, I made just a simple square wave of 50% to be used for the test.

  I couldn't make it work by using binding.

  There may be a better way to do it, but I got it by assigning them to kBindNone and moving the button panel resize events:

  First of all, make sure that you have a custom class for display in your control panel.

  Annotate in the file en for boss of the Group widget class with:

  IID_ICONTROLVIEW, kMyPanelViewImpl,

  Add the definitions of ID, list of factory etc. and put in place a class MyPanelView (or whatever you want to call it...), derived from PanelView, for this implementation

  Then your class of MyPanelView, put in place since the function of resizing as below:

  I have a program that fits very well with some screen resolutions, I the "scale all the objects on the façade" selected. Is there a way to disable this option programmatically? I would like the user to be able to make the window smaller if you wish, but force the window to achieve if it is small enough.

  Desire:

  (1) to start the program: expanded PS, objects of scale to allow different resolutions

  (2) the user resizes the window, turn off "resize objects with the size of the window. Keep the current sizes and spacing, forcing the user to scroll.

  I think you can accomplish your desired behavior with a combination of the Panel Resize event and the method of the scale:

  

• Change Panel vi limits that other vi is resized

  I VI B inside a secondary (automatic resizing with component) on VI A. I try programmatically resize VI B in VI A resizing so I can see all B VI in the secondary. It works fine except VI B is resized WHILE I'm resizing VI A. This is expected behavior, but it creates a lot of flicker. I want only resize VI B after that VI A resized. Similar to the 'Scale when resizing objects' property of a component. Is there a solution for this? I was hoping there would be a resize for the secondary event, but there isn't.

  You can register for the Resize event of VI A Panel, if the limits of the old and the new Panel are equal, is that resizing is finished.

  I develop GUI which needs to look nice and the user will have the option to resize. Since the ladder under the window property fails, I wanted to use the resize Panel event.

  But there is delay - controll is resized some time after I resize the front panel and that seems bad. When I look at the list of window or error of project it will resize instantly.

  Why I can't get this result in Labview?

  I could always sign size leash read say every 10ms and calculate the size of ontrolls on this basis, but is there best option by using this resize event Panel?

  It should be more or less obvious that this parameter means when used.  If you set a control to fit the pane and then resize this component, it does not wait for the mouse to start resizing it it will resize for each pixel the mouse movement.

• Memory retains increaing and this VI a lot of resizing of memory allocation events

  This application increases slowly the memory and after 12 hours, I'll get labview for error memory. With the desktop execution Trace Tool kit, I found Vi (attached) is called a lot and a lot of memorry allocate, free one resize events.

  I have this Aplication but I see that the reference is not closed, I do not see the leaks of reference on the destkop trace Toolkit

  guys do you have an idea what could be?

  After 17 hours and 47 minutes the progam still works. These reference was the problem. they appear to be leaks of reference on the trail of the funds taken kit until I closed the program.
