  I've never had a serious problem with my Toshiba laptop before and now I need a little help.

  Your best bet is to just uninstall. I found that it is a useless application; It only tells you that what your OS tells you so there is no real need of it. When uninstalled your connection will be managed by your operating system and that there should be no other problems.

  When I try to run Radar, window starts to set up Toshiba ConfigFree, but a message pops up sayiing component that I'm trying to use is on an unavailable network resource.

  It tells me to enter a different path on a file MADE the installation package "TOSHIBA ConfigFree.msi" but I can't find this file-
  I found the folder Toshiba ConfigFree but there is nothing in it.

  I tried to search all the files ending with .msi - nothing works.

  Why you n t visit the page of European River to Toshiba and download Toshiba ConfigFree tool.
  Then remove the old ConfigFree of the operating system, restart the laptop and reinstall the app again.

  TOSHIBA Power Saver for W - XP cannot be installed.
  Installation error messages: fatal error, abandoned facility. 0x2
  Try to remove the part which is installed (visible in Add/Remove Programs), gives the same error message 0 x 2.

  Under programs > Toshiba only the help file 'Power Saver Help' is visible, but is not accessible.

  I m not very well why the Utility of Toshiba ConfigFree has stopped working, but I can tell you how you can solve this problem.
  I think simple installation ConfigFree could solve this annoying problem.

  How the product?
  First download easy all the utility driver page ConfigFree Toshiba UE
  http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU
  Please pay attention to the version. There is a ConfigFree utility for 32-bit system and 64-bit.

  After the ConfigFree utility has been downloaded, uninstall the previous software installed.
  In Control Panel-> programs & features, you should find the ConfigFree
  After the tool has been uninstalled, restart the laptop

  Toshiba U.S. and Toshiba Canada provides some Vista drivers for simple models and series, but it seems that the Tecra A4 is not listed.

  I don't know why the Setup error appears, but I wouldn't reinstall this tool m.
  You can find it on the page of the Toshiba driver A100 section.
  But there are 3 different satellite A100, so be sure that you have chosen the right way.

  2.i think that FN keys don t work because you have disabled some important tools Toshiba they are necessary for the FN keys. For FN keys TOSHIBA button Support and TOSHIBA Flash Cards startup items are absolutely necessary, so you should allow them and restart the computer.

• Satellite Pro M70: Configfree and Wlan with WEP issue.

  Firstly the Toshiba Configfree program is not software for the WLan configuration.
  This program, you can use for the diagnostic procedure and it shows you the connection properties. But it of not possible to set the cipher with the Configfree.
  It seems that the IntelProset utility has a bad influence on the Configfree. The problem is that Toshiba doesn't support any 3rd party applications.

  Furthermore if this card doesn t WLan supports WEP encryption so you can not use it.
  WEP encryption, you can set in the WLan card properties.
  You also use the 3rd party WLan application like IntelProset or Atheros utility to configure the WiFi network but encryption depends on the WLan card not on the utility!

  I recently had to return my laptop to get a defective hard drive replaced and have found it difficult to re - install all drivers for W2K. I don't hold any recovery CD.

  After installing W2K, Manager of devices has about 11 items requiring pilots (and a single unknown device). Device Manager now seems to be correct, but I still have problems with the Modem (Toshiba Software Modem). The diagnostics tab reports that the modem could not open a port.

• Libretto U100 - modules uncounted after disk upgrade

  Please help me find the solution or dedicated instead of U100 service.

  It is a case:
  I bought the Libretto U100 of some guy (his property), booklet assembled with 30 GB and 512 RAM... I changed the RAM to 1 GB and ask my it guy (friend) to change disk... everything went well...

  After the change, I installed a version of winmx... with all the taken drivers support Toshiba (u100 drivers)... one of them has been updated BIOS level...

  After all, I found that my manager material showing an error... mass storage (yellow marks not informing - no drivers), module Ethernet (not even driver) and fire wire (133smth) who cannot not start this service to inform...
  At the same time, I found that Ethernet is probably Wi - Fi which are not recognized by Windows XP (switch works and led goes on or off depending on my action)...

  What to do with it? Is there any «wise» service in my part of Europe (Poland)?
