  I had high hopes for the implementation of direct connection but quickly realized there was matter, that your IP address is exposed via Skype. This setting masked the problem for less than a week.
  
  It is unfortunate that people have to use using a proxy to protect their privacy when using Skype, but if it works I am happy for you. In the end I had to exit Skype entirely to other VOIP services, as privacy has become a requirement for work
