True object of road-identifiers

Hi all

I have a small question about the route identifiers.  In a cloud of PSI using MP-iBGP VPNv4 for exploitation of customer routes, must the route identifiers on different routers EP (each repair the same client at different locations) have the same identifiers of road on the different PE routers VRF?

Secondly, the road-identifiers are transported in MP - BGP VPNv4 commercials?  I guess that sums it up to... What is the real purpose of the road-identifiers.

Any ideas would be very useful!

David

Hello David,.

do the route-distinguishers on different PE routers (each servicing the  same customer at different locations) need to have the same route  distinguishers on the VRFs of the different PE routers?

Route identifiers (RDs) values can be largely arbitrary. Must be unique for different VRF on the EP even, but for two correspondents VRF on two different PEs, they may or may not be the same, it does not really matter. In simpler deployments, they may be the same, but in the largest virtual private networks, or more complex, it is more likely that they differ.

Secondly, are route-distinguishers carried in MP-BGP VPNv4 advertisments?

Yes, they are, in the context of network addresses al who are in a particular VRF and are advertised to other PEs.

Let me explain the process of advertising routes to one PE in the other and let me start first by talking about the other attribute configured in the VRF - target of the road (RT).

The RT is a BGP attribute of a route - technically, it is an attribute of the enlarged community. Be an attribute means that this value is a property of the road which specifies how it should be treated, but is not a part of the network address of the road or the mask. It is included with the announcement of this network to a BGP peer but similar to other BGP attributes (next hop, and preferably local, metric AS_PATH, etc.), it's just a property of the announced network, not a part of the address. Some BGP attributes need not always to be present, or may be present multiple times in a update for a road. The RT is especially used to say in what VRF the particular route can be imported. Say that a road has an export RT to 1:1 and 1:2 means that the road can be imported to a VRF that matters with 1:1 or 1:2 routes.

The presence of the RT and the possibility of having several RTs for a single update allowing great flexibility in design with several places MPLS VPNs and the partial visibilities between them. However, considering only the RTs do not.

Consider two VRF on a single router, V1 and V2, each of them containing a single network 10.0.0.0/8. For the moment, assume that there is no concept of Dr. If BGP sends the roads of this router to a peer, he always sends them in a certain order. Suppose that the first flights sent are those of a VRF, say V1, then roads since a different VRF, say V2, are announced.  V1 use RT to 1:1, V2 use RT to 1:2.

Now, imagine how BGP updates would look on the wire: firstly, an update comes, saying that there is a network 10.0.0.0/8 valued RT 1:1.  What would the router of neighborhood? She would put the route in the corresponding VRF V1. Now, a second update is available in (or a second entrance to the single update is transformed) and guess what - it is said that there is the same network 10.0.0.0/8, just with the RT 1:2 the value. If the neighborhood router, how? It would consider this second update to be a replacement of the previous update - the same network, but different attributes. So, it would delete the 10.0.0.0/8 network of the VRF V1 and add it to VRF V2!

This would happen because for BGP, the network and its subnet mask were key in its database. An update of a network is carried out simply by sending the update on this network once again, with the new attributes specified explicitly. There is no need to remove first the road. And because BGP does not see the difference between the network 10.0.0.0/8 of V1 and V2 10.0.0.0/8, it merges because he thinks that the information on the same network just updated.

This was RD comes in - by extending the official network for all roads address in a particular VRF using a single value. If V1 has the RD also set to 1:1 (it may very well be different from RTs and generally that is) and V2 RD 1:2 the value, then the road to V1 is announced as 1:1:10.0.0.0/8 while the same path of V2 will be announced as 1:2:10.0.0.0/8. For BGP, it is now clear that these two networks is not the same. The trick here is to use the RD to temporarily extend the IP addresses of the network in a VRF with unique values to work around the BGP networks identical-looking attitude. However, the RD is not used to sort routes in different VRF receiving them through BGP and exists only within the communication of the BGP.

So said RT in can VRF has road and eventually will be imported.  RD support BGP understand that this a VRF X network is not the same as the network X from a different VRF. Both RT and RD have the same format, but it is their only similarity. RD must be present only once in each VRF on a simple PE and must be unique. RT must be present at least once in each VRF and does not need to be unique (if VRF route leaking is desired). RD becomes part of the network address in the BGP updates, RTs are transported as attributes of these networks. RDs are never used to sort the routes between VRF - that is the purpose of the RTs. This is also the reason why the RD may or may not be the same in the two corresponding VRF on two different PEs - in fact, it does not matter.

Please feel welcome to ask for more!

Best regards

Peter

    Yes, you can view this information in the BlackBerry JDE for Eclipse.  To do this, click in the window menu of Eclipse, then view and select other...  The development of BlackBerry and select the view you want to see (the memory, the view object statistics or profiler)).

  • referring to an object in a repeating subform

    Trying to get the value of a text field in a repeating subform (lets call it the subform "Identify") of my form to be set to the value of "TextField18" in the corresponding instance of Subform subform 'groups '.

    In more detail:

    In the form, I ask the question - groups how do you have? The number of this answer is the number of instances of the subform 'Groups' that I have. Within this subform is a text field ("text Field18") where the user will enter the name of the group.

    Later, in a completely different section of the same shape, I have a subform called "identify." I understand how to set the number of instances of "Identify" to match the number of instances of 'groups '. I want to do is have a field 'Identify' display the name of each group (as he entered "TextField18" in the "Groups" subform) - one per instance of the subform.  So if the groups were in Orange, red and purple entered instances of 1-3 respectively on the subform "Groups". I want the field 1 of the "Itentify" subform to autopopulate with Orange and the field in case 2 of autopopulate pending with red and so on.

    Is this possible?  All advice is appreciated!

    Hello

    Your repeated subforms, groups and identify, will have a property index to identify their appearance.  Thus, in the case of calculation of the object textfield to identify using JavaScript place the following code;

    xfa.resolveNode ("groups [" + Identify.index +"]. TextField18") .rawValue;

    This will return the corresponding value in the subforms of groups.  Note You may need to adjust the SOM expression if the groups and identify them are not at the same level.

  • QTP automation

    Dear all,

    I am using QTP 10.0 + Flex Builder 3.02 + Flex of QTP plug-in.

    QTP is able to identify all the object and its working very well. Still inside the gray of the object data is identified as labels, I am not able to use options like GetCelldata, Rowcount, ColumnCount etc since all the elements of the grid are identified as labels I'm not able to click and modify operations in rows and column values.

    Anyone deal with this issues, please help me to solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Spengler

    You may have already solved this problem, but it is possible to get the number of rows by using the GetItemsCount of QTP function.  If you find the value in an individual cell, you can enter the data in each row and send it in a table using "split" and then search.  Here is an example:

    'get the number of rows in the table.
    rowCount = Browser ("Browser"). FlexApplication ("App"). FlexApplication ("FlexClient"). FlexPanel ("FlexPanel"). FlexCanvas ('App Home'). FlexPanel ("search results"). FlexDataGrid ("searchResults"). GetItemsCount

    userFound = FALSE

    MyRow = rowCount 1
    'Select the line.
    Browser ("browser"). FlexApplication ("App"). FlexApplication ("FlexClient"). FlexPanel ("FlexPa nel"). FlexCanvas ("AppHome"). FlexPanel ("search results"). FlexDataGrid ("searchResults"). SelectIndex (myRow-1) ' indices start at 0
    "get the content of the data in the row (the columns are separated pipes).
    rowData = Browser ("Browser"). FlexApplication ("App"). FlexApplication ("FlexClient"). FlexPanel ("FlexPa nel"). FlexCanvas ('App Home'). FlexPanel ("search results"). FlexDataGrid ("searchResults"). GetROProperty ("selecteditem")
    ' declare the row data
    Reporter.ReportEvent micDone, ' search result line ' & myRow, rowData
    "split row data in a table: one element per column.
    aRowData = split(rowData,"|")

    "If the user name column corresponds to what we want to select
    If myUser <> "" then
    "the strings must match exactly
    If trim (aRowData (0)) = myUser can
    userFound = TRUE

           ========================

           Narrow is basically the same as the above wide screen browser except that this lets
           the sidebar column (filter column) in list view be pushed down or up in layout flow
           to make room for the main column (table column) when the window is not wide enough.
           It is done by setting margin-left and padding-left of main column to 0 and setting
           max-width of main column, which is currently 1019px.  Consequently, if window width
           is less than 1265px (= 40 (margin-left) + 1019 (main column) + 166 (sidebar colum)
           + 40 (margin-right)), sidebar column is pushed down or up according to document
           tree order. This rule set is intended to be useful for normal to narrow window
           whose width is in range ca. 700-1400px. It can be used for wider window as well but
           there's no point to set the max-width of main column in order to move sidebar
           column when the window is wide enough.

  • MacBook Pro hangs (black screen). How can I fix it?

    Hello!

    I have a MacBook Pro 15', with the 10.6.8 System.

    About 1 year and a half, the screen started to turn black from time to time - quite often in fact - and I need to restart the computer.

    He stopped for a while when I spent of Chrome for Firefox, but began a few months ago.

    Often when I'm on the internet, but sometimes with other software too.

    Model is MacBook Pro 6.2 but it is not supposed to be in the faulty set.

    It has been tested twice in an Apple Center, but they could not reproduce the problem.

    Here's a copy of the report in error.

    Can I do to solve the problem?

    You said "model is MacBook Pro 6.2 but it is not supposed to be in the defective series.".  This is not true.  The model identifier 6.2 was a replacement for the defective discrete GPU program.  The solution is a replacement of the logic board, or as a temporary measure to use this app to disengage the discrete GPU:

    https://gfx.IO/

    You can remove the following software and see if the panic stop:

    Also, disconnect all devices and see if the panic stop.  Then add them individually to determine who is the "problem child".

    Ciao.

  • Satellite P500-1CK - WIFI does not work

    Hello

    I bought a Satellite P500-1CK with Windows 7 64 bit. Cause I don't need, I replaced it with Windows 7 32 bit and now my WIFI does not work.

    I tried many drivers, Toshiba drivers and Realtek drivers, old and new versions. Installed and uninstalled them again and again. But it does not work. In the Device Manager, there is no error and no question mark. The map will be displayed as a RTL 8191SE, it's true. I've identified the vendor & device ID also.
    The other FN keys works like a charm, but FN + F8 does not appear. The wireless switch is active and the led is orange.

    When I type "cmd" then "ipconfig/all" it will be only shown the PCI Atheros Gigabit Adapter with the IP address, but not the adapter WLAN of Realtek.

    Searched Google @ and spend hours and hours, but I am at my wits end... Please help me.

    funthomas22

    Hi funthomas22,

    And this doesn t work exactly?

    You see a WLAN in range?
    Have you looked for WLAN networks?
    Can you connect to WIFI networks?

    A point would be interesting: can you try the same thing with preinstalled Windows 7 64 bits instead of your own 32-bit installation?
    Therefore, use the recovery disk Toshiba to restore the version of the OS preinstalled. You will have a pre-tested Toshiba Windows 7 installation where everything should work properly.

  • Plot XY to polar trace

    The plot required is a polar plot to draw the objectives is to identify a radar detector. I traced a XY Chart with coordinates obtained remotely and measures of angles.

    I want to draw this positions X and Y in the polar plot. Source to the XY graph is a cluster of 2 elements while the connection to the Polar curve needs a picture 1 d of the cluster. The individual data are table 1 d of double and make a bundle does not solve the problem.

    Please let me know how to build the polar plot with distance and angle data.

    Kind regards

  • Compellent SAN - replacement of disks not assigned

    I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem with my compellent san. I had a hard drive crash and bought a replacement, when I put it in it sees the drive, but it is not attributed. When I'm going to assign it to the folder I get an error message "an error has occurred trying to mark it as the object of spare (identified as" ") Impossible to spare 24 disc unclassified." Is there something that I am missing? This unit is a little older and dell no longer supports readers. I'd like suggestions on this.

    Thank you

    Bryan

    You get a player who "belong" in your system.

    I got replacement disks sent me (under load)

    they came in the older disk for envelopes «Xyratex» caddy

    I swapped the caddy of disk with the failed drive from the SC200.

    The HDS did not recognize this drive. bad manufacturer error if I remember correctly.

    they sent a replacement which came in a Dell disk caddy and it worked as expected.

    Firmware of the drive...?

    All old drive will not work.

    (if they did I would buy the Seagate Constellation 3TO 7.2 k drives online for $300 instead of nearly $ 1000 Dell!)

  • Download objectName of the point made in the method of the slot

    Hello

    Is it possible to get objectName of the element that the slot is related to when the method of the slot (in my case onTabClicked) is called?

    My link with the slot looks like this:

    QObject::connect (tabImage, SIGNAL (touch (bb::cascades:TouchEvent *)),)
    SLOT (onTabClicked (bb::cascades:TouchEvent *)));

    I have some images generated by the same method and inserted in a container via C++ and all will call the onTabClicked method when they are hit. I would like to set the visibility of another picture in the same container, but for this I need an object name to identify the image I want to manipulate.

    Hope I did my question clear enough, thanks for any help

    Found a solution in the example of Kakel

    ImageView * senderImage = dynamic_cast(sender());

  • Consume Webservice - java.io.IOException: General socket error

    Hey,.

    I'm trying to consume a webservice ( www.webservicex.net, but also tried other forecasts) with a smart blackberry phone, but I still have a java.io.IOException.

    I generated stubs with the Java Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2. Now, I call the heel of the Java application.

    My MDS is running and are configured for use with my proxy. I can view each page with the built-in browser.

    The call of the stub works like this:

    public class BB_WeatherStart extends MainScreen {

       public BB_WeatherStart() throws RemoteException {
        com.weather.WeatherForecasts weather = null;
        WeatherForecastSoap_Stub stub = new WeatherForecastSoap_Stub();
        weather = stub.getWeatherByZipCode("10024");

        LabelField longi = new LabelField();
        longi.setText("Longitüde" + weather.getLongitude());
        add(longi);

        LabelField status = new LabelField();
        status.setText("Status" + weather.getStatus());
        add(status);
       }

    }

    The instantiation of the stub works, but the call of the method getWeatherByZipCode returns this exception.

    This is the code for the method:

    public com.weather.WeatherForecasts getWeatherByZipCode(java.lang.String zipCode) throws java.rmi.RemoteException {

       Object[] inputObject = new Object[1];
       inputObject[0] = zipCode;

       Operation op = Operation.newInstance(_qname_GetWeatherByZipCode, _type_GetWeatherByZipCode, _type_GetWeatherByZipCodeResponse);
       _prepOperation(op);
       op.setProperty(Operation.SOAPACTION_URI_PROPERTY, "http://209.162.186.60/GetWeatherByZipCode;deviceSide=true");

       Object resultObj;
       try {
          resultObj = op.invoke(inputObject);
       } catch (JAXRPCException e) {
        throw e;
       }

    //Snip.. the Rest of the method is never reached ;)

    }

    The Exception is thrown in the call to op.invoke (inputObject);

    I also tried the hostname instead of IP address, but then I get a j "" ava.io.IOException: bad DNS address "and if I try without the"; " deviceSide = true' I get the message "Local port: 19780 APN:"rim.net.gprs"APN username: password 'null' AFN: there is no connection"null"

    Thanks for your help

    Tina

    After watching a little I don't think that the original problem was with the connection I think it is related to a null value returned by the web service.  I generated a set of stubs from the web service, you were using and tried with the same result as you.  I got a version of 4.5 and made some settings (I don't specifically know who he was) and the error has become ' java.rmi.MarshalException: nillable not element of array in response type is not met. ".  Went up to version 4.7 and here it works very well.  If you run this with a test tool web service call, you see a null of WeatherData to the bottom element which is the likely culprit.  I read somewhere that BB do not have NULL values in some earlier versions.

    hope that helps.

  • How to create the mapping for creation of partner

    Can someone help me how to create a record of partner in the sales cloud Oracle? or can someone help me the soap message to create the partner! I was with ICS to integrate the SFDC to CSOS using ICS I need to map the required fields to create the synchronization partner record. We have mandatory fields for the creation of partner OrgName, address, contact details, but if we see the mappings we have three different complex objects < orgParty >, < primaryLocation >, < partner > but the mandatory fields are available in several complex objects how to identify which fields need to map?

  • OracleDB change notification privilege causing long commits to autonomous WLS

    Hello world

    12.1.2 Jdev

    I am facing a strange problem. Currently, my application requires that I re - run queries to view activation object in order to maintain the sort order. Sometimes, this causes an exception that is thrown indicating that the record ID does not exist or that it was unable to register/cancel a request for notification of change of the view object database. After doing some research, this problem has been resolved by granting the privilege to "change notification" to the database user that uses my application.  Test went well on the integrated WLS.

    Problems occurred after deployment on a stand-alone test server. The application works as expected until a commit operation is called.  The validation operation takes a long time (30-40 seconds instead of 1 to 2 seconds before).  Not only this, after re-polling of data after a commit, I'm starting to get the same exceptions that I mentioned above.

    After the revocation of the privilege to change notification validation problems disappear.

    What setting differences might be the cause for it? The driver of the DB used on the standalone WLS is oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver.

    Thanks for reading.

    Lance

    Found the cause.  For some reason, I had the autoRefresh of the view set to true object property. As this was my first project ADF, I must have been messing around with random parameters before I knew what I was doing.  ADF 12.1.3 gave me a warning message in the ViewObject.xml but 12.1.2 does not.  To be honest, even I knew not that this existence far property.  Affecting false property fixed my issues. Thanks for the tip of 12.1.3 upgrade. It has not solved the problem, but it led to the solution!
