Trusteer missing in Firefox Version 42 icon

After updating Firefox to the 42 version and download Trusteer report for Mac - El Capitan, report of Trusteer icon in is no longer visible in the address bar.

It would seem that the last version of Firefox (42.0) is not yet compatible with Trusteer report program. This means that the addon does not work on Firefox 42.0 and has been automatically disabled when the update was made to Firefox.

Mozilla is not liable to create or maintain the Trusteer report software. Please advise developers Trusteer report of the problem and they can bring an update to their software.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done from our end. sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

  • Trusteer lost in firefox 41 report icon

Firefox itself automatically upgraded to version 41 and now the Trusteer report Endpoint Protection is no longer displayed to the right of the address bar. It's still there and active in Internet Explorer. The same situation happening on 2 PCs, Windows 7 64 bit.

Surely Trusteer report is a service widely used - you would think that a new version of Firefox would have been tested to work with him.

It is used for the developer of an extension to ensure that the extension continues to operate in a next version of Firefox.
There is beta and developer special created for the test, so there should be plenty of time.

You will need to contact Trusteer for support and check if there is already an update.

Make sure you have the latest updates of your software Trusteer.

Firefox 9 bookmarks icons have disappeared. This seems to have occurred after update to version 9 for Mac Firefox. I have only a few Add-ons, that must not come into conflict with the display of icons. Bookmark menu bar icons still display, but not in the bookmarks dropdown.

This is a bug in Firefox 9. Here is how to fix until we have to fix:

    1. In the address bar, type about: config and press on return.

      • The subject: config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. #Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue on the subject: config page.
    2. In the filter section type, image.mem.decodeondraw
    3. Double-click the entry that results to change its value to "False".

== I tried to download the new version of firefox

When you download Firefox from mozilla.com, you download the DMG, not the app file. Opening of the DMG file is supposed to load the disk image, where you can drag the file Firefox app in your applications folder. See How to download and install Firefox on Mac.

So the question is why he will not remain in the dock. The app file must stay in your applications folder. Once you launch Firefox, an icon should appear in the dock. CTRL-click the icon in the dock. There should be a menu option "keep in dock".
