Try file TEMP shrink method locks the session PLSQL
Hello worldI'm working on a dev limited and had the surprise of a great TEMP server. DBF file after a query of cramps.
I want to reduce it, but did not find any dqtqbqse for her statement.
After several tests, the only method I can understand reading several forums is to remove/create the temp tablespace and file.
Using this script:
CREATE a TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp0
TEMPFILE 'H:\oraclexe\oradata\XE\temp0.dbf' SIZE 256M REUSE
AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 256M MAXSIZE 10G
EXTENT MANAGEMENT UNIFORM LOCAL 1 M SIZE;
ALTER DATABASE by DEFAULT TABLESPACE TEMPORARY temp0;
DROP TABLESPACE temp including CONTENTS AND DATA files;
Temp to CREATE a TEMPORARY TABLESPACE
TEMPFILE 'H:\oraclexe\oradata\XE\temp.dbf' SIZE 256M REUSE
AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 256M MAXSIZE 10G
EXTENT MANAGEMENT UNIFORM LOCAL 1 M SIZE;
ALTER DATABASE default TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp;
DROP TABLESPACE temp0 including CONTENT AND DATA files;
Step DROP TABLESPACE temp including CONTENTS AND DATA files; locks of my session and I leave with a Ctrl-C.
No idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you.
Fred
Depends on if any segments are still active or used by sessions, including yours.
Adding an another temporary tablespace can work, but be careful with the part 'reuse', you do want to try to crush a temporary file that has occupied so segments - use a name different tempfile for the new temporary tablespace tempfile.
If stopping and restarting the database are an option, which clears the segments of the kind in use in the temporary tablespace. As soon as the database opens, a "alter resize tempfile '... / temp01.dbf ' database 100M;" work could , I think that, if you can get the applied change before users start chewing space temp again.
Try a shrink on assets, default temp space is doubtful and will not work unless the user sessions are not held on all tempfile segments allocated for users.
And I'm not positive that the ' including CONTENT AND DATA files... "part is quite correct, may have to be '..." AND TEMPFILES. "but will check on that. And may not work unless all segments of the kind have been released.

The only way that you can rename the audio file from within hearing is to do a save slot of the display of waveform AFAIAA. You can rename clips by clicking in the name box at the top of the Properties window, or by right-clicking on the clip and selecting rename from the drop menu (this will automatically open the Properties window if it is not already open).

What effect resize file temp on primary does the database pending?
We have a weekly work on primary that resizes the temp tablespace.
STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = 'AUTO' so am I correct in the assumption that the changes will be transmitted and replicated standby, even if they are temporary files?
I'll live with DG in 2 weeks and continues to think about questions like this!
Thank youWritten to tempfiles are not connected, so are not shipped to the standby database. Entries in the temporary file on the primary causing the tempfile wish do not cause the tempfile on the eve of extend. TempFiles on standby can be added/removed/resized independently in primary, even with STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = 'AUTO '.
If the watch is purely for the recovery and remains permanently in managed recovery mode, then the day before will not even need a temporary file until after it has been activated in a situation of switching/switching.

The session class method "connect."
Hi all
Anyone know how the argument 'version' in the Connect method of the Session class becomes the PeopleTools version when connecting? I see in the PeopleSoft documentation, it is still defined as "1". However, how he took over the version of PeopleTools of the used psjoa.jar file? Any suggestions?
Session.Connect (version, {'EXISTING' | //PSoftApplicationServer:JoltPort}, user name, password, ExtAuth)
Here's what I'm trying to accomplish:
The below error raises the following when the PS tools connect with does not match what is on the application server. I like to know where to find the version number of PeopleTools on the web server, in the example below, it would be '8.51.16 '. Where is it stored? Is there a way I can call to retrieve this info?
Error:
Release of PeopleTools (8.51.16) for the web server "is not the same as the Application Server PeopleTools release (8.51.08). Access denied. ;
Thank you in advance!
ThoneSo after having read the two messages, I think that the solution of the other post corresponds to your need. Integrate you with PeopleSoft, the client gives you a copy of the psjoa.jar to deploy on your end. It is supposed to match their current version. You probably had problems where they sent you the wrong copy or you have deployed the wrong version somehow, and you want a way to validate the version against what they are running. When you refer to the version on the web server, you really mean the file psjoa.jar on deployed on your server. In which case, I gave you 2 solutions on the other thread.
If I got that wrong let me know and if not I think we can let this thread go now.
BTW: If you find my posts useful or answer your question, please report them accordingly. I'm trying to get out of the status of beginner and half of the people asking question never give points :)
Thank you

There are two ways to compress files in windows. Zip files and built-in file compression. It's built-in file compression. For more information on compression type zip in Start - Help and Support .
Photos, music and video are already compressed. They can get larger if Windows tries to compress it any further. Also usually a bad idea to compress system files.
If you have files of worksheet they can very well be compressed. If you have files, installation files, they can also be good candidates. Web pages are also good candidates.
In Windows Explorer, blue file names means Tablet (it is the file system compression not aka zip files compressed files). Green filename means Encrypted.
To disable file names colored, in Explorer - Tools menu (Alt + T)- display tab and then clear the check box for Show encrypted or compressed NTFS in color .
Windows compression, encryption and security to work for the most part by applying attributes to a folder and the files in the folder inherit the folder.
If you have all the files appropriate for compression, find them in solution, made Explorer right click - Properties - general -Advanced button tab - Compress contents to save disk space. Choose to apply to all files and folders when asked.

Hello
Was the HP works well before game console? If Yes, then do you remember any hardware/software changes, after which the problem started?
Method 1: I would say you put the computer to boot and then check if the problem is caused by any third-party application.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
Method 2: I would say as you uninstall and reinstall the HP game console and check to see if it helps:

My daughters Toshiba S955-S5373 went all green, she says while she helped the battery out. I didn't know she was in trouble. We tried to solve; However, Bad_system_config_info appears before diagnosing and resolving problems. After 4 hours, nothing has been resolved.
I found the DVD we created initially and attempted to load that. We shut down the laptop with the power and reverse holding F12 button. I tried to boot from the DVD, but it does not read the DVD and just crossed the initially to start and diagnose and solve problems. I have waited 2 hours, but without success.
I turned off again and I just tried to refresh the PC. He said "the drive where windows is installed is locked, unlock the drive and try again".
I then tried auto repair but could repair. Log file C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrao;/txt appeared.
I even tried to reset the PC as a last resort. But the message failed to reset the PC required A disk partition is missing.
Don't know what I can do. Can you help us?
Original title: Toshiba S955-S5373 will not start
Hi Annaed,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I can understand your concerns to your system and will certainly guide you in the right direction to solve the problem.
Control bug BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO occurs if the SYSTEM registry hive is damaged. However, this corruption is generally unlikely, because the bootloader, known as NT Loader (NTLDR) in versions of Windows prior to Vista, checks a hive for corruption when loading the hive.
This bug check can also occur if some values and critical registry keys are missing. You keys and values may be absent, if a user manually change the registry.
As per the error message "the drive where windows is installed is locked, unlock the drive and try again", I would refer to the suggestions posted by phanlon7 replied on 12 October 2013 in the next thread and check if they are useful.
Windows crash hard drive - discount - locked, unlock the hard drive
Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.

It is clearly stated that another process locks the record while the current process tries to lock the record even. Yet once obvious to say that the same application is deployed on three different servers (i.e. on the cluster) and each application tries to do the same task at the same time in each of the three servers with cluster.
Question: It is healthy to ignore this error? or I have to solve out?
I also checked this blog (Andrejus Baranovskis Blog: optimistic and pessimistic locking in Oracle ADF BC) he explains the difference between locking type available in the application model (optimistic and pessimistic). Will I change the lock mode in the request form for the client application that is mentioned to be optimistic rather than pessimistic? This will solve the problem? Is it OK to do with the behavior of the application who explained.
I thought about this a bit more and would not use temporary tables. Because the ADF does not guarantee that a session database is still used by the same am it will be difficult to control.
You can use a column in the table itself to write, for example, the name server that will manage the data before doing the real work.
Our you will find further information in the table that allows you to balance the work using this in a query. Sample would be a column id that allows you to select only the tires where the modulo 3 id is equal to 0, 1, or 2. In this way, it would be pointless to write something on the table before proposing the line as each server would see only the lines it is supposed to work.

Receive a "error open disc can not due to the failure to lock the file
I had a disc with a boot failure. I thought I had my saved VM but I got only an earlier version.
I put the disk in a USB enclosure and my new system cannot read the disc.
I copied the VM, I need my new drive.
When I try to open it, I get the error:
Cannot open disk '... vmdk' or
one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
Reason: Cannot lock the file.
I don't have the original system, so I can't try to open it on this system.
Is it possible that I can get this virtual machine to open?
Thank you
b
At least closed tab closed virtual machine or VMware Workstation then delete all folders/files .lck to the target of the virtual machine and then try to run it again.

Cannot open the disk could not be locked the file
Error when you try to share a drive between two virtual machines. I have two web servers VM and a disk shared data, each web server has 20 GB for operating system disks, and they share a 500 GB drive for data. I use clustered OCFS2 file system later.
See the 500 GB drive, but when we turn on the two VM the second throws the following error:
"An error was received from the ESX host turning on VM Myweb1.
Cannot open disk ' / vmfs/volumes/MyWeb1/MWeb1.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
Cannot lock the file.
I've read about this error before but can't find where and understand that it's either because I don't set them up right to start with, or that there is some extra config I can do in the s flat *.vmx file?
Here's what we did when creating virtual machines and a shared disk, is there something missing
Create 2 new virtual machines for Web servers with disks of 40GB of basis for the operating system and then add a new hard drive to one of the virtual machines in vSphere BUT must be correctly configured for sharing between multiple virtual machines.
For example, to change the settings > Add > hard drive > create a new virtual disk > choose size and choose 'Thick eager disposition to zero' > under 'Virtual Device Node' choose a "SCSI (1:0)" then finish.
Once the drive has been zero there would stay out in 'Change settings' > click new controller SCSI 1 and choose virtual disks 'Physical' can be shared between virtual machines on any server.
Change the settings of the 2nd virtual machine and choose Add hard drive, choose existing, navigate to which you have created the VM 1 drive, make sure you assign it the same SCSI (1:0).
Thanks a lot a lot a lot for any help in advance
Did you also step on 2 VM below
After the disc has been zero go back outside to 'Change settings' > click new controller SCSI 1 and choose virtual disks 'Physical' can be shared between virtual machines on any server.

I exported my Premium Pro movie to a .m2v file. When I try to open a new project so that I can create a DVD file and I can choose the .m2v file, it is grayed out. Also, if I double click on the .m2v file, it opens, but will not play and seems to be locked or frozen. What can I do?
Again, you use "import as" assets or timeline?

Can not power on virtual machines "cannot access the file because it is locked.
Virtual machines have been working well - then the storage system is down. After the storage system returns upwards that I can't turn on a number of virtual machines. Get this error when I try to turn it on:
Cannot power on vmname on esxhostname.xxxxx.com. Unable to access file < unspecified file name > because it is locked
error- To check the locks on the Service Console on non ESXi servers, run the command:
lsof | grep
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE SIZE NŒUD NOM_PERIPHERIQUE
71fd60b6-3631 root 4r REG 0.9 10737418240 23533Note: If there is no Console of Service process the locking file, you should receive no printed output. If you receive results, however, file a support request to identify the process and to determine the causes. If it is a third-party process, however, contact the appropriate provider to determine the cause before you kill the process ID, because it can happen again in the future.
Stop the process and the lock ID using the kill command. In the example above, the process ID is 3631:
kill the 3631
After the termination of the process, you can try to turn on the virtual machine or access the file resource.
- To check if the virtual machine is always a world ID assigned, run these commands on all ESX/ESXi hosts:
CD/tmp
VM-support - xAvailable to debug worlds:
WID =On the ESX/ESXi host where the virtual machine still works, kill the VM, which releases the lock on the file. To kill the virtual machine, run the command:
VM-support - X
Where the
is the ID of the world of the virtual machine with the locked file. Note: this command takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Answer No to "can I include a screenshot of the virtual machine", and answer Yes to all subsequent questions.
After the termination of the process, you can turn on the virtual machine or access the file resource.
Deleting the file .lck (NFS only)
The virtual machine files can be locked via NFS storage. You can identify this as reported by .lck files. # (where # is the ID of the world that holds the lock file) at the end of the file name. It is a NFS file lock and appears only when you use the ls command as it is the hidden file.Beware: they can be removed safely only if the virtual machine is not running.Note: VMFS volumes have no .lck files. The locking mechanism for VMFS volumes is managed within VMFS metadata on the volume.
You must kill the process that is locked, if it is not the case, you probably need to restart the VMware host.
I tell you from experience most likely end up rebooting it.
