• 9.1 Safari can not post on the forums

  Hello

  When I try to post on some forums I get messages like "something went wrong please try later."

  When I use another browser (Chrome) it works OK.

  This does not occur on all the forums, but it's annoying when things are not going as I want to use Safari as my browser unique.

  Anyone can shed some light on this?

  Go step by step and test.

  1. click  in the menu bar and select "force quit."

  Select Safari and click "exit of strength at the bottom of the window to Force Quit.

  Hold down the SHIFT key and launch Safari.

  2 empty Caches

  Safari > Preferences > advanced

  Tick the box "Show develop menu in menu bar."

  Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

  Click on develop and select 'Empty cache' in the menu dropdown.

  3. Delete Cookies

  Safari > Preferences > privacy > Cookies and other data from the website:

  Click on the button "Details".

  Delete all cookies except those from Apple, your internet service provider and the banks.

  4. turn off the power to the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.

  Plug it in, back to the wall. Turn on the router. Wait for all lights are light up properly. It will take a while.

  Restart the computer.

  Boot mode safe.

  I believe this particular forum is a top-level container.  You must select one of the sub-communities (on the right side of the page) to go in and actually publish.

  1 - click on your username in the upper right corner.  That will take you to your profile page. Use the 'filter' and select the questions > and then select my questions

  2 - in any use of the filter section sort "latest", or that you want to filter or sort by.

  Ah ok.  I think I knew what needed to change.  What version of inputing I've changed six point a point a point one to have v6.1.1.1 have the v in front of the numbers and the points seems to count. I think it was the 'hang up' with presentation of the post.

  Only a moderator can move to a post in another forum. So if you don't get an answer in a day or two, just re-post in the right forum.

  Otherwise, to change the content of your messages, log on to the forum and move your mouse pointer to the right of the blue box where it says sent by... Black arrowhead should appear. Hover over the arrow until the menu goes down with Edit option.

  BTW: Do not click this arrow in the blue box. Who will just take back you to the top of the page you are on, instead of the menu.

  Hi, my name is David.  I am looking desperately in these last days of an option to disable the touch screen on my HP Touchsmart PC option.  I looked under human interface devices, several control panel windows, everything, and nothing is no indication that all drivers lead to the deactivation of my touch screen.  I'll post pictures of the human interface devices list and and the page the pen and touch options so you can see what I mean.  I really need some help with what I see not how pay 60 bucks to turn off something so simple is just.  Again, any help you can provide me is absolutely paramount, because I can't deal with flies and something like the wind of a fan making the touch screen to become crazy trying to file important work.  If it helps, my computer is a PC HP TouchSmart 610, model 610-1180qd, serial number [edited by Moderator], product number LL606AV #ABA, OS Windows 8 Pro.  Thank you for your time.

  

  OK, I had to try the easiet path first.

  You can try this:

  We can find the right device and disable the Device Manager.

  Open the Device Manager

  Find Human Interface devices

  Right click on the first HID-compliant device, select "disable."

  Answer 'Yes' to the command prompt, and then tap the screen with your finger.

  If the screen is still touch, we struggle.

  Go back and re-enable the first device (right-click and select 'Enable')

  Try the next device until you find the right one.
  

  Again, I would like to know if it works.
