Try to use/install software camera Canon on WinXP Pro

I have windows XP Professional on my computer and today installed software camera Canon IXUS117HS on it, unfortunately, whenever I connect the camera via the USB port it will fail to recognize the 'Canon Utilities CameraWindow DC' software to upload photos to the ZoomBrowser EX software sister so I can change it, print, e-mail, etc. It produces a message error, says that he has to close and to tell microsoft about this problem.   I spent over an hour with supported Canon, who refused to ring me back (0844 number) and when I rang back after having tried various USB ports, various uninstals and restalls and download a patch for a 115HS camera having unsuccessfully - said it was my fault for registry and windows and called Microsoft.  Can anyone suggest what wrong here please?  I have no trouble seeing the photos in windows imaging and the format of my photos and the SoomBrowser them picks up automatically but the Camera Window DC software just doesn't work.  Summer of back to the store and got another set of software disks but still the same.    Can someone help me, ripping my hair out to had dealing with this every day now.

I'm not completely computer literate and so on to reading your response, I called a friend who is a guru and he said that you had gone to a lot of trouble and gave very good advice, but also, it considered that - to my skill level - you could go down a very dark road - while he was in agreement with me that I must forget just the Canon software , which is rubbish because he should have had these 'libraries' in the software to set my computer as I downloaded it and just use Microsoft software to process photos on the camera, he believes.

I will thank you to go to so much trouble to find a solution for me - it is much appreciated.

    The Canon Web site shows that there is no Windows 8 driver for this camera model. The driver may be either included in the operating system, or you may not need to pilot. You can click on the given link and check details:

    Note: Select the operating system and check the latest drivers available.

    But because the device does not work with the drivers built into Windows 8, it would be preferable to contact Canon Technical Support for assistance.

  • I can't install software photoshop on my macbook pro?

    I have a new macbook pro and I am new to apple. I can't do little matter I try install any product of photoshop.

    I have the disc and serial for ten items and it happens to about three-quarters of the way through then stops and

    says the habit and fatal error to go any further. I also downloaded items 11 and which does exactly the same thing.

    I think I have deleated something I shouldn't while exploring the macbook.

    Well I spent hours going through the library Adobe looking at newspapers. I found three warnings and three errors and other issues. I took a look at the Adobe knowledge page and couldn't find what I was looking for. So there's about half an hour I installed the adobe uninstaller and running. Haven't tried the disc no joy. So I then searched all files related to Adobe and uninstalled all Adobe products I had downloaded and also deleted all the files I could find. I then rebooted the macbook and ran the disc. It worked perfectly the first time on the issues at all. Its now registered etc.

    It would be unusual for a real program designed for Win95 or Win 3.1 be provided on a cd, they would normally have been on a diskette

  • Why not Photoshop CC open Canon 70 d RAW Files, and when I try to install Adobe Camera Raw manual installation, it won't let me not do it anymore?

    If I understand the question - if this drive will be used for both copies of backup for Mac and Windows-R/W, you should leave a Windows machine format the drive for fewer problems.

    Mac will need software http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/ for the ability of NTFS R/W or similar

    I would certainly recommend format the drive to remove a remnant of the software pre-installed on the new drive.

    If on the other hand to use Mac - and you cannot mount the drive, try to force mount DiskUtility > file > Mount

    If not can do - the reader is bad out of the box.

    Try to reset the App Store:

    Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

    Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

    Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

    Recently bought the Satellite A500-17 x with Windows 7 pre-installed. Manual tells me under all programs-toshiba-> utilities >, there should be a web cam application.

    Each Toshiba laptop comes with preinstalled operating system and all the drivers, tools and utilities you need to work with your laptop.

    That I can see that your laptop is the model with webcam and pre-installed Chicony Camera Assistant Software.
    By default, this software starts with Windows and you can see if you move the pointer of the mouse on the left side of display.
    If possible also check MSCONFIG Startup tab to see if the software is enabled for auto-start.

    I suggest you try and boot into safe mode. Follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. restart and keep tapping F8 until you reach the start menu.

    b. Select safe mode and press ENTER.

    I suggest you to try and initiate the last known good configuration. Follow the steps mentioned below.
