  PowerCLI gives us an easy way to retrieve the data warehouse associated with a virtual (Get-data store) machine, but it doesn't seem to be a built-in method to get the list of all records where a given virtual machine stores all its files. Or maybe I'm just blind ;-)

  No, that sounds like a good idea to copy/back up virtual machines.

• Cannot select a record in the Get pictures from dialog files and folders in PSE/Win7/64 bit

  has anyone seen this problem and I hope a solution...

  I test just PSE 7 on Win 7 64 bit.

  When I try to import photos in the Organizer, using Get Photos from files and folders, I propose in my pictures folder (which has subfolders 324 - one for each session).  When I (single) click on one of the files (except the first), the dialog box flickers, scroll bar on the right is growing and the subfolder does not get selected. When I scroll down, I see that some recent subfolders are missing from the dialog box. When I repeat this procedure a couple of times, all that remains in the dialog box is the first subfolder, you can still select OK. It seems to be related the number of subfolders, as other records do not show this behavior.

  I tried to install the latest graphics driver, I tried with PSE 8 trial, changed the looks of the folder to all possible options (thumb small, big, detail, etc.), changed the program for Windows XP SP2 compatibility, no change...

  This same machine worked on the same exact file OK with Win XP and 7 PES.

  Advice would be useful...

  During a turn on iCloud photo library on a camera that have been placed on the device via the sync from iTunes are deleted from the device.   Some users manage to lose their pictures when you try to transfer
  them from one system to the other.

  OK... everything you want to do is to copy files on a flash drive...

  I suggest that you try to copy a picture to the flash drive
  then move the disk to the target computer and download it.
  It would be a good exercise to ensure that it works as described.

  Try this... Insert the flash drive into a USB port.

  Reach... My computer... doesn't show flash player up as a disc?

  If_yes_all you have to do is right click - Copy and paste your photo
  folder/s on the flash drive. (* cut / paste * is not a good idea because)
  which actually removes the files from the drive source hard).
   
  If the size of the file combined your photo folders exceeds the
  capacity of the flash player... you need to transfer photos
  in the groups that will be adapted on the disk.

  Then just reverse the steps to copy the files to your new computer.

  FWIW... to copy files directly from one computer to another...

  With the phone on and iTunes open, click the Photos tab on the left, then uncheck synchronize the Photos. Click on synchronize in the lower-right.

  This will prevent all images to iPhoto to be loaded on the iPhone, unless you use iCloud for photos. If you know there are specific folders on iPhoto, then uncheck synchronize Photos should solve your problem

  I am trying to create an Action that adds text from a photo of an image metadata.

  When recording an Action, I could open the information file and copy the text and then paste the text from the image. However, when I replay the Action on another image, for example the text of the original photo is pasted, the Action does not save the copy and paste it to the Clipboard.

  3 - is the mobile not detected in Device Manager?

  4. have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

  5. What is the exact error message do you get?

  I suggest to follow the steps provided and check if it helps.

• I need to get the PFM files for several old Type 1 fonts that I bought from Adobe.

  I have quite a few Type 1 fonts that I bought from Adobe, at the time when dinosaurs walked the Earth and Adobe Type Manager was all the rage. I need to be able to use them in Windows 7 and later versions, so I need the PFM files, which are not on floppy 3.5 "disks I have.

  I saw someone asked this question last year and an Adobe employee asked the person to email him, but I don't know if this employee is always followed the forums or responsible for this kind of thing again so I ask here now in the hope of getting help so I can get the required PFM files for fonts I have.
