  One of my favorite features of Windows 8/RT is the charm of 'Share', which makes it so easy to do exactly that. However, recently it has stopped working when you share things through the Mail application (I can always share on Facebook), which was the main way that I used it.   How to print from a laptop (Toshiba, Vista 32-bit) on a HPC6250 USB printer connected to a desktop computer wireless (Dell, Win 7 32/64 bit). My wireless modem is ATT U-Verse.  Printer has USB or ability of ethernet cable but not wireless. The modem is not printer ethernet connection is not viable.

  I activated the such LPD service indicated in your link, but it did not turn. When I sailed through the other answers the last one said to remove the spaces in the name of the shared printer. I did it and it seems to work.

  I use ACER 4830TG more than a year & I am pretty satisfied. My problem is that I have a Nexus 7 (WiFi) & I used generally to share my wifi PC internet using my WiFi utility intel. But for a few weeks, I am unable to share my Wifi using Intel my WiFi utility. It shows always connect & disconnect info with in a few seconds. But if I share my Internet then it connect with my Nexus 7 & of course, I'm not able to use internet then. Need urgent help please. BTW, earlier, I tried intels new dashboard 15.1, but it does not support my WiFi adapter. So, I rolled back & connect with a common, but now I can't!
  My WiFi profile current settings:
  Security: WPA2-PSK
  Type of encryption: TKIP
  Filter network traffic: disabled
  DHCP and DNS server: enabled
  Default channel: 3
  No device is blocked!
  BTW, I used to connect to the same profile settings, but now it is connect any more.

  Firstly I suggest to enable network discovery and check if this helps you solve the problem. To do this, please follow the steps below:

  (a) Open advanced sharing settings by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type network, click network and sharing Center, and then in the navigation pane, click change advanced sharing settings.

  (b) to increase the profile of the current network.

  (c) click turn on network discovery, and then click Save changes. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  It is also possible that the Windows Firewall and the antivirus on the computer may be blocking the printers print.

• Finder hanging when trying to share files to send

  I use a MB Pro 13' bought a few weeks ago. The OS is the latest version available. I had a few problems with blank email that was resolved by uninstalling completely Security adds on called Trusteer / report.

  Now a new and very irritating thing started by which I can't share a file to send by right-clicking on the file (in the finder) and selecting PART - EMAIL. Normally, a new e-mail window would jump upward with the file filling already. All that was needed was to add text and the recipient and send it.

  The finder window becomes almost insensitive and I need to force quit and then relaunch it. The only life I can get out of the finder window in this State is that I can scroll vertically in the window, but only a limited number of files is visible. The slider on the side right up and down but does not actually move the files.

  The only way I can send a file to someone by e-mail is to create an email and join from there. This method works very well.

  I also noticed that if I try share a webpage to Facebook, he will not do that. Safari becomes unresponsive and I have to restart. Restart the machine makes no difference.

  I did a lot of research online, but have not been able to find a solution. I tried deleting file plist without result.

  No, because the limiting factor is the computer is USB 2.0, which is how it connects any external drive apart the external drive. As USB 2.0 is much slower, there is no real advantage to a 7200 RPM drive. What you need is a Firewire enclosure that supports FW800 which is much faster than USB 2.0.

  It seems that you can not share a photo on Facebook and you see warning messages relating to the account. I would not say that you are missing something, because it looks like the functionality does not work as expected.

  You see your Facebook account in the left column of the preferences Internet accounts? To find preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Internet accounts (by OS X El Capitan: add your Twitter, Facebook and other Internet accounts.)

  If you don't see the Facebook account, try to remove and re-add the account:

  1. Highlight your Facebook account in the left column.
  2. Click on the sign - to delete the account.
  3. Click on the "facebook" logo in the right column.
  4. Enter your Facebook username and password.
  5. Once the account is added to the Internet account, try sharing a photo again.

  Let us know if these measures have helped or if you do not see Facebook in the preferences on your Mac Internet accounts. Also - what application shared since?

  I understand that iMovie will leave whenever you launch the application after trying to share to the theatre.  To start with this issue where iMovie can not open, I would you please create an iMovie library and see if iMovie opens with this new library:

  Create a new library

  1. Choose file > open library > new.

  2. In the Save dialog box appears, type a name for the new library and navigate to the location where you want to save it.

     The default location is the movies folder in your home folder.

  3. Click Save.

     A new library is created at the chosen location, and an empty event with the current date is created.

  iMovie (2013): work with multiple libraries

  If iMovie opens in the new library, we know that there is a problem with your existing library.  The good news is that your information is not lost, since you are able to move your projects and media:

  Copy or move projects, events, or the clips between the libraries, or drives

  1. Connect a hard disk that contains the library target to your computer, or copy the library target on your computer.

  2. Choose file > open library and choose an option from the submenu.

     You can choose among libraries recently opened at the top of the submenu, locate an existing library on your computer, or create a new library.

  3. The selected library opens in the list of libraries, with the first selected event and its content is displayed in the browser.

  4. In the libraries list, select the event that contains the item you want to move or copy.

  5. In the browser, select the item you want to move or copy.
