• Surprise files not supported

  Hello everyone and happy holidays,

  I use CS4 on a Windows XP system. I have a processor IntelCore Duo 3 GHz with 3 gigs ram.

  I shoot with a Canon XH - A1 and sometimes bring my prosumer JVC, Everio GZ-HD6U. This is a very nice camera, but he uses one. Format of TOD that is taken in charge anywhere except for CyberLink Power Director. Power Director is a utility that allows to convert the .mpg files and I always did when I use the camera. But now, something changed.

  I used the .mpg files in a project very happy until I downloaded the so-called import Q calibrated and decoder that decodes. FCP MOV files. Ever since I downloaded this software, I can no longer play .mpg files. PP tells me they don't are not supported or damaged. I got rid of the software calibrated and still nothing. I have re-converted the. TSD files... nothing.

  Calibrated wrote something on my HD that prevents me to play the files. No idea what could happen?

  I think that evil has a good place to start - System Restore.

  Adobe hides its codec pretty well, so that they do not get crushed or damaged by other programs, but sometimes things happen. I had to guess that you probably have a case where the other program has reset the priority of the CODEC, and MainConcept MPEG CODEC of PrPro got watered or fallen so low on the scale of priority, it is no longer usable.

  Now, before I restored, I would try a repair install of PrPro first, just in case wherever he's going to fix things about the MainConcept CODEC.

• The JVC HD rendering settings screen using PE7

  I use a HD model of JVC GZ - HD3U that downloads in the computer as an. TSD file.  I capture on the widescreen 1440 X full 108i.  They seem to load very well in the program.  My question is what I want as a parameter of rendering if I want to store the file completed on my computer for future editing?  The file size must be reasonable, without sacrificing a lot of quality (especially since I was going to be re-editing of the file).  I've experimented with MPEG and AVI formats - MPEG seems to do a very small file size, what concerns me and AVI will not let you go beyond 720 x 480.

  Secondly, I have a number of old video files of my days DV DV camcorder. AVI files that I would need to use with the most recent JVC. Files by making new videos TOD.  What problems could this present.  My final destination is to burn it to a DVD for family viewing.  At some point, I hope to add a blue ray DVD burner to the mix.

  Finally, I had a problem with some of the DV files to a scraping sound in some parts of the video while it is loaded in the program PE7.  These video clips have no sound problem when loading in other video editing software or when I play through Windows Media Player.  Any ideas on this problem?   Thank you for your help.

  Regarding your problems with DV - AVI... PE7 may have some problems with DV - AVI Type 1, maybe the other capture program captured as a Type 1 while PE7 prefer Type 2. Download DVDate and convert them to the Type 2... no quality than just quick and hit touch the audio.

  OK, you want to keep the image size high definition. As a result, you can export as 1440x1080i MPEG2, > PC > MPEG, and then select the preset 1440x1080i. You can go into Advanced Options and adjust the video bitrate in CBR 25 MB / s it's the HDV MPEG2 standard. The file size must be the same as DV - AVI... 13 GB per hour, 220 MB per minute.

  I build a few installers TestStand 2014 SP1 and noticed that in many of the installation and public directories there are files of type *.ver and I can't find anything in the help TestStand, Google, or here on the Web site of NOR.

  Anyone know what here? for example:

  Must I include in an installer for a custom with custom Plugins process model?

  You don't need to worry about the deployment.  .ver files are binary files that are used by the installer of the TestStand product, typically TestStand patches, to determine the version of the files that are on the system and finally to decide which files to update.  TestStand Deployment Utility manages versions of file for the entire generation and installers to fix using a separate mechanism (the information is stored in the TSD file), these are not required on computers deployment targets.

• HP Simplepass stop working

  I had my HP all-in-one PC for 13 months. I have Windows 7, all updates, and especially to use IE - recently updated 9-10 - could be the problem. SimplePass worked very well - I would go to a Web site and Simplepass would jump and will ask for a password to connect. Today, all Web sites make me sign - col Simple it only for me. I tried to 'fix '; I checked and all my financial and other sites are in SimplePass with logins, but the program does not work. Suggestions?

  OK - standard fix for this type of problem starts with the following...

  You can PRINT ON your webcards.  This carries some risk; the question of the use of SimplePass is to preserve the security of your passwords.  However, if you are in danger to forget or lose your password, you can print the list.  Printing will take about 95% of the words of past, or so... true make sure you keep the list printed somewhere safe.

  Start SimplePass > Options (between the parameters and the '? ') > print all web cards

  I'm currently building a deployment and I get an error of-19050

  The number of bits of LabVIEW does not have the number of bits of the deployment utility.

  I can run the same .tsd file on a different machine and do not get this error

  the two machines are:

  It turns out that this was caused by selecting the 64-bit version of TestStand instead of the 32-bit version

  After you have selected the 32-bit version I no longer have this error

• SimplePass does not work for Web sites after the receovery system

  I recently did a recovery plant system overall condition,

  SimplePass works for the windows logon, but not for Web sites more... no invites her to save new sites when passwords are entered finger print OR interrogate the user on sites that are entered manually.

  You did not include the version of your operating system: Windows 7 I guess because you have been deported back to a very early version of the HP SimplePass.

  You must consider that you may have a version of your fingerprint driver that is appropriate (fairly recent) to run a newer version of HP SimplePass.  The fact that the old version SimplePass does not at all suggests that you run the version of the driver 4.3.118.0 - this version of the driver is not compatible with subsequent revisions of the SimplePass software.

  Hey, I deleted my SimplePass software following an accident, and now I don't know where to download it.

  If you're lucky, the software will be in your Recovery Manager.

  Start > type / search "recover" > click on Recovery Manager > reinstall Applications / drivers

  Find and install the software SimplePass...

  If the software is not there, THEN it gets complicated.

  The software is not found in the Web site of your computer.

  Two possible solutions:

   

  It is the version which is probably the provided HP software that may have come with your computer:

  SimplePass 2012 sp56487 V5.4.0.402

  If that fails, then delete it (from programs and features).

   

  and install this latest version of AuthenTec:

  SimplePass HPLite32_build_5.4.0.620

  The latest version of AuthenTec has all the features and functionality of the provided software HP device.  It also works with your backup file (export .tsd file), if you have one to import.

  Rules - order of events:

  • Install (restore) validity FIRST pilot - REBOOT
  • Install software SimplePass then - as he clean and happy?  Reboot again.

  For later...

  Whenever you make a change to the software, not expect to complain.  You can fix sometimes - do not uninstall, but entering programs and features, right click on the software package by clicking 'fix '.  This resinstalls the software without destroying your password database.  Then, it's Windows - Reboot.  This release fixes a bunch of "weird" stuff that happens.

  Driver do?  Go to Device Manager > biometric devices > right click and uninstall the driver.

  Restart and let the pilot resinstall itself when you open a session.

• For hp dv7 fingerprint reader works does not after update to 8.1 windows

  Hello

  I upgraded Windows 8.1 Windows 8.  Before updating the finger print reader worked. I used it to connect to websites in any browser Firefox. I also logged into windows with my fingerprint reader and the screen unlocked the same way.

  I have updated all the drivers according to the instructions on updatig before windows 8.1 and after update.  I checked that everything compatible with windows 8.1 again by the instructions before putting up-to-date.

  After that update the drive light will not read the finger scan and the light does not illuminate. I went to the control panel to check the driver and he was later. I ran the windows driver verifier and on the HP site checked for validity sensor driver is up-to-date.  When I open simple passage it says congratulations you can connect in the window by the touch of the finger. When I go on Internet sites I have red cells connected with simle pass, he now seeks to connect with the password "master."

  Welcome to the HP Forum.

  Does the SimplePass asks your for your master password Windows means that the program has survived the process of upgrading to Windows 8, 1 - somehow.

  You can start with the following:

  • Create a Restore Point > create a restore - Win7 Point ORcreate a restore point Win8 
  • Close all your programs and shut down your computer
    • Unplug everything (little unifying for the keyboard / mouse external can stay)
    • Perform the Hard Reset for your laptop
    • Start the computer and connect
  • Check is SimplePass himself has sorted them.

  ==========================================================================

  You can try to update your SimplePass program to the latest version in the series of version 6.x.

  Before you do this, read and follow the instructions to export your Webcards in your .tsd file.  Regardless of whether the Web site connections are working right now; you need this backup in case you lose your HP SimplePass program (thanks to the complete removal / reinstallation or if corruption).

  Then, consider updating the HP SimplePass program to the latest version 6 series.  If you are already using the latest version, consider other options in the guide, including the "Repair SimplePass" procedure.

  Open the file > click Download > click 'open in Adobe Reader.

• Today I've updated Internet Explorer v 11 & now not fully functional simplepass. Help!

  I have 3 questions & I hope the answers to sort my problems.

  Q1: My laptop has only 5 days. Envy 17-j053ea model. SimplePass is c. 6.0.100.276. My OS is Windows 8 & everything was great on each ite I put my user name & p / w. see windows 8.1 upgrade was free, I've updated this afternoon. I see my p/w limited in simplepass window, but on most of my sites that I revisited, simplepass appears. I even deleted the u/n and p/w in simplepass window & then logged on to the site & waited for simplpass to ask if I wanted to save these details, only to get nothing. However, when I arrived at the help HP simplepass illuminated site & I spent my finger & it worked as expected. Someone here has answered another question by saying: 'try to update simplepass' & mention there are 2 versions, a v8 & v6. So how d I update simplepass when v6 interface hasnothing mentioning "update."

  Q2: I have a HP DV7-6series lapop model & all u / n & p / w have been stored in a folder in my documents & so I was able to keep a copy on a memory stick. This new version has not created a folder in my documents & I can't find the file with all my stored info. If someone can tell me what file is use v6 to store all this information in?

  First thing to try:

  • Close all your programs and shut down your computer
  • Unplug everything (little unifying for the keyboard / mouse external can stay)
  • Perform the Hard Reset for your laptop
  • Start the computer and connect

  Q1 update and the question

  • The database for SimplePass is sensitive to change - he doesn't like the changes made to the configuration of the browser, he dislikes the file system changes, he dislikes login pages which do not correspond to a limited set of rules, he doesn't like the weather changes.  He hates in particular during its creation has been shaken by a change in the operating system.
  • In some cases the above mentioned Hard Reset can solve the problems with the database.
  • You can also try to use repair on the program itself as shown in the linked guide at the bottom of this post.  Repair is essentially an overload of the program on top of itself without first uninstalling the program.
  • You could try to import a backup copy of your most recent Webcard (.tsd file), although you should try the Hard Reset and repair before you apply the backup file; applying a backup of a database of puree probably won't do anything.
  • You could try to "set as default" on your Internet Explorer - we don't know if it's the root of the problem, but after other remedies cause be if applies, it may be useful to do.  Be SURE that you export your Favorites and everything you want to keep to IE before applying the zero setting.

  Update

  • There are mainly two versions of SimplePass running on Windows 7 to Windows 8.1.
  • HP SimplePass version 6.x can work with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and perhaps others, if they exist.
  • HP SimplePass version 8.x like Internet Explorer.  At one point he can make friends with other browsers and for some people these browsers may even work with V8.x SimplePass now - others among us, is not-so-good.
  • HP SimplePass version 8.x is a different edition of the HP SimplePass family - this version is written by Softex.  HP SimplePass V8.x provides a simplified interface to SimplePass as well as basic functions as seen in the Group of programs AuthenTec (6.x).   The 8.x interface may seem less robust for those who are used to V6.x.
  • There are key differences between these two versions - one of the most notable changes is the use of a completely different export base by the new program version 8.x.  This means that your export file .tsd with HP SimplePass Version 6.x (passwords and website backup) cannot be used with all of the programs SimplePass version 8; you will have to start from the beginning and add your websites and passwords manually.  For this reason, it is advised that you know your Web sites and passwords before changing the version of HP SimplePass.
  • Instructions to upgrade from Version 6.x to Version 8.x are included in the guide linked at the bottom of this post.

• Transfer video files from my JVC Everio camcorder problems

  I am trying to transfer video files from my JVC Everio camcorder to my computer to play on windows media player - windows XP, but receive an error code: C00D11D1 say there are problems with my sound or images, but there is no update for windows media player?

  It is a generic code and a lot of different solutions.

  To help you, can you confirm that this is the sequence of events:

  * you transfer the video files to your PC
  * then you try to open them in WMP
  * gives the error message celebrates

  You may well have a codec problem, that can be solved in 2 ways:

  * Download and use Gspot (Google for it). Drag the file in question on the small window which is Gspot and it will tell you what are the different audio and video codecs. Serach the web and download the forms.

  * Download and install a Cedec such as K-Lite package.

  Hi I have a JVC's Everio camcorder. This unit uses a strange video file extension (is MOD). I try to play these video files on windows media player, but it won't play. I also tried to import these files into windows movie maker, but he won't.

  I'm moving your message to the sounds and the media.

  Rename the extension .mpg video and see if you are able to view them.

  If this is not the case, check with JVC for instructions on how to edit video files.
