Thank you.

    Have a brand new Dell Vostro with TSSTcorp DVD +-RW Drive SN - 208BB player and audio cd of the fact now, it will not play on a cd player.  I tried to slow down the rate of combustion, with 3 different programs to burn and still cannot be read on an external cd drive.  Have tried more than one.  I can get 1 or 2 songs to play, but never the first song.  Tech Dell offers different burn program I tried and nothing has changed; and suggested different brand media.  I have yet to pick up some, but I think it's the drive.  Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions

    Cd players, I've tried are RCA RP8070 & Sharp XL-UH240.

    The players will read the disc (let me know how many songs and the total time used), but he won't play.  Today, I tried using a Taiyo Yuden (aie.30 per) drive and it worked fine.  It may be the inexpensive windata disc I use.  I hope that there is another drive that works and that is not so expensive.

    I thought the players had to play in the disk order unless you specify random. Thank you for never-to-much for responding.

  • TSSTcorp DVD +-error code RW TS - H653G ATA Device 39. I can't reinstall the driver. What can I do? programs and disks will not play.

    DVD drive no longer appears in the list with the C: drive
    drives can run in the drive.

    Hello

    Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Follow these steps to remove corruption and missing/damaged file system repair or replacement.

    Start - type in the search box - find command top - RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN

    sfc/scannow

    Then run checkdisk (chkdsk).

    How to run check disk in Windows 7

    ==========================================================

    After the foregoing:

    References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

    Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
    a process that solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
    Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
    RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
    cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
    manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

    Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
    Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

    Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
    the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

    Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and the
    correct registry entries for your car.

    Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
    as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

  • problem with TSSTcorp DVD +-RW Drive SN - 208BB driver

    Hi I have a laptop Inspiron Windows 8, only about a month and the DVD continued to show.  I put a cd or dvd and shows nothing.  He makes noises but doesn't show anything.  I ran a material and problem solving devices and it says there is a problem with the above drive and the USB-drive IF port.  I select apply this fix, but it says it can't be fixed and the driver must be reinstalled.

    Ive tried to find this driver on the dell website, and I can't seem to find it.  I think it's a Toshiba product but am really stuck now.  Can anyone help? :(

    Hmm, well I went into Device Manager, uninstalled and it did something and came back!  I tried the same thing with the USB driver, I had trouble with, but who did not return :/  Hmmmm...

  • TSSTcorp DVD +-RW TS H653A says "disc format is not supported" when you save videos home on DVD.

    Try to copy your own movies of Canon HG20 Image Mixer software 3SE.  After you select the videos to burn and the software is ready to write, I get the message "disc format is not supported.  I have tried different DVD manufactures but still not received the same message.  I know the drive works because I was able to burn the 'data' for a disc with no problems.  Any suggestions?

    Hi dmoore392,

    You can check the type of disc properly supported by the Image Mixer 3SE software from the link: http://bit.ly/YKpn4l you can try to uninstall and reinstall the application and see if it works. You can also consult the FAQ of the link: http://bit.ly/YRrWnA

  • Is TSSTcorp DVD +-RW TS - H653A SCSI CdRom Device Lightscribe capable?

    Hello.  I would be grateful if you could let me know how to determine if this DVD player is capable of Lightscribe features?  Thank you.

  • My TSSTcorp DVD + RW TS-H653B has stopped working. I get that it is not an accessible device in writing. I used it to burn movies it was working but now it isn't.

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

    Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Swap disk for a well-known work. If you can now burn with it, throw the original drive. They do not last forever. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • My CD/DVD drive... TSST Corp DVD +-RW TS-H653G

    I ran the "My Dell" support program to search for the latest drivers; the main reason I did it was because I couldn't get my camcorder DV from Sony recognized via the Firewire connection and I had problems with some devices not recognized by USB, things like my Smartphone, passport, walk, digital camera, to name just a few. My Dell support program showed an "Urgent" notification update the TSS reader, this is what I did; Since then, the reader above is no longer available and is without driver (Code 28)... which I can't find anywhere, for love nor money!

    I tried to restore, I tried to "update driver" and I downloaded R306360 (which seems to be the only one I need!), all without success.

    My PC is a Studio of 8100 running Win 7 64 bit. I have the system disks and utilities provided with the PC, but guess what... my CD player does not work... Aaaargh!

    Can someone help me pleeeaaase?

    Thank you, in desperation, Dave.

    Osprey4/Mekram,

    Thank you very much for your cause and advice; I have now solved the problem through a combo of this and the support of communities of Dell and encouragement;

    It seems that a clean reinstall of Windows, was all it took, but I must say he will not completely without a hitch... or all three!

    But I arrived;

    Thank you very much for your and others help...

    Keep up your excellent work.

    Dave.
