problem with TSSTcorp DVD +-RW Drive SN - 208BB driver

Hi I have a laptop Inspiron Windows 8, only about a month and the DVD continued to show.  I put a cd or dvd and shows nothing.  He makes noises but doesn't show anything.  I ran a material and problem solving devices and it says there is a problem with the above drive and the USB-drive IF port.  I select apply this fix, but it says it can't be fixed and the driver must be reinstalled.

Ive tried to find this driver on the dell website, and I can't seem to find it.  I think it's a Toshiba product but am really stuck now.  Can anyone help? :(

Hmm, well I went into Device Manager, uninstalled and it did something and came back!  I tried the same thing with the USB driver, I had trouble with, but who did not return :/  Hmmmm...

Have a brand new Dell Vostro with TSSTcorp DVD +-RW Drive SN - 208BB player and audio cd of the fact now, it will not play on a cd player.  I tried to slow down the rate of combustion, with 3 different programs to burn and still cannot be read on an external cd drive.  Have tried more than one.  I can get 1 or 2 songs to play, but never the first song.  Tech Dell offers different burn program I tried and nothing has changed; and suggested different brand media.  I have yet to pick up some, but I think it's the drive.  Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions

Cd players, I've tried are RCA RP8070 & Sharp XL-UH240.

The players will read the disc (let me know how many songs and the total time used), but he won't play.  Today, I tried using a Taiyo Yuden (aie.30 per) drive and it worked fine.  It may be the inexpensive windata disc I use.  I hope that there is another drive that works and that is not so expensive.

I thought the players had to play in the disk order unless you specify random. Thank you for never-to-much for responding.

  • Having a problem with my DVD player with regard to media playback

    Hello

I have recently had problems with my DVD ROM read drive media correctly, when I put in a computer game (lets say Star Craft 2 as an example at random) Autorun makes me up some options and says it's an image and request either 1.) Open the files and view them, or 2.) See all photos in Windows and some other similar options.
It will not recognize the game as a game and will not bring up the menu to install the game or whatever it is, sorta solve this problem I put the automatic run settings so that it opens files in the photo (since it is the software game image processing) and once he opens the folder I click on the installation program manually.
I checked my driver to ensure that it is up-to-date.
For any help or suggestion will be welcome.

    SOLVED!

I found out with a little research it was Vista blocks the autorun.inf files in games and keep them to read and run the .exe files automatically and so he held a photo, thank you for the help and suggestions.
  • SOLVED problem with my DVD/CD _

    Hello

I have a problem with my DVD/CD. Although Device Manager says, "this device works properly.". It does not at all.

I'm very suspicious of the cable connections. The cable has been severely pinched by my grandson. It did not close, and instead to find the cause, he forced its closure.

So what I want to know is if I can buy the cable online and install it myself.  I have searched but cannot find a place to buy one, and although I searched on the Dell site, I couldn't find anything there either.

    Thanks for reading...

I finally got my problem solved by replacing the CD-ROM unit.  I was lucky enough to get an opportunity from a computer at a price store very low. If all goes well.

  • Problems with the DVD on Pavilion dv6-2010sa

HP Pavilion dv6-2010sa laptop computer (under Windows 7 x 64), I bought less than a week ago.

I started the disk recovery software to back up my OS in the event of future disasters.

I used a DVD + disc, so it would take 3 discs to do the recovery disks.

First DVD completed successfully. Software asked me to enter the disk 2.

This is where I started to have problems.

Drive recovery software couldn't recognize my blank dvd +.

The drive makes a lot of noise, but then stopped making noise.

I tried a few other DVDs +, but to no avail.

I rebooted the computer laptop and tried but same problem.

So I tried to play a dvd movie to see if it was the disk recovery software or the dvd player.

He would not play a dvd movie.

I also tried to play an audio CD but the same problem.

The drive icon appears in Windows Explorer, but does not display any info (or open the CD / DVD) when I have a CD or a DVD in there.

So it seems to be a problem with the DVD-> grateful not any CD / DVD

    If someone can advise?

PS. I searched the driver DVD (so I could Reinstall driver) but the HP Web site does not contain the driver for 2010sa (DVD software only)

    Thanks in advance

    Gary

    Problem solved.

    Uninstall the device dvd player:

-Device Manager > do a right-click post dvd/cd player > uninstall the device

Restart the laptop and OS will reinstall the driver and the DVD/CD drive should start working again (well this is what has happened to me)

  • Problem with still DVD CS6. Cancellation writing disc

Hello. I need help - I have a problem with Encore DVD CS6. When the DVD disc is written the end of the process program cancel displays this text: "Still could not complete the operation due to an error in hardwar (detection code 40902)" it is in mac os. In windows, the problem is the same but the detection code is 300200. What is it?   Disk space is sufficient.

As a test, generate an image rather than burn them to a disc.

Sense errors are usually, but not always material.

You use the same drive (external?)? Are you using the same disks? (Sense code errors can be disks.)

Many of us don't burn ever with still, using ImgBurn for PC or for Mac toast.

  • Satellite P30 turn off - also problems with burning DVDs

    Hi Please help me.
I had a row with my brother and it won't help.

My Pc is only a year old and it turns off. I would say it was because of overheating, but he just did and it isn't really that hot.
I put on the books, not on my knees, keep him away heat, crash back to the desktop.
It makes me crazy, please, any help or advice or anything like that would be a great help.

I also have problems with my dvd burner, always, he gets to about 17% and said that there is a mistake, thought it was the discs but surely it can be all 100 of them, I tried turning on and off but no use.
Also the advice would be great!

Please help a girl in need of a working Pc! Who does not know a lot of technical stuff!

    Hello

Overheating problems usually occur because the cooling module cannot work properly.
Fans are unable to work because of the dirt and dust inside the laptop.
The best way to clear the fans is to use the vacuum cleaner.

On the problems of DVD writer: well, it's not easy to say why it happens. Have you checked media dvd from different manufacturers? Many CD/DVD media works differently, and you should check it out.
In addition, there is a problem with the burning software. I put t know what application you're using, but you should try to use Nero. It's very nice software and I m very happy. Check it out

    Hello Lewie,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. What is brand and model your computer?
    2. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?

I understand that you lose your screen when you play a game. This happens usually if the installed graphics driver has corrupted or unstable. Therefore, I suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

Method 1: Run the tool material and devices

Try running the next fixit and check whether the problem is resolved.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

Method 2: Update your graphics card

1 open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then, under System, click the Managerof peripheral . If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in the list of hardware categories, find the display adapters and select the device driver you want to update, and then double-click the device name.

    3. Click tab driver , click Update driver, and then follow the instructions. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

For more information, visit the below mentioned link:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

If you are not able to update the device driver via windows update, you can visit your computer or graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA) Web site and download & install the latest driver. Or contact the manufacturer of your system to do.

For reference, you can also consult the following Web page. Click on continue to this site Web (not recommended) if you are prompted for any error of certification.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

Hello world! The problem is basically just, he doesn't want to write/burn any cd/dvd brand more. He works wonders for little over a year and recently developed this problem. I'm sure that's not media brands I've tried with several. The problem with Nero, Alcohol120%, MagicISO, PowerISO, Burn4Free, regardless of what I am trying to burn data, audio, regular programs or images. Note that I am able to write with alcohol with success but there is in fact nothing on the CD and Nero burns the data also but fails to verify after the fact and gives an error. Writing on DVD R/RW is completely failed, creating coasters. Also the Player opens without reason and when he wants. I have laptop Toshiba A200 - 1 MB under original Vista Home Premium. Here's an error report, hopefully it'll help. Thanks and any assistance is much appreciated!

Try to remove the CD/DVD filters in the registry.
When the associated CD/DVD (such as iTunes, Nero, virtual CD software), the software is installed, they install filters in the registry, which can cause compatibility problems.

    (1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit)
    2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    (3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
    (4) restart.

If your CD/DVD programs stop working, you will need to reinstall them (preferably with an updated version).

This utility can remove the filters for you:

Also remove the dust on the lens with a clean Microfiber cloth.

  • Portege R100: Problems with CD/DVD Lacie USB 2.0 drive

Hello everyone, this is my first post here.
I'll most likely be a regular here I come to buy a R100.

I am having trouble with an external hard drive that I bought especially for the R100,
It's a Lacie CD / DVD burner, model number: 300819EK.

This unit can be powered by AC or by using the two usb ports.
    I use two usb ports.

The R100 recognizes the Lacie, and in the Device Manager list, the drive is then
in the list, but he is listed as a drive of Toshiba.
I'm assuming that this disc of Toshiba external hard drive, you could buy for use
    with the R100.

The Lacie drive works, but it seems preloaded the R100 CD / DVD
pilots are contradictory in some way and is made using the player very touched and don't miss.
He often gets 20% about a facility, then crashes.

Is there a spare driver I can download that I can replace the toshiba
    drivers with?

As if by having the Lacie 100% functional means there is obviously a
    How to overcome the problems.

Hope you girls and guys can shed some light on this for me.
    Thank you.

    Hello, Larry

You will be very happy if someone will be able to give you some explanations in this regard. I can tell you more: the fact is that this model is created and tested to work with Toshiba compatible external devices. Because of this, Toshiba built in all the necessary drivers in the operating system preinstalled. It should help the installation and also drive fast and quick recognition.

This does not mean that you MUST use discs from Toshiba. Of course you can use what you want, but the only problem can be when you try to install the OS. Toshiba recovery image contains drivers for Toshiba drives and recovery procedure will work without any problem because the external sides will be immediately recognized.

I recommend to visit the Lacie support page and check if you can find some driver it. Toshiba has nothing to do with it, if you use a third party product.

Often, he gets 20% approximately of a plant then crashes sorry but I t did not understand what you mean with it and what you mean with 20%. Second part of your ad is very confusing and I really don t know what you mean.

    Good bye

  • Problem with CD/DVD on a Satellite of 1135 drive

    Hello
My computer does not recognize his own CD/DVD player. It works fine, but after I ripped some CD and watched some DVD over a short period of time all of a sudden the drive disappeared from my computer and Device Manager, as if it did not exist. I left the computer off for 24 hours and she came back. This worked well for a few days, but now he disappeard, this time for good. Is there anything I can do myself to fix? I would be grateful any ideas...
    see you soon
    Ka.

    Hello

You can try to sett the OS returns with the XP system restore setting. Maybe something damage your running system. It's the best way to solve it!

If this does not work, you can look in the Device Manager if the CD is detected in a right way!

You have all runing tools which can occure problems with the CD player, as Manager of the speed of the CD player or something else!
