• Suggestion thread G6 710 Predator feel software improvement

  Then myself and others have had problems with the turbo feature on this computer, the culprit is the software of predator feel... even now it may or may not be functional, hard to say that I see no difference in the benchmarks with more fast/turbo engaged.  Would be nice to know if this is desired, see this thread here for the breakdown of my experience, if you are interested:

  The reason why I decided to start this thread, it is that I feel like the Predator software is a little thin wise function and could use a flourish or two to make an experience for everyone even better.  The main thing for me so far has been:

  -Add the ability to turn lights on business without incurring the turbo mode.

  I feel like a 4 GHz processor is fast, not sure I'll really in turbo often pretty frickin enough to enjoy the lights case back which looks like a waste.  There may be people out there who will never use turbo... should not have the ability to see this machine fully illuminated... I feel that I would probably leave the lights on 75% of the time if I could.  I also read reviews that challenge the turbo light only as an odd choice.

  If anyone has any other suggestions, I hope that Acer will take note and adds a feature or two!

  Lately my iPhone 5 button crashes is one problem with others?

  Which button? There are 4 buttons and a switch to the iPhone; House, volume up, volume down, sleep/wake and the "secret" key.

Unless you put something in the comments field (and you should never put private information in any comments anywhere unless you are certain about it at 100%), then there is no private information. I don't know your report for one of the thousands of others unless you told me that the ID associated with it. So I don't know what you're worried about here.

• CVIXML makes PrintDlg/PrintDlgEx crash under Windows 7 (32 bit)

  I was able to reproduce the crash. It probably occurs because the PrintDlg function uses COM and it must require the thread to be initialized like cloisonne. And by default, the XML driver (via ActiveX CVI library) will initialize it differently, unless it is already initialized.

  The accident goes if you initialize the thread yourself, before calling one of the XML functions:

• The Media button freezes in Palm Desktop!

  I chatted with the guys at palm, and I'm getting nowhere fast!  I have a Centro through Verizon and everything works perfectly, except that the Media on the Palm Desktop button crashes whenever I try to go into it.  It will say "loading" on the bottom, but he never goes anywhere, and the rest of the program crashes while I have to end up using the Task Manager.  I have Vista, but I don't think that should I need to download update Vista palm offsite, because I just got the phone about 2 weeks ago.  The two guys on the cat both try to help me to clear up my registry and then I had to uninstall and reinstall office, but all without success.  3 hours of cat made me think that they know what they are talking about!  Does anyone else have this problem?  And, if so, how to solve?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Thank you for your help, hardbeatz, but I finally realized my problem via the service line customer palm (didn't realize it's free in the first 90 days of purchase).  It turns out that the media on palm desktop program is not compatible with Vista when Vista has the Media Center suite loaded on this subject.  Not sure how that affects him, but obviously this is the case.  I don't have a laptop with Vista that doesn't have a Media Center on this subject, and I can run palm desktop on it perfectly.  So I can just sync to two computers, according to my needs and they work a challenge to palm to do, too.  Thanks again for your help!

  Hello. I have a project in CP7 with about 40 slides. Each slide has several buttons on it, and that one button is the correct path through the project. All the other buttons have error reporting by using advanced actions so that the learner is passed to a slide of the error, said that they are wrong, and they have the opportunity to return to the slide, they were just an and click on the appropriate button.

  This place and works very well in on slide 35. Slide 35, button crashes before moving on to the next slide. This button has an action in advance that is checkling the data for some variables (several buttons to have the same exact tip action, so I don't think it's the AA which is at the origin of the problem... but maybe...). As soon as the student clicks on the button, it takes about 15 seconds (the slide is only 3 seconds...) for Captivate to send them to the next slide.

  The even stranger thing is that EACH BUTTON AFTER this, whether they are correct or not, takes a lot of time to process as well. I thought it's maybe a browser problem, but it crashes on the same key every time. I'm not related to an LMS at all, this isn't a question.

  I already deleted the button and make a new one from scratch and I made a whole new action of tip (with the same functionality, of course) and who have used with the same results. I would do a test file with the features of the bare bones to test it, but the AA even with the exact same settings works on other slides in the project, so I don't think I could reproduce the question if I made a new file cptx with the feature to test.

  Someone out there knows where I should go or can suggest things to study?

• Button alignment problem - it should inherit I think

  I'm on DW CS4 on a processor intel Mac. I have a sticking point with an Email button that runs a mailto link. This button appears only focus properly in IE 6. (For my site, I use patterns among the Dreamweaver CSS templates I customized for my own use.)

  'Container' that this button is located, has a value of text-align: center and I put ' text-align: center "in the attributes of the button. And yet in Firefox and Safari and IE 7, the button crashes every time left.

  I tried to set a fairly large left margin for the button, but it looks fine in the other browsers, and it looks like all twisted up in IE 6.0.

  Is there a happy solution to this dilemma? I appreciate all the help if someone could offer some,

  BTW, I'm now - through models DW CS4 - table without in my site (with a nearly understandable exception: a table of web gallery generated by DW; perhaps a day on that one). If I can do it, anyone can!  I have to brag somewhere or some time on this point, so it is now I guess.

  Maybe it's that browsers interpret your image As... a picture... not in the form of text, so text-align does not apply. If you give your image a display: block; then a margin: 0 auto; It will focus on your space.

  Good job to get rid of tables... DW layouts are a nice help in this direction and good learning AIDS at the same time.

  I have a big problem with the help of subversion in Dreamweaver CS4. Every time when I want to test Dreamweaver connection crashes.

  For example I type as 'a' server, leave all other fields blank and click on the test button-> Crash!

  Unfortunately, it is a known problem. I worked with an engineer from Adobe for a few weeks on this issue.

  The problem seems to be using Subversion 1.6.2. Dreamweaver CS4 uses the Subversion 1.4.5 client library that is not compatible with SVN 1.6.2. The only solution at the moment seems to be to use Subversion 1.4.5 or earlier.

  There are some apps on my iPhone that block immediately at startup.  I noticed that this happens mostly with Tubmlr and Timehop, but happened with Outlook and Snapchat from time to time. Honestly, for a while, I thought it's only on the apps that start with a "T".

  When I run the application, it crashes immediately... but the interesting thing is that when I double click on the home, the app button "crashed" present in the multitasking window as if it it launched. If I try to switch to it, it crashes again.

  The only remedy seems to be reset the phone, but invariably it happens again in a few days.  This has happened for a few months, it seems not to be a problem with the applications themselves, more with something in the iOS.

  A reflection as to how this could be repaired?

  I would try to remove the apps, perform a forced reboot and reinstall applications. If the problem persists, I would try a system restore.

  Force restart:

  Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

  Restoration:

  First save your device via iTunes. Import your photos on your computer, and then copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test.   OK, so had my g6-710 delivered today and it's a beautiful machine to the search + low noise BUT,.

  1, trouble I think = the rumble on the side panels lights don't work only one that surrounds the turbo button makes

  Hey guys,.

  1st post here, do not find the exact answer, I need to search google/forum.

  Basically, what I want to do, it's after playing / streaming video HD (online content), preload of the other two and after a choice is made, unload unwanted choice.

  The choice will be made thanks to a pair of button crash or a choice of animation.

  The problem is that I am new to Action Script/After effects/Streaming in general. Rest assured however, I have a background in programming, will probably understand the steps in the Action script so.

  The key is that the level 2 videos are preloaded to be played perfectly against the first and obviously want to free the memory used for unwanted choice.

  I will be plugged other videos further along, but think an example of how to do this should be enough in the development of the latter.

  Advice on where to start would be great...

You can also find that I am in the wrong section of the Flash forums, so please let me know here too, as I'm new to Flash and don't know not all components.

  I got my starting a number of years, before AS3 and don't make the switch yet... but for someone starting out, I would definitely recommend using AS3.

  But I really can't be a great help... to show you that some things can be done in Flash (and my examples are all AS2).

  The reason why I ask webcast is because you have to deal with video bitrate and different Internet connection download speeds. You will need to encode the video with a good flow and format with several videos and webcasting, to realize that your viewers do not have the speed of Internet connection in order to download several files at once. Here is a small review of another post:

  Video bitrate

  One of the principle of goal setting is to "begin with the end in mind". In this case, it will be very difficult to give good recommendations because the end is not defined. So I'll just make a few assumptions and you can correct me if necessary.
  First, I'll assume that you convert Flash, whether you want to broadcast this video on the Internet. If that's true, then going to make some assumptions about your potential viewers Internet connection download speeds. Let's just say that most have at least a 1.5 MB connection or faster.
  OK, that would mean that a video bitrate of half that generally provide a video download that is not interupped by the buffering (most of the time anyway). So assuming a video bitrate of 750 kbps, what would be the optimal display size?
  Before decide us, here's a little info on the bitrate. To read more high quality, the bitrate of the video is directly related to the size of the screen. In other words, more display, incoming data more are needed to correctly display the video. Think of bitrate in terms of a can of paint. If you have 1 quart of paint, you might be able to do a very nice job on an area of 32 X 24 feet. But if you try to stretch the same amount of paint on a surface area of 64 X 48 feet, the coverage is not as good and you get mediocre results.
  Similarly, a video display to 640 X 480 pixels will require 4 times the baud rate as a video displayed at 320 X 240 pixels to produce the same quality. Thus, for example, a video with a speed of 100 kbps, 160 X 120 displayed will produce the same quality results as a video with a bitrate of 1600 kb/s is displayed in 640 X 480.
  So, to sum it all, 750 Kbps, even up to 1000 kbps video rates can usually get delivered high-speed Internet on most connections. Higher rates may work for connections very fast but will cause problems for viewers with slower connections. Video display size has a direct impact on the final quality. In the range of 750 to 1000 Kbps, display size should be maintained around 450 or 500 width max (and whatever the height proportions claims). Yes it can be displayed larger, but the quality will suffer.
  Sounds like the audio settings are fine, especially for delivery on the Internet.
  Regarding the framerate, maintain the framerate video original raw for best results. Therefore, if the clip was shot at 24 frames per second, let him.
