Turn off the section of the script while testing

Is there a way to disable a section of script that you can test other sections? I know that you can enter "/ /" but which requires to enter at the beginning of each line of code. Is there a way to enter something at the beginning of a section and the end of this section which would disable to run?

  • Is there a a way to turn off the screen while using a DOS program?

    I have an A4 and recently when you use a program to BACK hard drive (which may take several hours) I found that I was unable to turn the display off.

    Of course, the usual display controls depend on Windows but surely there must be a way to do this in the BACK?

    Hello

    I don t think that there is a way to use a DOS program. All Toshiba and public services programs are designed for Windows OS and they work only in Windows environment.
    I m no programmer but I think it s is not possible.
    Moreover you will not find any solution to your problem. There are users looking for solutions to common problems and questions.
    In my opinion, look for a solution in forums for programmers and software developers.

    I just got a new VCR Camileo H20. Directly from the box.

    I m H20 not owner but I have a Camielo: 30. But the two are very similar, the sound-> off the coast of the option that you can find in the menu does not sound recording via microphone, but the sound that appears by pressing the buttons by navigating through the menu.

    If you can not turn off the sound while you record a video.

    There is an option to disable "Power on by using LCD Panel.  This deactivation allows you to record with the LCD closed and so will extend the life of the battery while recording.  The option to disable should be found in the configuration menu of the system (which resembles a key) and the option you choose is 'Off '.

    How can I correct this defect?

    Since when you noticed this problem?
    You installed Microsoft updates before it starts to happen?

    Try to define the button / stop like turn off the laptop and test whether the same thing will happen again.

  • After the upgrade from Office 2007 to Ofice 2010 on my Vista, then my computer turns off after being idle for a while.

    After upgrade Office 2007 to Office 2010 on my Vista, then my computer turns off after being idle for a while. When I turn on my computer, I get the splash screen indicating that Windows has finished unexpectedly and I would like to start in safe mode or normally (pluss a couple more choice...).

    Appears not to occur if there is activity going on--as if do me some work or have itunes playing music or I'm just surfing the internet. Curiously, it seems not to happen if I close Internet Explorer and Outlook.

    I shot all automatic updates for Windows Vista (32 bit) and Microsoft Office.

    Concerning

    B Odd Andersen

    Hi B Odd Andersen,

    I want to clarify if your computer seems to be sleeping or it completely closed after being idle for a while.

    Method 1: If the computer is in power saving mode, check if you can wake the computer from this State by moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard.

    Method 2: Change the power to another and check to see if the problem persists
    Change, create, or delete a power plan (scheme)

    Method 3: check the logs in event viewer for more information on auto-off down

    Open event viewer

    What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)

    Note: For your safety and security, it is not recommended to disable Windows Update.
    Activate the update or disable automatic

  • How to turn off the menu in the middle of the screen while you take a picture?

    Hello everyone!

    It's something similar to this post: turn off the menu in the center of the screen.

    But the problem is displayed while taking a photo: I am posting one alarm full screen mode and wait for the interactions of the user on the screen or on the action button. This interaction takes the picture (and triggers my specific treatment), but it also displays elements of specific menu in the middle of the screen.

    Are there settings to set the field that contains the VideoControl to avoid this behavior?

    Thanks in advance.

    OK, the solution is to add a "return true" after the specific action, like this:

    protected boolean invokeAction(int action) {
        boolean handled = super.invokeAction(action);
        if(!handled)
        {
            if(action == ACTION_INVOKE)
        {
                takePicture();
                return true;
            }
        }
    }

  • Turning off the screen of the device while loading - pink

    Last night, I forgot I had the player load via the AC charger and attempted to turn the unit off when I noticed a pink screen lights up but the screen went dark before having seen what was the info.  What is the info that appears when you try to turn the unit off when it is supported?  Any possible damage to the unit?  (It still works fine)

    If you try to turn off the drive so that it is connected to a wall charger, I think that the pink screen message is "Go to stand-by Mode" or something similar. It isn't anything to worry about.

  • How can I turn off the monitor (e.g., "standby") via the command line at the push of a button (or any other shortcut need not additional software)?

    Hello

    I don't like it when, after a break from work on my PC, the screen turns off as set up through "Power Options" in the control panel. That's why I put the relatively high threshold.
    However, when I know that I will not need the computer for a while, I want to save energy and wish the mode "sleep" could be activated immediately. Turn off the screen is not an option, because it has a USB hub built-in - off completely would be to unplug any connected device. Usually, if the computer has always works and might need the resources connected.

    Ideally, by pressing a button (or start a program or something), the screen would immediately go in mode 'sleep'.

    On systems prior to Vista and 7, IIRC, running a command in the sense of:
    Rundll32.exe user32.dll, SendMessage (HWND_BROADCAST, WM_SYSCOMMAND, SC_MONITORPOWER, 2);
    would do the trick. The dll should run the command to set the monitor to sleep. We could create a shortcut or even integrate the command in a batch file, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on Vista or 7.

    Does anyone have an idea on how to do it on Windows 7?

    I would strongly try to avoid having to install any additional software to help me. (There is quite a little all about, even free applications that promise to do exactly that, but I want to avoid them if possible.) "And I can't believe that this basic that could be done on XP cannot act more on 7!).

    Thank you for your help,
    NicApicella

    Hello

    Sleep is one thing and switching Off the Display is quite another.

    I found a way to turn off the screen in case you don't have a hardware switch or a keyboard shortcut as in my Dell Inspiron laptop (Windows 7).

    Create a batch with the following script file:

    echo off

    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-dc 1
    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-ac 1

    START/min/Wait C:\Windows\System32\scrnsave.scr s

    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-dc m1
    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-ac m2

    with the idle time to turn off your screen set in the Control Panel, replace m1 and m2.

    Control Panel > Power Options > any 'Active' diet Plan > change Plan settings > disable the display setting (minutes).

    For example, in my computer laptop m1 = m2 = 30 and 10.

    Now create a shortcut to the batch file and optionally assign a keyboard shortcut and an icon.

    Explanation of the script:

    The first two commands sets the idle time Display Off for the minimum possible setting of 1 Minute for the AC and DC (battery) power. The third command put the system mode blank screen saver 'instantly' and / Wait for the screensaver to terminate application. After 1 minute of inactivity, the monitor turns off power completely.
    The Saver screen/Wait is over by the event of the reactivation of a movement of the mouse button, the last two lines of code will come back the idle time-out settings of origin defined in the Panel view. This to ensure that after waking up, the display does not Turn off all 1 minute of inactivity expire.

    I don't want to turn off the on-screen keyboard.  Whenever I'm in mircosoft word, typing a document, it is upwards.  I use my fingers to scroll and down to my Word document while I work on that.  But if I touch the screen wrong then the on-screen keyboard appears.  It is very stirring.  I want to disable the onscreen keyboard without turning off the touch screen.  How can I do this?

    My question has nothing to do with the signature in my computer.  It has everything to do with me working on documents in Microsoft Word.

    Of course you can do it.

    I do not know what power profile that you use, but if you use the balanced power plan type parameters and sets Turn off the option to display for 1 minute.
    I do the same when the laptop is running and when I want to listen to my favorite online radio station. I put it at 1 minute.

  • How to turn off the LCD on Satellite L655-1JV?

    Hello!

    I have a * Toshiba Satellite L655-1jJV * and I would like to know how I can * turn off the LCD screen *. I tried to use the F5 key, but it does not give me the option to change (always the LCD on except if I connect an external monitor.)
    Of course, I mean, turn off the lcd screen so that, for example, I rose from the monitor, and I'm listening to music...

    I'm really looking for the answer!

    In s manuals document is clearly described when you use the FN + F5 key combination and has nothing to do with it turn off the LCD screen.

    If you need not display and it should be OFF while you listen to music please change the display settings in power options. In the power settings, there is option turn off the screen. Set it to 1 minute and everything will be OK.
