Turn off the XBOX 360 on Windows 7 wireless controller
I have an Xbox 360, so I bought a receiver of wireless XBOX 360 to play with the controller on Windows and works very well. But the only two ways I found to disable the controller, takes off the bateries or wait to turn off automatically, but it wastes bateries.
Is there an app or whatever it is to turn it off manually?
Thank you
No, there is no way to turn it off without removing the batteries.

Can share files with the XBox 360 to Windows 7, but unable to connect to Windows Media Center
I reinstalled my system of exploitation of 64-bit Windows 7 to Windows 7 32 bit and reinstalled the documents to the user and the location of the program on a separate hard drive data. I was able to add both my XBox 360 on Windows Media Center Extender at least 15 times before that, but it's the only time wherever I reinstalled with 32-bit and moving the location of the documents to another drive (even if I still have them settle there but just by changing the location under properties after the operating system is installed).
When I try to add the Xbox 360 as an Extender, it goes up to like making up the 'contact' on the Xbox loading screen, but then the Media Center on the PC says something in the sense of "Windows Media Center has encountered an error... »
Anyone can shed some light on this situation?

How to you turn off the warnings on pages window
How disable you the warning of substituted fonts, etc. during the opening or reopening of a Pages document? I'm tired of seeing it almost everytime I open the Pages. The last straw for me was the appearance of "warning: there is no warnings. If not, where can I find and install common missing fonts when you work on .docx documents imported into Pages (like Calibri)?
There is no way to prevent the Committee of cautions, only the possibility to hide after she appeared via the view menu: hide warnings.
Pages will not invent the fonts or font styles if they are not installed. MS Word will invent false appearances bold and italics, and when the actual fonts are not installed on OS X, you will get this warning sign.
Microsoft Office fonts (Calibri, Cambria, etc.) are allowed by Microsoft through Office 2016 for Mac or Office for Mac 2011 facilities. They are not freely downloadable on the web, as some would say. If someone downloads and uses a Windows font only or download a free Internet police - and use it in a Word document that is not provided by Microsoft or Apple, then you will get an another warning sign. It is a real PITA without police discipline and foresight on the exchange of paper.

Unable to turn off the built-in in Windows 7 Home Premium Administrator account
I can't disable the built-in Windows 7 Administrator account. I tried to do it via a command prompt with "net user administrator / active: No. ' but all this, after the reboot, is display an error message about the incorrect user name or password and presents the administrator account as an option to login anyway (with an option for"other users"). But if I try to connect to the administrator account a password for log-in, which I did not.If I activate the account (again in elevated command prompt), I can connect as administrator normally, without password.I can always connect to my own account without worrying, but I would like to know how to solve this problem in any case. Can I avoid the error by removing the password from my account, but I don't want to do that.I created a test account Admin attempt to connect to it gives this error:
"The service user profile Service has no logon.User profile cannot be loaded. »Ah, the dreaded problem of profile Service. I've seen dozens of times in this forum, but I have no solution for it. If you do a search on Google you will find countless references to it. I invite you to solve this problem first, before you disable administrator accounts.

How to you turn off the finger entry in Windows 8?
As I understand it, disabling entry finger in earlier versions of Windows 8 was as simple as it was in Windows 7. But with the release of Windows 8 last week, this is no longer the case, and this solution no longer exists. Has been moved to a location more obscure or deleted entirely? To be clear, I (and many others) I try to disable the finger input while maintaining the features of stylus.
If all goes well, it is just as impossible as it may seem, a fix will be on the road in the week. The lack of this feature has converted nearly my tablet to nothing more than a neat toy. I'm strapping cardboard in my hand so that it is based on the screen is no not my slider flip out while I'm working in Flash!1. Yes, exactly. In Windows 7, the option is at the sight in the pen and touch settings. In Windows 8, that option is gone.
2. Yes, I'm looking to disable the entry of finger while being able to use the stylus for input. Most of the options I found don't entirely disables the touchscreen.3. it's a Samsung 7 series Slate PC, model XE700T1A-A01US number. Thanks for your help in advance! I was actually able to find a solution to work with some additional research, which took place in a thread here. Well, what causes a few major flaws as the impossibility to use the entrance at all on the screens as the login screen (for some reason, no stylus support here). Then of course, a much more elegant and more direct route to the option would be simply amazing for artists like me looking for this feature. -
Is there a Windows API that I can use to turn off the touch screen of WIndows 8?
It makes sense for a Tablet have a touchscreen. A valve system, I would like to live without a touchscreen.
I would like to disable the touchscreen disabled if a machine is not in tablet mode. However, I can't find any API to do it on Windows 8. in Windows Mobile, there are APIs such as DisableTouch and EnableTouch. I wish I had such somethings on Windows 8 Pro. When the touch screen is disabled, the OS will never be aware of activity on the touch screen.
Is anyway to do this?
Thank you
Youssef
Hello
It seems that you want to disable the touch screen on a Tablet using the C++ programming language. I suggest that you post your question in the MSDN forums. The community on these forums is more experienced to answer questions related to the programming language.

It's VERY odd and very annoying!
I set up my laptop next to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable directly connecting the laptop to the XBOX, and the laptop is on our wireless network. The XBOX has access to the internet (shared through the laptop), and when I test the PC connection and the connection XBOX Live sound fine to all.
So I'll try to set up Windows Media Center, it works great! I "Add Extender", put the code to 8 digits. It passes through the installation, all works, no problems and WMC opens on the XBOX, I can go into my library, watch movies etc... works great!
However! As soon as I turn my XBOX off and back on, it will fail to connect to the WMC.
He says his 'find Windows Media Center PC' which seems to work fine, it goes to the ' Windows Media Center loading screen "contact...". ", and after about 10 seconds, I get an error"failed to connect the Xbox 360 could not connect to windows Media Center PC. Make sure that the PC is turned on and connected to the network.
I tried to configure the Extender repeatedly, whenever it works fine until I restart the XBOX... :/ - and its strange cause I still the internet connection (shared through the laptop) after turning on the XBOX, its really JUST Media Center which is screwing around.
She continues to keep trying to connect then repeatedly fails.
If I wanted to, I could re-configuration the WMC Extender EVERY TIME turn off the Xbox, which works the first time without fault, but that's all just stupid.
I can't really understand what is happening here... any help would be appreciated.

Media center immediately crashes when I try to add the extender for the Xbox 360
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. I try to add the extender for the Xbox 360 to Windows Media Center. When I go to Media Center tasks and add an Extender, Media Center crashes immediately after I enter my Xbox console 8-digit code and click Next. I have disabled the firewall of the router and firewall windows without success. Restart the computer and the Xbox has not helped either. Any suggestions that I can not yet put in place the Extender?
Thank you.Hi Eric,.
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum!
According to the description of the problem, it seems that you have trouble connecting Xbox 360 extender for Windows Media Center.
I will certainly help you with this issue.
Here are some methods that you can try in order to solve the problem.
Method 1: Disable the antivirus software and make sure.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: Clear the Xbox 360 console system cache and check.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971755
Method 3: Reconnect to Windows Media Center
In the event that something happened to your connection, try to disconnect and reconnect to your Windows Media Center computer.
To disconnect and reconnect to Windows Media Center:
a. in the Xbox Dashboard, go to My Xbox and open Control Panel.
b. Select computers, Windows Media Center.
c. Select Disconnect.
d. Select the installation program and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Media Center Windows Installer. For more information, see the articles.

Windows Media Center on the xbox 360 extender Feezes
Hello
I have recently updated from windows vista to windows 7 and now can't use my xbox as an Extender as it freezes when opening on my xbox.
I looked through many forums that suggest that it freezes before the opening, for example to connect to the computer, my problem happens after it connects.
I turned off my firewall and now only have the windows firewall, which apparently must allow the connection.
The only other difference is that I bought 2 powerline adapters both capable of speeds of 200 Mbps, so I don't see why they should cause problems.
Any help would be appreciated. My computer knowledge is not really great, but will try all of the suggestions.
Hi Mattlucas1976,
You can also check the firewall and security settings. Sometimes they interfere in the connections. Try to disable them temporarily and check if you are able to connect to wireless internet. Later do reactivate and try to change the settings for the same thing.
Understanding Windows Firewall settings

Disable the anti-virus software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
If this does not resolve the problem, you can try to clear the cache on the Xbox Console and check if that helps. Follow the link given below to clear the cache.
