  • Turn Windows features on or off - games and IE are mutually exclusive?

    When I activate the games help to turn Windows features on or off, IE11 is deleted from my computer and is no longer visible as an option to activate Windows features On or Off.  It is a 2 - day old HP Probook running Windows 7 Professional.

    You mean the power LED button?
    I doubt that you can disable this if the laptop is powered to the top power button led to IT and if the laptop does not work, the power button is OFF.

  • E4200 pre-purchase question: can I set a time to turn the radio on or off table?

    Before you buy, I want to assure you that this router supports turning power switch wireless radio on a schedule that I can set. Digging thorugh guide and the specifications of the user does not have a lot of help. Anyone know?

    Thank you!

    # You can run the parental control on a calendar, but the radio itself cannot be turned on and off at a specific time. You could get a digital clock, however, and it could reset your router every day. I actually thought to do this simply to cycle power to the router from time to time.

  • Turn Windows Defender on or off!

    I'm turning on my Vista Windows Defender, start menu Windows Defender message says that touring turned off and when I try to turn on the computer freezes? Want help to solve this.  Thank you

    If you have MSE, it will prevent Windows Defender to run.

    Microsoft Security Essentials
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials/default.aspx

    MSE is an anti-virus, anti-spam and Anti-Malware program all in one. It's light and very user-friendly Windows. It also contains the same functionality of Windows Defender, making it unnecessary and it won't work because it is not needed.

    It's normal.  You can turn on your laptop and log in all with a single blow.  Try it.  Power off your system and then drag your finger.  If it's a good shot and it is recognized, you are to go turned off to the turning on and connected in your office all with one shot.  You won't even have to re-do slide to authenticate with the operating system.

  • Cannot turn system icons on or off, excluding the clock icon.

    Hello

    The title pretty much everything said. I can turn only the clock system power icon. Everything is grayed out. Now, when I go to the task bar, click Customize and access the power, the network, volume, and center of the action, they are all checked to "display the icons and notifications '. However when I navigate to 'enable or disable system icons' they are all grayed out except the clock. Now I use a HP tx2z which has quick launch buttons. From there I can change the power plan, see my network status and change the volume; However, I can't do this on the taskbar.

    All this happened randomly when I logged on and off my laptop. I tried to reboot several times, closing, create a new power plan, cleaning the registry. I tried to open the policy editor of group local and disabling the option 'Remove Battery Meter' as stated in this similar question but there is no option to do so. There is an option for all other icons that appear dimmed.

    The pictures showing the problem can be seen here , here , here and here . Highlight the link to see the description. I didn't install anything.

    Thank you!

    Patrick

    I found the problem. I had a custom theme installed and how I installed it (through the registry by changing the shell at a "Explorer" different but I nominated is something else) disabled icons. This is probably because these icons have been 'search' for the shell named "Explorer" not what I had changed to. Anyone who the problem is resolved and thanks for helping me! -Patrick

  • Help with dynamically created components (turning point properties on or off)

    Hi all! I'm working on an application with a bunch of delegates of control is created dynamically.

    Here's my use case-scenario:

    I do a type app GPA calculator, and instead of hard coding a lot of drop-down lists for students select notes, I created a custom component. According to the documentation, each component created dynamically are destroyed until the parent TI auto is destroyed. ControlDelegate seems to be a better option that you can set the flag to false to make the component to go.  I created a delegate of control that uses the custom of the list drop-down and added a few aliases to give each a name of object on creation. Now, my problem is that I can't understand the correct item call to the property delegateActive set to false to make the element disappear.

    Here is the delegate of the control:

    import bb.cascades 1.2

    Container {
        property alias cT : classTitle.text
        property alias oN : obName.text
        property alias dN : dDown.objectName
        property alias cdF : dDown.delegateActive
        property alias dDown : dDown

        topPadding: 10.0
        bottomPadding: 10.0

        ControlDelegate {
            id: dDown
            sourceComponent: droDwn
            delegateActive: true
        }
        attachedObjects: [
            ComponentDefinition {

                id: droDwn
                GpaDD {
                    ddPro {
                        title: cT
                        objectName: oN
                    }
                }
            }

        ]

        Label {
            id: classTitle
            text: ""
            visible: false
        }
        Label {
            id: obName
            text: ""
            visible: false
        }

        onTouch: {
            console.log(dDown.delegateActive + " " + dDown.objectName)
        }
    }

    on the home page, I have the following code to create a new component:

    How can I find the last delegate of control created to define the delegate tag as wrong?

    Any help is appreciated!

    You have so much you need to do it this way?
    Why not just have a placeholder for * each * drop-down list and turn them on and off individually using delegateActive?
