  Indeed, it is possible that you do not drive enough current for the relay.  You can check the specifications of your USB-6211 and see that the digital line will result in a maximum of 16mA.  That being said, your relay control current that is needed, you may need to run the two outputs in parallel to offer twice more common provided.  Recently, I drove a Soviet Socialist Republic of a Luminary Micro Prototype Board that did not provide enough current as well.  In the case of the tat, I was driving the relay by running two lines in parallel.

  You can always simplify the software side of things by opening the measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and right click on your device and select test panels.  "" ' Start ' programs ' National Instruments ' Measurement & Automation then expand devices and Interfaces. Right-click and select Test panels.  You can then configure a digital output for your USB-6211 and toggle On / Off and check out.

  The laptop comes with Windows Vista Home. I went down the system to Windows XP

  I m not 100% sure if my advice will help you to solve this problem, but usually you have to upgrade the BIOS to the XP version if you want to use XP on this Vista machine.
  In addition, you must install all the drivers of Toshiba in the right order

  If your laptop computer is properly connected to the TV using just the FN + F5 key combination to switch to the TV. Also check that your TV S-video port is enabled.

  You don? t need all the drivers because preinstalled driver is already tested with TV and there everything is OK.

  I have a Dell S2740L. When I connect my 2.1 speakers to the audio input of the monitor, I can hear that the left speaker. I tried every thing (hdmi cable and the and the speakers) and they all work very well. Looks like the audio Jack has a problem. Could someone please help me is fix. If there is no solution can I buy a replacement audio jack and install it myself? Please answer as soon as possible.

  You can try to disconnect the cables all plugged into the S2740L, including power cable, wait 5 minutes, then reconnect in the hope that it will restart. There is no replacement part. Make sure that S2740L appears in the sound reproduction and is verified. If still no go, everything you can do is get it exchanged.

  Hi, if you go to display properties and 'Advanced' there are options regarding output TV settings. You should be able to PAL/NTSC, including output video overlay if you watch video clips. Also, make sure that your TV is capable of receiving the signals S-video, most don't and only give a true b & w but you can buy a S-Video to Composite converter places like Maplin, that should work.

  It's fading, but a bit faster than the bottom. Try it: do the fading in the longer time and you will see the discoloration on the text. I just checked.

  Alternative with more control: put the text into a legend of transparent text on top of the other button with background and apply an effect (0%) Alpha to 100% on this text.

• Satellite Pro A60 - does not start

  My A60 will not start. The power supply is plugged with a green light on the power supply and the A60. The battery is full (light began in orange and is now green). Nothing happens when you press the power button.

  Tried to take the battery out and running on AC, but no change.

  Try to remove the battery and also diconnecting the AC power for a few minutes. Then re-install the battery and try to turn on the unit. If this does not work, then remove the battery and plug in the AC power. Again try to power on the device.

  If none of the above works then you will need to refer to a Service partner authorized to have the laptop checked.

  I have a Satellite Pro a60 and I'm pulling out my S-VHS to function... This does not work very well.

  I connected all the cables right and right click on the desktop, again choose preferences, then on Preferences, but I can't find anything on the transmission of the video signal.

  I have not though as the configuration standard of Toshiba, but that shouldn't matter. I'm running WinXP SE, but the drivers for my card ATI is about two years old and I can not find a suitable one anywhere, this is the problem, or should I program utility ATI?

  You should also check the TV settings. You must choose the right channel.
  As in the previous announcement suggested, you can change the display device using the FN + F9 key combination.
  If you want to play the DVD with the WinDVD player for example if you first need to change the output of the TV and then start the WinDVD.
