  • BlackBerry Z10 passwords password Keeper app restore

    Hello

I use a version of the OS BB Z10 10.2.1.3062

I did a fulle backup my phone earlier in the year (July)

A couple of weeks my phone has started to give me problems and I had to reboot.

I decided not to do a full restore.

I tried to restore my password for my password Keeper application, but it did not.

I also tried the suggestion in

    http://BTSC.webapps.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/ViewDocument.do?externalId=KB33623&sliceId=2&cmd=displayKC&d...

but it did not work. After the restoration, the app will be available, when I open it, it will ask me to enter a new master password and there is no password in the vault.

    Please help

    Thank you

If you did a custom restore, you should restore 'Data Device Settings, calendar' & Contacts, to recharge the password keeper.

  • IPhone apps/data backup

    Hello

Can someone help me? I take my phone in the store shortly for geniuses, as my charger Plug does not work. You must keep the charger in and to the right to load. In the meantime, they can replace my iPhone but I want to make sure my backup restore my applications and their data (lots of game and app info) I did not use the cloud, but have backed up my phone to a computer... but I do not see any of the applications on the PC so how will this work when it comes to restore the new phone?

Am I missing something? I'm worried that I will bring the new phone to have no applications or data and no photo! I followed the instructions on the apple website and it seems to have backup up successfully, but what will happen with a new phone?

Do the apps restore to the phone but then download off WiFi or they download from the PC via the cable of lightning?

    I'm confused

    Thank you

  • try to put in place the new to iphone on itunes backup with restoration done the previous phone

Try to restore again SE with a backup that I did earlier today with 5, whenever I connect to itunes SE he asks me if I want to set up as a new phone or restore from a backup.  I choose the backup that I did earlier today and go through the whole process.  Some of my apps restore and no voice message.  ITunes recognizes the phone as having been backed up and continues to ask me how I want to configure the phone.  I did the whole process 3 times.  I have a real phone, restarted itunes... What can I do else?

I suggest you all first set your phone as new, and after it is operational connecting to iTunes and then restore the backup. Make sure you have iTunes 12.3.3 on your computer, they are required for the iPhone OS.

  • What is the standard way to backup / restore the application options?

    Hello

I was wondering what is the standard way to backup / restore application options (scenario: options backup to memory card, the user reinstall OS, reinstall app, restore options)

I would rather not put up my own encode / decode routines if possible.

I've seen several approaches used in real-world applications:
    * csv like data file
    * binary storage (Berry, weather)
but I'm not aware on how they have been implemented.

    Any ideas / suggestions?

    Here's the "official" way

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/backup-and-restore-small-amounts-of-data-USI...

This works if people use Desktop Manager to switch devices.

I think that most people will write their own serialization code to convert objects into a form of byte (as you saw csv, or own format or XML) and then put that somewhere - like your own server for application aware network or SD card.  This approach works, regardless of the method, users of user to switch devices.

  • Review of an installation of Win 7 Home Premium with apps on 2 discs, C and e.

When I installed Win7 on my new homebrew, I put in a small 80 GB SSD, but used as Boot C: drive... some programs and Windows itself are here. However, since that, I installed other programs on E: in the appropriate folders (when the installation says C:\Program Files\xxxxxx, I change E: and everything works fine).

However, with SSDS drop in price, I would now like to migrate ALL my program files/folders to a disc SSD C: only selectively choose E: records for sides and put an end to things like zero files, personal photos, etc... However, if I am able to pay a 256 GB SSD, it could hold on C.

My question is how do I record everything I installed and move to a more SSD?

I REALLY don't want to redo from scratch (I realize is an option - but not a good thing for me - I'll keep split them upward)... The difficulty arose recently when some applications install did not offer an option to replace the default location of the C drive, so too ends up going there, that I don't want. (Only concerned about running out of space on C:; haven't really needed the lightning pace of the SSD - my C:/e combo: work well for almost 2 years).

Any help would be appreciated. I have enough in-depth skills PC as editing the registry if necessary, but the simplest best - short of re - install!

Use a backup software Image App. restore the C: drive is using the Image file on the SSD new and bigger and then make changes in program files, some of which will have to be resettled. Or you can create a second partition for the new SDS and assign it to the E: drive letter and restore the image of E: on the SSD. Thus the new SSD will be a C: and E: partition.

  • BlackBerry smartphone App Dissappeared from MyWorld

I bought the app BeBuzz a couple of last week, downloaded, installed, activated all very well.

After wiping and restore my phone however (to get rid of ghost messages) I had to re-activate my apps - so I went MyWorld in the Blackberry App World application to get the registration number.

What I found was that it was registered as being uninstalled - so I decided to reinstall whichpoint he prompted me to warn me that a previous version was already installed (same version) and I didn't want to crush to-to which I said 'no '.

At this point the application moved to the top of the MyWorld list (above the tab installed and uninstalled) that I thought was weird so I clicked again to check the status of the installation thinking that the problem would be solved, and I would say that I bought the app and its installed.

To my supprise however he showed as not installed and not even bought! I managed to get a number of activation of BeBuzz via their website and I received for the purchase, so I don't understand why BeBuzz has suddenly MyWorld disappear as well I bought and I'm on the system developers.

Can anyone help? Where can I get a purchased app restored to my account?

    1. open the App World
    2. go to my world
    3. to focus on the BB keyboard - hold down the ALT key and press "RST."
    4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

I got the application Parallels on my Macbook Pro. Suddenly, an update alrert came when I tried to launch parallels. I hit accidentally YES. It was updated and now I need to enter the activation key once again, that I do not have access to.

So, I tried to restore the image of Time Machine application (just app restore but not the restoration of the whole image).

Now I can see the icon of the parallels application with a gray cicrle crossed on this subject. I can't launch the Parallels. Also I can't get the activation key if I reinstall parallels.

How to fix the restored application?

Also another question is, my timemachine showed some images of backups, but when I rebooted my macbook, I lost all my previous bodies timemachine.

Now, I am in a position to fix my parallels application, but may not be bale to do.

    Please, help me to understand:

    (1) why an application gets this circle crossed out around her? and how to fix it without reinstalling.

    (2) why I lost all my images TimeMachine on restart the Macbook?

  • Software BlackBerry software update available (q10) - is it a known problem

BlackBerry link reports that there is a software update available for my Q10. It shows the 10.1.0.2030 version is available. But this version is already on my device. Is this a known bug that BB-Link is not check that version is already installed on the device?

That's exactly right. I had deleted one of the pre-installed applications. I moved the app restored in a unused applications folder as you suggested. Disconnection and reconnection to BB-Link, is more which indicates that an updated version is underway. Thank you.

  • Missing after iTunes restore App news

I just restored my Air iPad via iTunes. I couldn't remember the password encryption so I used my iPhone backup to restore my iPad because I could remember this password. Most things seem to be back to normal apart from the news application that is missing. I can't even download it from the App Store because it shows that he is already on the iPad and click on 'Open' takes me to a page of 'localhost' to Safari that remains silent. What should I do?

    Thanks for the kind help.

  • Restore the iPad App via Time Machine?

Let's see if I can explain it clearly without writing a novel...

We used iBank on a series of iPads in Quicken replacement.  iBank was wonderful.

A few days ago, we decided to accept the upgrade to the new version of the App.  The upgrade has changed the name of the application of Banktivity 5.0.3.

After the update the app is more responsible, is back with ' an error occurred during the migration of permanent storage' and when we hit OK you get the spinning wheel of death, eternally.  Fearing yet another Apple HW question I made the mistake to immediately an iPad manual backup because I did not know when the last of them automatic was and I didn't lose anything else on the iPad.

The iPad is running 9.3.1 model number MD516LL/a H/W.

We have iTunes to save 'automatically' iPad 'to this computer.  We do not use the cloud.

I had an exchange of mail with the support of the IGG, but when we walked in the restoration of a previous automatic backup on the iPad, they were out of their depth.  I have no complaint with their support, they do not know where are stored the backups or how to proceed.

So, that's where it gets interesting/frustrating.

I try to use Time Machine to restore the App from a previous version in iTunes and then sync to iPad.

I do not see the backup files to iPad specific laptop I use for backup "automatic" iTunes "to this computer.  I see the list of applications on the iPad iTunes in the ' users > Shared > iTunes > directory of Mobile Applications.  I'm going back in time in Time Machine to find the last backup the previous version of iBank has or Banktivity iTunes before 5.0.3... in the hopes of restoring just that specific app and data...

... Previous Time Machine backups have iBank or Banktivity listed in the applications!  I have looked far and sought to my heart's content, but none are here.  All other applications will appear in the list, but not iBank or Banktivity.  Now, I'm stumped... Why would not appear anywhere in the last backups?

Having lost all historical and current in the iBank data are a pretty big disaster if I don't want to take the risk of ruining more by doing a partial or full restore iPad without understanding why the previous of iBank versions and/or Banktivity do not appear in the lists before the last manual of Time Machine backup?

The iPad is an ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Real applications are not stored in the backup (which contains the content of applications, your settings, documents, photos etc), restoration (backups are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/on a Mac, a backup is not designed to be readable by the user) would look to pick up the application of the section My Apps from your iTunes library - so looking for a old backup iPad in Time Machine won't help your find the app.

As to why the app does not appear in your Time Machine backup of your folder "Mobile Applications", looking for the correct name of the application (the name that shows in your iTunes Apps my chapter cannot be the same as the file real .ipa computer/time Machine; some of my friends have very different names)?
