HP Pavilion Slimline 400 - 020l: Compatible for HP Pavilion Slimline 400 graphics card - 020l

Hello

Please give me recommendation or choice, compatible (vga) graphics card for HP Pavilion Slimline 400 - 020l available on the market.

Hello

You need an active UEFI, low profile graphics card low power with support of full size.  Sometimes graphics cards are supplied with two brackets.  Your PC has only a 270-Watt power supply, so your pickins will be limited.

I saw a few cards that could work but all graphics cards manufacturer recommend a greater power.

A higher power Slimline power of Athena could work in your PC.

You can use GPU - Z to determine performance (band memory bandwidth) as a starting point for when you are looking for a graphics card.

Hi guys, im using a HP Pavilion Elite 340uk desktop computer that came with a Geforce GT320 video card. The map is gone... dead disappeared and I'm looking for a better replacement. Can I get some suggestions of compatible with my motherboard (MS-7613) graphics cards. ? So, if I change this card with a better, should I upgrade of feeding as well? Thanks for your help.

    Hello:

My recommendation would be to get a GT430... you won't need to change the P/S.

Just make sure you get one with an interface 128-bit for the best performance memory (I think there may be a few models with a 64-bit memory interface).

  • Pavilion dv6: ATI Graphics Card not included

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 I bought end of 2010 (see specifications below) with 'Intel core i5' card 'ATI Mobility Radeon Premium Graphics"included (just like the stickers on my machine ad).

However, the other day I was certainly a bit stupid, I'm an irritable person, but I decided to download updates for my ATI driver on the AMD Web site. However after a few days later so I found that the card had ceased to operate, disappear from my device manager and my CCC catalyst has stopped working. After some research, I decided to uninstall my AMD Catalyst stuff (practically everything what I downloaded the other night was included inside), which automatically chose my graphics card for the "Intel(r) HD Graphics" card which is really bad as I play on this computer.

I tried reinstalling my ATI card via the AMD Web site but nothing actually installed other than directories and I also tried the Recovery Manager that doesn't work anymore. I decided to uninstall AMD Installation Manager to erase everything which AMD button and try to get help here online.

Here are my features of laptops:

    Family Premium in Windows 7 (x 64)

    Intel (r) Core i5 CPU

    HARD DRIVE 500 GB

4 GB RAM (8 GB of RAM now after a recent upgrade of RAM)

1 GB graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon Premium graphics, the card that does not work)

A big thank you to anyone and everyone who can be useful, I would really appreciate it!

  • Reference Dell Desktop-replacement for Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 graphics card

Nice day. I hope an expert can help me.

My computer: Desktop computer Studio XPS 8100 Dell, intel Core i7 870 2.93 GHz, 8 MB, etc.
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240 single memory 1 GB. Reading, not sold at retail and is now no longer available.
Unit of power: 350 Watt maximum.

I do not use the computer to play games.

For various reasons, you can Please provide DETAILS for me a graphics card in replacement of approximately the same 'power' +. I can myself, slot load driver and be operational. Don't not changing other pieces (I hope) and there seems to be so many available graphics cards.

I hope for the purchase of the graphics card via Internet, British supplier and then abroad for me.

In the meantime, thank you for your help.

    Leonard

Hi Skanter - just saw this message-hope it comes in time

I had this problem with mine - it was also to achieve 90degC. It is caused by a really poorly designed cooling system - the fins of the radiator are locked behind a metal shield and the fan blows into it.

What you need to do is: -.

    (1) turn off and unplug everything from the PC

    (2) open the side panel and disconnect the audio cables and power of GPU

    (3) remove the mobo

    (4) with the help of a tiny posidrive screwdriver, unscrew the thin metal cover of heat sink

    (5) use a brush to remove all the dirt you may see! DO NOT BLOW IT OUT WITH YOUR BREATH!

    (6) reassemble and hopefully enjoy the silence!

If you still get the noise the chances are some dust penetrated fan (this happened to me when I used compressed air to blow the heat sink). Replacement fans are as rare as horse poop to switch I could not even one of the original manufacturer (path to the bottom of the chain - don't expect any help from Dell or nVidia here, I'm afraid) but are thankfully easy to fix.

    GTS 240 fan fix: -.

I do memory-sorry if I get something slightly wrong!

    (1) remove a map as shown above. Once the radiator fan cover will be exposed.

    (2) very gently, using a pair of small screwdrivers hanging under the blower rotor, gently lift the rotor clear of the case. He doesn't want to go at first, but be patient and try and apply steady pressure on each side.

    3) out of the bearing once clean any muck-it only takes a small amount here because of the noise.

    4) applied with a headset, a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit of WD40 (don't know what this is called in the United States-but it's a wonder spray!) for the bearing

    (5) wipe off - you'll need that the strict residue on the tree

    (6) reassemble and get started!

If you are worried about prising off the rotor (or indeed I was wrong) you can undo the radiator all of PCB by unscrewing the screws with springs on them - this allows access to the screw bit to hold the fan. Then you can cancel these abd slide the cable out which means that you can clean the bottom - but the rotor must always be removed to lubricate the bearings.

    Good luck

  • HP pavilion slimline s3632me graphic card problem

    It's my computer: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01552288 & lang = to & cc = us & conte...

my graphics card has a fan that is not working, and I don't get any signal on my monitor after 20 minutes of start... so I decided to get a new graphics card which is better.

so I want to know what is the max graphics card that I can put in this computer and should I go for the same type (AC express graphics card) or get any type that can work with the computer?

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion Slimline s3632me desktop computer and its card mother M2N61-AR (Acacia). Based on the specifications, this model has a power of 160 watts, a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS PCIe x 16 HDMI and DVI - I outputs and integrated nVidia GeForce 6150SE graphics with a VGA output. Note that the discreet graphics card and the built-in graphics card is not usable at the same time.

You need to replace the graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS PCIe x 16 with a x 16 low profile PCIe graphics card (the card must have a power system recommend assessment of 160 watts or less). All purchased card that has a higher recommended system power supply requirement will require the purchase of a new power supply, follow the recommendations in cards. Your computer's power supply is not a standard ATX power supply and can be difficult to find.

The comutable graphics that are a big part of HP laptops, if this feature does not then the graphics capabilities of the computer go allmost completely in the sewers. I've recently updated my computer to win 10, completely unaware of the lack of graphics cards drivers. So as soon as now I'm basically at this point where I don't know if it's worth the wait or should I format the computer so I can use the old drivers. There may be another solution, I don't know if the old drivers are compatible with windows 10, but I bet that they aren't.

I want to know is how long will it take for these pilot to exist, or if they even continue to exist. I'm not in it that much hurry, but I would still do this as soon as possible.

    Thank you!

Try to install the following driver.

    Hello

The p7-1415 HP has a BIOS version 8 HP and a 300 Watt power supply.

Without the power upgrade, the NVIDIA GTX 750 was rated very in some technical magazines PC. Just look for a model that does not require a PCI-E power connector 6 auxiliary pins.  You should be able to run 1920 by 1080 resolution and always get good pace.

  • Pavilion 500-314: graphics card for 500-314 Pavilion update

Please suggest a graphics card for me.

I have the R7 Radion integrated AMD provided with the motherboard, when I bought the Office a couple of years. Max resolution seems to be 1600 x 1200.  I want to improve my (two) monitors and the graphics card in order to better support my work Adobe Lightfoot.  I did not and never going to make any game.  Power supply of the desktop computer is 300W.

I like to keep the price of the card under $ 100. I've not spotted monitors so I don't know what will be my target resolution, but 1600 x 1200 is too low.

    Thank you.

    @MarkG3, welcome to the forum.

Here is a video card which should do what you need.  It's a little above your budget, but it is really worth the extra money.  The plug on the State of EVGA Web site she needs at least 300W to work properly.  However, there have been several reports on the forum think 400W is needed.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.

If you decide to buy it you can try with your current converter of power supply (PSU).  It will not damage anything.  It simply will not work correctly.

  • HP Pavilion 550-232na: graphics card

    Hello

I want to upgrade my graphics card, but I'm not sure what would be compatible for my pc.

    Details of my pc:

    PC: HP Pavilion 550-232na

Processor: intel core i3-6100 3.70 ghz

    RAM: 8 GB

existing card: graphics intel HD 530

    Ironbreaker1, welcome to the forum.

I think that almost any video card will work on your computer.  However, there are two main considerations: 1) the amount of energy needed to run the card properly and 2) the length of the card.

You certainly need to move the power supply (PSU).  The specifications of the computer state that the PSU is internal and 180W.  Most newer video cards require at least 400W to work properly.  Normally, I would recommend a block of at least 500W Power SUPPLY; 600W is even better.

Here's a video card that should work, but it requires 400W of power.

I love the Corsair PSU.  They make quality products at a reasonable price.  The PSU is the backbone of the computer, it is not the place to save money.  This is a power supply that should work for you.  It is modular which allows you to use only the cables that are absolutely necessary.  This more than makes up for the air circulation.  You should check the space provided for the power supply to make sure it will fit.  In addition, make sure that the connectors.

  • HP Pavilion p6623w video Graphics Card Question.

With the HP Pavilion p6623w, it has an integrated ATI graphics built in. I recently bought a Zotac GeForce gtx 550 ti AMP! Video card and I wanted to install it in the HP System. Unfortunately since I installed it, I had many problems to make same ot games starts. Star Wars: The Old Republic opens the menu and when I click on 'play' it black screens and closed auto itself. The same question comes with League of legends and any demo that I download.

I've updated the drivers as well as other updates that I did to my PC and still no luck, so I'm stuck. I guess it could be my integrated video card?

I can't seem to find a way to disable and exactly how would I have done that?

Please and thanks for the help!

Here are the specifications of your HP p6623w desktop and here are the specs of the ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 550 AMP Ti ! Edition graphics card, you are having problems with. According to the specifications of your computer, your system came with a 250 watt power supply. According to the specifications of the Zotac GTX 550 Ti, it requires a minimum system + 400 watts of power. Unless you have installed a new more powerful PSU, this card will try to draw more power than the PSU will provide.

With regard to the integrated... video card BIOS automatically disables it when it detects a card into the PCIe x 16 slot.
