tweeking for browsers

Hello, I'm trying to build my first free website to the table, it was a bit of a process, but I almost fell.
Unfortunately there is a problem in Safari and Firefox (Explorer works fine) in Safari and firefox a large gap between my footer div and my div. main content
After two days of google-ing, tutorials online, reconstruction of pages and pull general hair I still can not understand. The problem occers when I put more than a div in my editable region (pages where I put the content directly into the editable without div tags, work very well) I think it has something to do with my floats but I don't know what, I tried all the varibles I could think. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

  • Hyperion Planning support for browsers and Windows

    Hello everyone

I have a question about browsers and Windows that support Hyperion planning.

Hyperion is compatible with Windows 10?

Hyperion is compatible with IE 11?

Hyperion is compatible with Firefox (latest version) 43

SmartView is heading the bureau 13?

    Thanks in advance.

    Concerning

    MSA

You will need to provide what version of Hyperion (and Smart View) you are on for people to answer this question precisely as each version is different.

Your best bet (and should always be your first choice in these issues) is to consult the EPM support matrix

  • Captivate use a Java plugin for browsers and what happens when Java is progressively to our on our LMS SCORM course?

Hi, I work with an LMS (called clarity) and our supplier has indicated that when the Java Web browsers plugins are disabled or are more supported come September 2015 (I think they are referring to Chrome for September 2015) that the any of our courses created with Adobe Captivate does more work because they rely on Java to transfer information from the courses in the LMS. Is that correct, and how can this be addressed? We have hundreds of courses created with Adobe Captivate® 5 and up to 8 Captivate, accessible via Internet Explorer, most of the time. All courses are SCORM compatible (1.2 and 2004). Thank you!

Captivate uses JavaScript, not Java. All of the tutorials use JavaScript to interface with the LMS because it is not dependent on server and maintains the shareable part of SCORM intact.

    No worries.

  • Browsers supported oracle developer last version?

    Hello

Please provide me a link for the browsers supported oracle developer last version.

    I searched in vain.

is there a restriction for browsers such as 10g and IE 6 or netscape?

or I can run it on any browser?

-I want to use the latest version, but I don't know if there are some people here can support me with tasks or problems with it,

because I don't know if there are many people who use it or not?

    Thank you

Yes, there are, I think you have not simply to look properly.

If you open the spreadsheet of certification that I pointed you to:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/es/middleware/docs/Oracle-Forms-111220certmatrix-2087910.xls?ssSourceSiteId=otnen

and then go to the tab called 'Client', you will find information about the supported browsers.

  • Is it possible to make all browsers to open to a certain width?

I have almost finished my first design (for most base of CSS) site web home page and I came across a problem trying to certify Web sites using different browsers.  Full web page appears fine (although I have not test IE 6 and more that I'm on a Mac).  Is it possible to complete my web page display in the window of all the different browsers without having to manually resize the or at least set the size of my web page for browsers?

    Thanks in advance!

Nancy made a personal comment by referring to 'my entire screen ' and "my browser settings", but it is a universal concept that it is bad form to divert the way end users prefer to have the browser size and position. Such javascript resizing tips can also cause strange behavior with mobile devices and multi-screen desktop.  It is likely that the user had already adjusted their browser so that they do not need to scroll. Your site is not the only site with content long and scroll bars.

How we expect your web site to be open to a certain width on a screen that is only 320 pixels wide? Should it include the same on a screen of 1680 pixels wide? This complexity is the reason why most designers suggest resizing of the browser of the user.

  • Impossible to install the latest Flash 10.1 for Opera 10.53 player

    Hi all

Having a weird problem installing Flash Player 10.1.53.64. Flash is installed partially, differently from previous versions.

OS: Windows XP SP 3 (32 bit)
    Browser: Opera 10.53
old version of Flash player: 10.0.45.2

I tried to update my Flash Player today because of safety issues. I did as I always do, by doing as follows, after the closure of course all browsers and instant etc. email clients:

    1) download Flash uninstaller "uninstall_flash_player.exe" (md5: D049CF4ECD36EAC817D6D9025B470639) of http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html?promoid=DNRTE and run it when logged in as an administrator. The uninstall program said uninstall has completed successfully. I manually checked that Flash files have been removed from c:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\ and c:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\ records.

    2) download install Flash for browsers no - IE "install_flash_player.exe" (md5: 6E23EADBA1E84F43E5D28053A8BA27A9) of http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and run as admin. The installer says installation was successful. I checked the C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\ file and found NPSWF32.dll manually and added FlashUtil10h_Plugin.exe there. Then, I checked the Opera plugin folder c:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\ only to discover there was no NPSWF32.dll it. Previous versions of Flash player always installed this file in the folder of the Opera plugin because otherwise it will not work.

    (3) Opera began, went to the adobe.com Flash test page. It did not work. Flash is not installed, video Flash does not work and NPSWF32.dll does not appear in the list of the plugin of the opera.

In short: install Flash installs in the folder system32\Macromed, but not in the browser plugin folder. Any ideas? Is this a bug? Thanks for the help

You can try manually to copy NPSWF32.dll to the Opera plugin folder and see if that solves the problem?

  • Display fonts cross browsers

I could never understand why fonts look so different on Safari vs everybody.  Apparently, display of Macs to 72 dpi verses everyone 96ppi... This is probably why their poster looks like so much richer.  I google this for a while now, but I can't seem to understand how designers compensate for this.  And I know they can do it, a perfect example is here: envato.com. (nice site).

So what is the fixed CSS for it?

I wonder, are designers of tests for browsers and then separate style sheets?

Lol only when it is necessary to make the site successful!

    / * Tips for sidebars:
    1. as we work in percentages, it is best do not use the lateral pads on the side bars. It will be added to the width for browsers compatible standards creating a real unknown width.
    2. the space between the wall of the div and the items it contains can be created by placing a margin left and right on these items as seen in the rule "#sidebar1 p".
    3. Because Explorer calculates the width after that the parent element is rendered, you can sometimes run into unexplained bugs with percentages of columns. If you need more predictable results, you can choose to change the columns of pixels in size.

I also did what did Martin, wrap the list in a new div with an ID of #navbar.  If you give it a width in px and auto margins, the Center navigation bar.

Here's what has worked, however, it is very difficult to see without having access to the images you used as background images called via the stylesheet.

    CSS:

    {#navbar}

    Width: 980px;    / * change width as needed * /.

    margin: 0 auto;

    }

Another option would be to take the navigation bar of the header div and create its own container under the header div and try that style instead.  At the moment he is forced by the rules in the #header.

If you cannot fix it, please download the files to a server and provide a link - it is the only way that people can help troubleshoot, especially if the images are involved in the design.

The ability to 'iChat' in one account AIM and Jabber for video chat or Audio Only WITHIN the app is no longer.

The Menu of the video has disappeared.

Screen sharing also went to El Capitan (in the House somehow)

We have text iMessages cats invoke FaceTime upper-right Details option.

Or the screen sharing application for screen sharing.

Of course this "force" everyone to use the iMessages Apple ID account.

I know that they have diversified in other versions and there is one for Mac.

I never worked if they also did the Pro for Mac version.

I have also not clear if it employs different video formats for cats of PURPOSE compared to Jabber ones (Hello and AIM and Jabber on a Mac are essentially the same even if they do not allow connections from Service crossed) Jabber use Jingle and aims essentially to AIM and long ago was compatible with iChat.

NOTE Jingle is actually an add-on to Jabber/XMPP but is not compatible with GoogleTalk Google video or their plug-in for browsers.

    I've not updated with others.

I follow a page, written by another long post here (EZ Jim), but we have not updated since 2006

However, he lists a few of them in the section chats and Conferencing, you might want to give more.

In the latest new applications seemed to come and go.

  • 64-bit Firefox support status

I just built a new pc from scratch, it is Win 7 Ultimate. I would like to install Firefox 64 bit version which is now in developers. before I do, can you tell me how long will it take before this version is GA I also have the following plugins, they are 64-bit and supported at this time, Adobe PDF plugin for Firefox, the QuickTime Plugin, Shockwave Flash. I would like to install the 64-bit version of FF now rather than to install the 32-bit version, then 1-2 months from now reinstall the 64-bit version. Thank you for your time and your advice.

For Win64 Firefox you need 64 bit Plugins while Firefox 32 bits Windows, you need 32-bit Plugins.

If you want to use other Plugins not to mention that Flash Player on Windows, you must use 32-bit Firefox and 32-bit Plugins of Firefox 41,0 +.

The Win64 builds since version 37.0b2 of Firefox on the beta channel for QA purposes. As said that the 41.0 Firefox will be the first to have Win64 for immediate release unless it changes. The 40.0 Firefox was originally planned to have Win64 briefly before changing status to 41.0 Fx.

The 64-bit versions of Firefox on Mac OSX and Linux (which exists since Firefox mozilla.org4.0) may continue to use the NPAPI Plugins 64 bits that exist for browsers such as Firefox and SeaMonkey on OS x and Linux.

    https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/channel/#beta
    https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/beta/all/

Note that if you beta Test or Aurora (developer edition) built you stay on this channel and get updates on this channel. Beta can get six to 12 Beta builds for a version in Aurora (and nightly) get check-ins almost every day so it gets updates every day. To return to the output channel, you install the current version.

  • Problems of updating Flash from Adobe

I constantly get popups saying "firefox has prevented the obsolete plugin adobe flash of opening", but I can't seem to update the plugin.

I tried to go through firefox for the website https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ , but all I get is a spinning wheel. I tried to clear my cookies and refreshing firefox to fix it, but I always get the spinning wheel so I can't update my plugins via the Web site of firefox.

Then, I went and downloaded the update directly from Adobe, but when I try to install I get an error message saying "your internet browser microsoft explore includes the latest version of adobe flash player" and it won't let me complete the installation. I checked that firefox is my default browser, but I still get the error message.

I looked through many discussions on this help site, and nobody seems to have these two problems. They can update via the Mozilla Web site after updating to Firefox, or they have the fixed problem when updating through Adobe.

I'm in Windows 8. Thank you

    http://www.Adobe.com/CA/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Looks like you were trying to install the ActiveX version that is only for IE and not the version of database plugin for browsers like Firefox/SeaMonkey.

Plugins like Flash, Java, Shockwave etc are installed on the system and not in Firefox and Firefox makes use of these Plugins.

  • Blocking of Shockwave from 071315 makes impossible Facebook videos; When will it be fixed/available again?

Seriously... Shockwave is used a LOT. After blocked is a real problem. Adobe didn't go; What happens here?

Hi, firefox blocks only the versions of flash with serious security vulnerabilities that are actively exploited in the wild.

If this isn't how to cancel it? first time trying to solve the problem myself. I was told if you have to pay for it you will need to put in some sort of payment for it or you will get it for some time to try, and then you will begin to pay for it.

Flash Player 18.0.0. 194 (mac and Win)

Get the basic version of Plugins for browsers such as Firefox and SeaMonkey.

Adobe does not pay for Flash player plugins.

  • How do I update Adobe Flash Player when Firefox blocks this update?

When I get to the box that says save or cancel the update, and I click on save, Firefox, then gives me a message that says that my flash drive was blocked for my protection. When I go through the procedure for updating Flash Player, the same as a loop.

Hi, is the latest version of flash, you need to update to Flash Player 18.0.0.194 - it fixes various vulnerabilities that are actively exploited in the wild.
If you have problems with the normal update, then try using the installer available at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html adobe instead - offline for firefox, please select the windows installer exe for browsers based on plugin on this site.
