Two monitors and maximized windows.

Have 2012 Mac Pro with double 24 inch monitors. Improved Mavericks to El Cap. Now, when I optimize a windows or Safari, it maximizes on a screen but Whites on the second screen. On the Mavs, he has no blank 2nd screen. I did using the useless second screen. I want to can I maximize on object while using the second screen for something else. Present another example of Apple deciding that it is the way they think I should be working rather than working me as I want.

It has never been "maximize". It was 'Zoom', which does not necessarily maximize a window. Zoom allows to switch between the smaller size necessary to place all content and the size defined by the user. However, some Apple applications optimize, makes a lot of sense because they are apps that certainly should not.

Apple has changed the Green Zoom button in full screen. To get the Zoom you must hold down the Option key when you click on the green dot.

Full screen will do what you see if you have the game monitors to extend the display on both.

  • The lines appear on one of the two monitors and not on both.

Original title: what are these lines?

These lines appear randomly on my wife's computer at work. The pc is win7. It has two screens and this will appear on the screen, but not both. TI people have looked and fiddled around with the PC and proclaimed it fixed. She sent me this screenshot well after that IT "fixed". While I can't go to work on a computer in New York State, I am confused and became curious to know what this could be. Lines appear on top of any application is open and will not appear in what it to be printed. Very strange.

Uninstall and reinstall any AMD or NVidia graphic drivers

If your use on the update of the chart of the chip value drivers

Reset the monitor via the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

  • Two monitors and TV

Hello, newbie here... hope you can help. I did a search on the forum but could not find an answer to the following...

I run a GTX 760 (pilot 331.82 and active for the reading of mercury) with 2 computer screens and a third control that is a decent FUll HD TV. The idea is to use the screen real estate of the monitors 2 computer to the user interface of the Organization and the TV as a replacement for a monitor. The map and the Organization recognize all three monitors. I tried all possible combinations allow the 3 monitors under 'Read' in 'Préférences', but I can't just get playback of the image on the second computer monitor and the TV at the same time. This means that I can't use the second monitor to computer as expected IE. as a space for the GUI.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    One thing is certain, Tony...

    I use this one:

    http://www.Matrox.com/video/en/products/mxo2_mini/

You have a card in your PC connected to the box, and then there is an HDMI output to a TV / monitor. You can choose to have the audio output via the HDMI or PC. I use it through the PC, because I have connedted to a mixer etc.

If you search the forum for Matrox you can find more about it. I think you should be able to capture with her too, but I haven't explored that yet.

  • I have two monitors and Firefox will not come on the screen.

When I try to open Firefox it will not load on each screen. Looks like he's trying to go to the secondary screen, but is not visible. The OS is Windows 7 Home first Service Pack 1. Firefox version 37.0.1
    Thanks for your help.
    Jerry

You get a sticker or other indication on the Windows task bar that there is a window of Firefox "somewhere", but it is not visible anywhere?

If there is a tile (or a title of the window above the Firefox button in the task bar):

The Firefox window sometimes opens off screen. If you have a multiple monitor configuration, make sure that both monitors are on. Other users have reported that sometimes Firefox acts strangely while the second monitor is turned off. You mentioned that both monitors are on in your case.

In all other cases: you can often force the Firefox window is displayed on the screen by double clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

A possible cause for this is that the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt.

#1 method: If you can get a zoomed window:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old as well.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

#2 method: If you can not get a Firefox window for all:

Close Firefox by right clicking the icon in the taskbar > close all windows.

Using the Run dialog box (windows key + R) or search from the start menu (bar (or, in Windows 8 may bar charms bar research?) type or paste the following and press ENTER to drill down to the profiles folder):

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Here you can see a folder - in this case, double-click that - or more than one case - in this case, double-click on in what looks like the most recently updated.

Scroll down and rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old as well.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

  • Two monitors and photo screen saver

In Vista, how to make the photo screen saver to display pictures on both of my monitors?  I have nothing seems to do the job.  It worked fine under XP.

    Hi Boz,

Vista doesn't have the function of screensaver photo on several monitors. You can use your favorite search engine to search for a third party application that can support.

  • Bug in 2015 using two monitors and 6 K resolution Footage update

After the update CC PP 2015 Ive notice a bug when I pull and extend a clip in my scenario, my second film LED 27 "monitor monitor which mirrors my monitor of the program just starts blinking and does not show the images rubbing as he used to. I extend the clip it does not reflect the correct position of the clip, it sparkles so that it shows my home desktop screen on occasion. Has anyone else been done to meet this bug. Its quite frustrating. This happens only when I have a second monitor hooked up. I've updated to version 9.0.2 they come out today. and I got the version 9.0.1 installed just F.Y.I before And I always feel the same questions. I am attaching a video and photo, so you can see the problem that is happening. After having tested far this only happens with images of 6 K resolution. It does not with a resolution of 4K and below. And again once this has happened after the update 2015 The photos of the show when I make drag and extend a clip in the program Monitor flashes and does not play the preview as it should, you can also see the timecode overlay is not correctly aligned either.  Password for the video: CCPP and I use a MacPro 2013 with 64 g ram duel D700 graphics cards and I'm editing a disc SSD of Raid Thunderbolt 2.

I talked with Adobe tech support representative and he had no solution for me. Adobe can you please offer assistance more. Everything was good in Premiere Pro 2014 so it's probably a bug in update 2015 or conflict.

  • Windows XP loses two monitor settings and returns to the single monitor after to be identified only by the windows... No reboot is

To begin with, I am the HelpDesk of the company and our users are running Windows 7, Vista and XP. The problem will occur randomly on most XP and Vista systems.

I'm beginning to believe that it is a computer problem to the extent of the material or something of this nature.

For now, I swapped the computer and now the question is not fooled by the user.

But in general I wanted to know why this happens. They will be blocked (not a stop) their computer to take a lunch break and when they return to log in order to return to work. They work on two monitors and for some reason, as the settings go back to the single screen...

Why this keep happening? Help, please?

Either way, I don't think it's a driver problem... Because I just run images on hard drives of all application users run and the problem occurs randomly.

Thanks in advance for your response...

  • Some subtle problems with two monitors on Windows 7

I used two monitors with your Windows 7 Desktop for quite awhile and I just had to replace a.  This is a problem which is probably easy to fix, but I don't know how to do it.

I figured out which monitor, I wanted to just in front of the keyboard (the larger one) and that I wanted on my right.  The new is more.  They both work very well, but there are two problems:

    1. the office and the taskbar are in the older monitor to the right - I do not know how to move.

    2. the mouse is confused.  He considers that the monitors are in the reverse position.  In other words, when the mouse is moved on the screen to the right, I have to move it OFF THE RIGHT EDGE OF the SCREEN to enter the screen on the left.  I know that I can get used to this, but I'd rather not have to.

    Thanks in advance.

    DK

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution."

(or Panel of-> screen-> the resolution).

Above under 'Change the appearance of your screens', you should see two icons of the screen display.  Simply slide one on the right to the left of the icon on the left (so that they switch positions). Then press "OK" your way out.

To select the screen that contains the task bar, select the icon for this monitor in the same screen as above and a small box should appear below the "Multiple displays" line that says 'Make this my primary monitor '.  Just check this box and OK your way out.

  • Stretch machine virtual windows on two monitors

Stretch the window machine virtual windows XP mode across two monitors.

Windows 7, videocard, NVIDIA G Force 210, two ASUS 23 "monitors a VGA the other DVI

I can stretch the other windows like adobe reader across two monitors, but the XP virtual machine window can be extended a bit bigger than a monitor. Virtual machine window can be passed a window to each other very well... just not expandable wide two monitors.

It would be useful for a program of CAD drawing two pages visible at the same time.

    Yes, you can use the HDMI and DVI-channels simultaneously to support two monitors. Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion Elite m9060n. According to the specifications;

When I move the taskbar to another job, not only is the language bar moves next to the Start button, but also, there seems to be a gap between the taskbar and maximized window (firefox, etc.)

    Help.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
    Method 1:
Run the scan of auditor of file system (CFS) and check if it helps.
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista: http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:
Try to create a new user account and check if it helps.
Create a new user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Create-a-user-account
Note: If the new user account works, see steps on how to copy files to the new user profile in Microsoft article provided: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

    Hello

You can connect just as an external monitor to the computer without any additional device.
I connected my external monitor to the laptop and activated the option called: extend my Windows desktop on this monitor.

This allows to use the external monitor as extended desktop and I can still move my documents or windows browser to the external monitor.

If you want to use two external monitors then I advise to use a device such as Toshiba Dynadock.

Google for more details on different devices Dynadock mode
