Two phones, an appleid calls noticed on both phones?:

We have two iPhones (Verizon). Nor has iMsg or turned on Facetime. Both are scrupulously kept iOS 9.3.4. One is the 'principal owner' of the Verizon account. The other is one second line (phone number) on the same Verizon account. Both use the same appleid.

When a call is made from or received on a phone, this call is logged in * two * phones. It is especially annoying and inappropriate for two unique phone numbers. Everything what Verizon officials have been able to offer is turning off Facetime and iMsg on two iPhones. While it makes no sense at all, we did, nothing helped.

Just in case, I thought I would put the question here on the community forum. Always full of hope.

    If your company supports Activesync and BES so technically you should be able to synchronize two devices.  Simply enter the Exchange settings in the iPhone and you'll be ready to go.

    Sorry, you misunderstood me. I have said nothing on the redirector. It will not.

    For Hotmail, one - do not leave 'forward' for the BlackBerry, instead the Live Hotmail set to receive push email, as it is designed. As it is now, you actually transfer your email from Hotmail to another address? As a blackberry.net address? Use the normal push configuration routine with your BIS account.

    Just upgraded iphones iOS 9.3.2. Whenever a SMS is sent or received on an iphone, it also appears on another iphone. This also happens on recent calls. Also just updated IMAC to El Capitian IOS 10.11.5. Do not know if it had nothing to do with this problem

    Your phones are connected to the same Apple ID and the ID to be included in settings - Messages - send and receive

    To stop this behavior - remove ID of the Apple send it and receive parameter area - messages left only the phone number

    To Turn off the 'link' between the two iPhones, follow these steps on BOTH phones.

    1 settings > phone > call on other devices > DISABLE "allow calls on other devices.

    2 settings > Messages > text Message Forwarding > turn off your device

    3 settings > Messages > Send and receive > uncheck all the emails. Just check the number for this device

  • Two iphones and recent calls duplicate.

    I use 2 iPhones.  One is my staff (6) one and the other is provided by my employer (5 c) for business calls.  Both have iOS 9.2

    The problem I have is that my recent calls are duplicated on both phones.  My staff is T-Mobile while the other is Verizon.  Sometimes even the voice box is found on both (although the record is not on the other).  It is just listed at once.

    As you can imagine, this causes me some confusion.  The only thing I can think is that I use my Apple ID on both so I can use my apps on either.  But why that should cause this?

    Remember that only 1 phone actually rings / receives the call.  Any help is welcome.

    Yes, if you use the same Apple ID on both, call logs will be synchronized.

    Some people have reported that, if they will turn off iCloud Drive, call logs stops the synchronization. Of course, then you can not use iCloud drive.
