  Wonderful news of your success with the default text and burn it to disk. Good job sorting through the troubleshooting paths to find

  In general, I burn it to DVD disc with a check mark next to Fit content in the burn dialog box to the available space. The only time I leave this option disabled

  is if I get an error of data rate and I have to manually set the baud rate. When you get to Blu - ray, the situation is a little different.

• Create the style of the selected text paragraph?

  I am trying to create a paragraph style for the selected text in InDesign CS6 (Mac). There must be a simple command for this.

  For example, if I'm in the form of text which has no style paragraph and decide I want to save the formatting as a new style to apply it elsewhere, there is no command for 'create the new style of paragraph selected text'. The only option, seems, is to manually create a new paragraph style, click the style, which of course annihilates all the formatting desired, redo all the formitting (assuming a rememebers it), then right click on the paragraph style and hope that the option "Redefine a Style" is available (which is not often).

  Any guidance greatly appreciated.

  1 Select the text or keep blink, position the cursor on the text and the paragraph open style (press F11), on the paragraph style Panel, click the menu and choose new paragraph Style

  

  2. in this new paragraph Style dialog box, you can make your desire setting and check the box 'Apply the Style to selection'

  

  OR

  1. create your text of desire and click on this text created (or select the text) and click on create a new style button that is shown on the image

  

  2. When you click on create new style from the paragraph style list a paragraph style 1 is displayed but it will not be highlighted, it will highlight on the default style 'Standard paragraph', just click once on the style of paragraph 1 and double-click to rename.

  

  It will allow to keep the style of what you have created.

  Try to use: txt.setNewTextFormat (emphatic);

  In my view, setTextFormat must be applied after the text in the textfield, not before.  But setNewTextFormat is supposed to affect the default format for the textfield object before the text is assigned.

• A project with two styles of web services (JAX - RPC and JAX - WS)

  How did the same project doesn't support two styles of different web services?
  
  First time I have create a proxy web service using the wizard, the second step is to choose between JAX - RPC and JAX - WS. After that, this step is removed from the wizard and all the subsquent web services are supposed to be the same style as the first.
  
  Can someone explain to me why?

• Two style sheets in a page?

  Confused here lol.

  I want to create a page that contains two style sheets. A sheet is for the menu drop down. The other is for a photo gallery. Looking at this page, it seems that this is possible. How can it be done please?

  When you attach a style sheet, simply repeat the process twice.  You can access this window-> CSS Styles, or Format-> Styles CSS-> attach a Style sheet.

• Apply the paragraph style instead of runned text simply by clicking on the text box

  I'm changing the style of the text entity. Is there another way to change it to select all the text, and then set the style?

  

  IT is threaded text block (not a box!) you have to select all the blocks of text at a time in the thread (which is impossible if they are on different spreads) or you must select all of the text to apply a style.

  If the text block is not passed, you can select and apply the text.

  I do not see a problem to select all the text. Use the text tool, click in the text and the cmd/ctrl + A and apply the style. Not a problem, not a lot of work.

  A box is something like BleedBox, CropBox or something like that. Objects in InDesign are still frames or paths.

  I have a document with some parties updated with the fusion of data (via placeholders). Is it possible to set a style of different cases for the same placeholder in the same text. See the example:

  Mike runs its < < vehicule_placeholder > > in the city. But its < < VEHICULE_PLACEHOLDER > > is meant to be shared.

  If the value of this placeholder in the file merger is 'bike', the sentence should be:

  Mike runs his bike in the city. But his BIKE is meant to be shared.

  You can do it. A character style for this configuration placeholder text, set in all caps.

  This looks like a bug. We will fix it in the next public release. In the meantime, you need to specify the meaning to the elements of the list directly instead of using a paragraph style.

• Two actions of entry of text into a slide

  Hello. I am creating an interactive course software online. The software, to clear the screen to press ESC twice. I'm having a hard time recreating this specific action. I can't add two text input boxes on a slide. I tried to put a box to enter text in a slide and then another slide right after, but it does not work quite quickly. If someone is told to press ESC twice, they usually do so quickly enough. Back to back slides are not fast enough. The text input box (where I create keyboard shortcut) only allows you to have a key (unless the others are CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT) is out of the question. If I put two in a slide, they kind of cancel each other out. I created an and define its action to CONTINUE and then the second to GO TO NEXT PAGE, but it does not work due to timing.
  
  Is anyone know to allow this action? All of this makes sense?

  What I noticed with click boxes, and text entry areas in Captivate, is that they always check for 'Success' and 'failure '. You know when you go to the properties of the text entry box and go to the tab options, how there is Success\Failure\Hint legend checkboxes at the bottom? Well, even if they are unchecked, Captivate still call these functions regardless of whether or not they are checked. In turn, this causes your gal. If you are looking for a control that will allow the ESC key to be pressed twice, I recommend this creation in Flash and then use variables in Captivate to do what you want.

• Apply styles to the dynamic text

  I'm dynamically loading text (from a .txt file) in a box of text at runtime via a URLLoader. The text is htmlText in the TextArea. I use a component TextArea (editable = false) so I can get scrollbars if I need them. I have an external stylesheet in which I for the text box set base models. These styles are applied, but I can't class styles (for example, the styles for h1) to apply. In my .txt file, html work ("BOLD" < b > < /b >) tags, but when I try to apply specific styles such as a type selector or a class selector, these styles do not appear in the text that fills the text box.
  
  I tried to load a stylesheet using StyleManager.loadStyleDeclarations ('styles.swf') running. I tried to create a stylesheet with ActionScript and the StyleSheet object. Someone at - it any other suggestions?

  Hey! I thought about it. It is not as gracious I want, but it works. In addition, I had 'a href' links in the text dynamically loaded to call JavaScript functions from outside the application (in the package).

• Can I remove paragraph styles while leaving the text as it is?

  I have the text that was somehow connected to a paragraph style that is not the right model. I need to change this style of paragraph... but I don't want this other text to change (which is what's happening). I tried to rename the style of the text I want to preserve as is, but even that changes the text. How can I leave the text as it is, but have no style paragraph related? I use InDesign CC on an iMac.

• Unable to join two points all paths of text

  It's one thing, I always used to do in Adobe Illustrator CS3, but now CS6 won't let me.

  I typed text, converted text outlines and now want to bring two letters. What I used to do, is just to add a point, then delete it, which caused a segment of the path to open, leaving the letter cavities not blocked. Then I could do that to a second letter and join them together.

  

  But now, when I try to choose two points that form the edge of the top of the s & t, I get an error. I also tried using the pen to join them in that way and get a similar error: 'paths accompanied by drawing tools must be in the same group, or one of them should not be inside any group. The new path has not been joined by the existing path. "None of these letters is part of another group!

  Help! I'm going to do in CS3...

  For some reason, Illustrator treats your forms of text developed as either groups or transparent traces. Select both and then dissociate or release the track until the text to the left of the Options bar just says 'Path '.
