Two thin verticle high of lines down on laptop screen

About four months, suddenly my Dell Insperon 9300 displays a very fine white line, up and down, about 40% of the left side of the screen. In a few months it became yellow and the other has a purple, appeared about 3/4 of the way together. These lines are very thin and are there from the moment I start.

    Hello

    If a separate monitor (not a laptop), it will be setting of physical geometry on it then you can move all the
    the screen to the right and enlarge if necessary. Also right click an empty area of the desktop - graphic properties.
    Search for geometry settings (PCs and laptops).

    If necessary contact your system support manufacturer and check their documents and online forums. Do

  • thin horizontal black line down page what scan on HP Officejet Pro 8600 more

    I've owned an HP Officejet Pro 8500 and scan was perfect.  I recently bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

    When I scan from the ADF HP 8600, I get a thin (several pixel wide) black along the lower edge of the analysis that results.  This line will be sometimes slightly twisted or appear only through half of the page, in which case, it tends to become thicker towards the edge of the page).  According to me, this line is an artifact of the analysis of the edge at the bottom of the original document.  I think it is to show where the bottom edge of the page was when parsing.  If the document is that a little offset, then the black line down will be a little twisted, probably following the edge of the page.  This issue is consistent and reproducible.  It is in the mode "Scan mail" and in mode 'Scan To Network Folder.

    When I scan from the flat bed, I get a very narrow black line along the side of the analysis resulting very superior, but the background seems in good condition (although I have not tested this widely).

    These fine black lines occurred when scanning the HP 8500.

    I wonder if there is a setting to adjust it, or if it is a firmware difference between printers needs debugging.

    Hey KenAlker,

    There are a few things I want to check if you have lines when scanning using the 8600. I see that mention you that lines appear both through ADF and flat glass. There may be something both of the glass sections used by this printer, but more often that otherwise, this isn't the case.

    I would check if the printer is connected to a surge protector. If this is the case, then try plugging the 8600 in a direct outlet. Often the surge protector can cause this problem appears because the printer has a built.

    Also, try a hard reset:
    * Unplug the unit while the
    Disconnect the other end of the wall socket direct
    * Wait 30-60 seconds
    * Plug the unit to the top

    Also, try to take a look at the steps in the document found here.

    I hope this helps.

  • lines down the officejet pro 8600 copy

    just got the officejet pro 8600 its great except when I copy there is a line down the Middle, but not when I print faxes reception could be tape somewhere?

    This happens when you use the automatic document feeder to copy or scan?  This is probably a place on the strip of thin glass used for scanning with the ADF.  See the Solution 2, step 5 in this document.

  • OfficeJet 6500 all-in-one - black line down page

    Our newly purchased Officejet 6500 all-in-One is the production pages with thin black lines down the page about 2/3 of the way through the page (right side of page).  Is there a solution to this problem?

    This was only happening with ADF.  After several cleanings with no changes, I found this forum.   After reading the plug on the glass, I went back and really clean the glass.  This has allowed the problem.  Thanks for the forum.

  • How do I remove high-low lines with VID HD in first elements 7?

    Problem: Every time I have shoot original sequences in camera and import video in first, there are lines up/down, unless I develop the video that will ruin the quality of original shooting.

    Camera:  I use a Sony 10.2 mega pixels HD AVCHD, taken from view in 1080I/480I - HD - 16:9

    Aim: I would like to edit my videos without expanding (ruining) of original sequences where my final videos are produced without high-low lines on the you tube videos.

    HELP: How can I solve this problem, either my camera or settings or something else that I need.  Your help is appreciated!

    It seems, from your other post, you understand that you use the correct project for your video and audio settings. This should help you 95% of the way.

    Then, when you export your video by using the share/Personal Computer / MOV, use one of the default presets. Usually, this will give you a version non-Letterbox your video. Also, take a look at the FAQ to the right of the forum.

  • OfficeJet 8600 Doc bac - line down the right margin when copy or scan

    I have officejet pro 8600 premium.

    When I print or scan from the document feeder, there is a line down the right side of the document printed or digitized, about an inch from the edge of the page.

    The line does not appear when I use the flat bed.

    He won't let a line from the original - just on the copy or scan when using the document feeder.

    It happens when I scan my computer or copy to the screen of the printer when using the document feeder.

    I just noticed the problem today.   It was working fine yesterday

    Thank you

    This means that there is a place (dirt or tinted), on the ADF scanner glass. Try to clean the glass of the scanner ADF with fluffy. The ADF scanner glass is on the left side, under the ADF.

    Return it to the store for assessment.   It is in the warranty period of 12 months, so it could be replaced if you insist that you are in the United Kingdom.   Otherwise it is covered by your warranty and is either replaced or repaired according to the countries.

  • Satellite P100 - thin yellow line appears on the screen

    Hello world.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite P100, 3 years ago.
    Recently appeared on my screen an intermittent thin vertical yellow line.

    Nothing serious, but very annoying, especially when I play or watch movies.
    I just found that it is not a software problem, but a material one (I've connected the laptop with my TV and there is no yellow line shown on the screens).

    So I guess there is something wrong with the LCD of my Satellite.

    You think it's interesting to try to fix this? What can I do?

    Thank you

    Hello

    > So I guess there is something wrong with the LCD of my Satellite.
    Maybe

    Always is that those issues could be related to a defective LCD screen or graphics chip
    But given that this line is not visible on the TV or external monitor this could be an internal screen problem and not a problem of graphics chip

    > You think it is worth trying to fix this? What can I do?
    Well, a laptop screen is not a party so inexpensively.
    It costs about 300-350 Euros and I wouldn't try to replace it if the warranty is no longer valid

    Cleaning the scanner glass is different from the ADF. Try some ADF cleaning steps here.

  • Media Player has a red line down Center of screem

    Today when I tried to watch a video stream, only a red line appears on the screen, this line actually divides the film into two, not only the screen.  Research finds an old post of Vista to run a sfc scan, which I did, no results.  MSE own scans, manually deleted all tmp files and restarted the computer.  I just checked and found that dose also at the movies I stored on my remote disk and locally.

    Have not tried to other media players again, want to show and see if anyone has seen this recently.  Will update when I test the media 3rd party players

    Thanks advanced

    Glenn

    It's just this video streaming one which does, or is the red line now for all of your videos?

    If you have WMCenter, can you listen to it with that? - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/27329/complete-guide-to-windows-7-media-center/

    Try to run the troubleshooter WMP (probably the settings one) and see if that helps. in "search programs and files" type "Troubleshoot" (without the quotation marks). In the results of the program click "Troubleshooting" and then click "programs". Then, run the WMP settings reset to see if that helps.

    Otherwise, try uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling and restarting WMP- http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/26107/how-to-reinstall-windows-media-player-in-windows-7-to-solve-problems/

    Doesn't take long to try, and the other seems to especially help with weird problems with WMP.

  • How to paint two ObjectChoiceField on the same line

    Hello Experts!

    I tried to draw two ObjectFieldChoice on the same line, but the work doesn´t, I found this post that have the same problem as me, but the fix doesn´t works for me.

    My code:

    ...
                      String[] tipos = new String[] {"BLA1", "BLA2" };
            _tipo = new ObjectChoiceField(null, tipos, 0, FIELD_VCENTER) {
                protected void layout(int width, int height) {
                    super.layout(width - 235, height);
                }
            };
            _tipo.setBorder(BorderFactory.createSimpleBorder(new XYEdges(1, 1, 1, 1)));
            _tipo.setFont(Utils.getFont());

            FCLabelField lblTipo = new FCLabelField(_tipo_filtro, FIELD_VCENTER, false);

            String[] opcoes = new String[] { "BLA3", "BLA4", "BLA5", "BLA6"};
            _situacao = new ObjectChoiceField(null, opcoes, 0, FIELD_VCENTER) {
                protected void layout(int width, int height) {
                    super.layout(width - 346, height);
                }
            };
            _situacao.setBorder(BorderFactory.createSimpleBorder(new XYEdges(1, 1, 1, 1)));
            _situacao.setFont(Utils.getFont());

            FCLabelField lbl = new FCLabelField(_filtro, FIELD_VCENTER, false);

            CustomButtonField btConsultar = new CustomButtonField("Submit");
            HorizontalFieldManager hfmButton = new HorizontalFieldManager(FIELD_VCENTER);
            hfmButton.add(btConsultar);

            HorizontalFieldManager hfm = new HorizontalFieldManager(FIELD_LEFT);
            hfm.add(lblTipo);
            hfm.add(_tipo);
            hfm.add(lbl);
            hfm.add(_situacao);
                      add(hfm);
    ...

    I m waitting for more help.

    Best regards, Rampelotti

    The way I would approach this scenario is firstly by adding two fields of object list to a horizontal management.

    Resize the fields until they are exactly where you want to be.

    Once you did, then you can begin to add the label fields, centering, resizing and so on.

    Do it step by step.

    Also subtract 200 + pixels in width is not a good idea, especially on small devices.

    Hope this helps
