Two-way synchronization of blackBerry Smartphones Gmail?

I've seen reports in a rss news feed about two way to end gmail sync and it is in the Gmail and Google Blog. I guess if I'm missing something. Are they talking about enhanced Gmail plugin that came out? Or they talk about a Gmail program update which is downloadable? Or even an upgrade to the Gmail plugin improved?

This is one of the links that I receive my information

http://www.softsailor.com/news/25910-2-way-syncing-for-BlackBerry-is-now-available.html

It is not necessary.

  • Two-way sync with Google Apps Gmail/Verizon blackBerry smartphones does not

To navigate on this forum, I see the two-way synchronization of read/delete messages with Gmail should work since early May. However, I was never able to get the two-way synchronization works successfully on my BlackBerry. (I have a Storm 9530 with Verizon, and I use BIS with Google Apps Gmail on my own domain name.)

Several times over the last couple months, I've tried different combinations of: deleting my account Gmail from BIS and Add again a few hours later. Reset my device; return service directories; ensuring that all my BIS and parameters in the reconciliation of the enamel on my device are in order. But I read in Gmail messages continue to remain not read on my BB has marked more than a day later.

Notably, sent messages to Gmail appear on my BlackBerry and have since early May. Contacts sync also works as expected. However, no other aspect of the two-way sync seems to work. Is there anything I can try to make it work?

Postini disabling and modify records MX for ASPMX. L.GOOGLE.COM. et al., then remove and re - integrate my bis account has indeed fixed my problem. Apparently parts of the BIS use MX one records field to determine whether to use Gmail or IMAP ordinary. That's why reconciliation features for Gmail (and some of the features of the plugin improved too, Gmail it looks to) are not available if your Google Apps domain uses the Postini Services.

Fortunately, I don't require Postini on my domain (because it is just my private domain, I really useless company features;) I allowed him only because that's where ), so that this action has resolved the problem for me. Although this bug could end up biting small businesses that use Google Apps with Postini and want to use BIS; If all goes well it will be fixed in a future BIS release.

  • Problems of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones: Run Time Error when MS Outlook is applied

I just got the Curve 8330 and recorded the telephone and e-mail. I had an older Blackberry and my outlook 2003 address book and calendar synced perfectly using Desktop Manager. I installed the latest version supplied on cd-rom with the curve and the installation was successful. I then tried to set up sync and tried to apply the synchronization with ms outlook and that's when the problem occurred.

    1. I opened the Desktop Manager and clicked on sync.

2 click on the albums configuration tab

    3. I then clicked on configure synchronization.

    4 selected address book

    5. the next page listed available desktop applications and I chose MS Outlook

    6 then I select the two-way synchronization

    7. after clicking Next, I get this ERROR of EXECUTION: section of the Application is not based on files.

I tried to uninstall the Office Director and reinstalled from the blackberry website. Still, I got the same message. Then I found the link below and concluded that there are ducts that connect the Outlook for Office Manager and for some reason, there is an error that is there. I did not quite understand how to solve the problem of the information provided on the troubleshooting link. I could not add the link that has been interrupted or lost by installing the new Manger of office. The link I found is below and I was wondering if there was a way to manually bind the office and Outlook. Please provide a way that novice computer person can implement.

  • Contacts for editing and synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones

Hi, one made an absolute mess of sync my contacts with Outlook. First I had to change the simm card then I downloaded contacts from my old sim to my BB until the Sim Card has been cancelled. I'm now working with the new SIM card.  I connected up to BB Desktop Manager and tried to sync the contacts in a two-way synchronization between BB and Outlook. The result on my BB is a disaster. I have up to 4 different entries for the same contact. EG email address is an entry, home phone another entry, mobile another entry etc etc.

Is there a way I can easily get the file, say in excel format, so you can modify and merge contacts using my pc and then import the file corrected on my BB?

    Thanks for your help

    The curve 9320 software = 7.1 Bundle 1319 (v7.1.0.398, platform 9.49.0.31)

    Hello

Use of the SIM card which was the original error. The SIM directory is much less robust than the BB or Outlook address book. The SIM directory can have only a 1:1 correlation between the entry and the data... so if you have a name with 3 numbers, the SIM directory ends with three entries total, all with the same name. Therefore, using the directory SIM is not advisable for any purpose whatsoever.

What I would recommend you to do, is to use Outlook to clean your data... in this way, you work in a familiar interface and can get things you like. If it's too tedious, you can analyze the export to CSV from Outlook, editing in Excel and then import back into Outlook.

In any case I recommend the abandonment of your address book of BB... Once you have cleaned the PC data, erase the data on the BB and do a one-way synchronization to the BB with data now purified on the PC of the time.

    Good luck!

  • Two-way synchronization of Lightroom with Flickr?

I have been using Lightroom with Flickr for a long time. A certain degree of two-way synchronization between the plugin Flickr (the one that comes with Adobe Lightroom) and Lightroom is possible. For example, coomments are uploaded to Flickr. However, there are some strong limitations on this plugin:

    (1) has problems if you have a lot of Flickr photo sets then you can't keep all registered in Lightroom, but you can update after post you them on Flickr. For example if you find an error in a name or retouch a photo. This is particularly the case if you move to a new computer or do a major upgrade and lose games photo appearing on the card.

    (2) If you import pictures from another library where you've set up a Flickr album then this album not imported to Lightroom in the Flickr publish the module. The connection to Flckr is lost!

I am in no way suggest using Flickr as a backup, but it would be useful to be able to link to the existing albums in Lightroom and locate the existing files in the current library or to the list of missing persons so that the republication are then possible. If someone knows a way to get this answer please then.

Currently I use Lightroom 4.3 on a Windows 7 PC.

    Thank you
    Marcel

It's this piece from your original post that caught my attention.

According to http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/flickr/publish#populate , that he should try to link previous Flickr updated with photos in your catalog.  I don't use Flickr for a long time, so I'm not up-to-date with the current functionality.

  • Two-way synchronization of Gmail from BIS Smartphones Verizon blackBerry?

Is it possible to use IMAP instead of POP with gmail only for this, as the two-way sync with Yahoo mail? You would think that would work this basic function...

Rarely, it takes six hours, but it may take some time (from the server to your handheld).

And I don't know why... I don't like watching sausage being made, I just enjoy eating.

Was all that was not working? You get the reconciliation in the other direction ok?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail IMAP is not really IMAP

Just create an account Gmail Gmail specifications. Everything seems to work in the direction of the BB to Gmail, such as messages deleted on BB are deleted on the Gmail server and status message reading. But it does not work the other way. Read or delete mail on the server of Gmail does not reflect on my BB. Is it the way it should work? If this is the case, is it really different from the way POP work?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Yes, the device switch Wizard has two devices so that he can have an up-to-date backup. But, if you have a recent backup, then the previous BB shouldn't be necessary. See this KB:

    Hello

When I connect my BB to my PC for the sync my organizer, I get the following message:

"The organizer was able to start. The Blackberry Desktop Software could not load your previous data organizing configurations. Reconfigure your host settings to synchronize Organizer data between your computer and your BlackBerry smartphone. »

Any ideas how I can sort this out so I can return to the synchronization between my PC and my BB?

    Thank you

    Ok.

Steps I took to get my system working again.

-While the installation worked, I selected "forget device" in the menu of the device.

-Done a complete uninstall of the software of Office BB, including user settings. (A reboot is necessary)

-Download a new copy of BB 7.1 desktop software.

-Installed software, reconfigured synchronization Organizer and everything works fine now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail question...

Maybe not the right place so I'm sorry about this in advance. I added my Gmail (personal) account to my Blackberry "BOLD" and I am usually in the creancesc all day, then at home, so I have my desk in front of me most of the time.

Is there a way to cut the arrival of e-mails for BB while I have access to a computer so that I'm not deleting emails all day outside the computer desktop and BB?

I want just the emails on the road, the creancesc, etc...

It is nice to cut you the company while I'm sitting here with the redirector. So is there a similar way with Gmail?

    Thank you

    Dear guy,

One thing you could do is delete your Gmail from your device and download the mobile app from Google or Gmail here application:

    http://www.Google.com/mobile/BlackBerry/

In this way, you can access your Gmail account at your discretion.

I don't really know how to explain what I did, but it's here. I removed g-mail as a third party and returned to use as an email from BB and attachments came through. I'm fairly new to what I do not understand everything. It then double home you must be there 24/7/365. It seems that you never miss a beat.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail... How to get emails in both places?

    Hello
I have my blackberry with gmail Setup.

I noticed that if I get an email on my blackberry it is wrong in my gmail Inbox and vice versa.
Is it possible to get emails on my blackberry and in my gmail Inbox?

    Thank you
    Braden

    Welcome to the braden87 forums

Have you tried to delete and re-add the e-mail account on your BB email installation site? Who can solve the problem.

Or send the phone directories of service by:
1 connection to the site of the BIS of your operator (where you installed your email)
    2. go in directories of Service, then click on "send Service books".

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail 2-way sync

I have read on various items that Blackberry have recently deployed 2 way in America/unread Gmail messages syncronising (some people still have problems). Someone had a bit of luck to the United Kingdom?

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

While I can't directly answer your question (since I'm not in the United Kingdom), quite often, receive new benefits under BIS, to remove and re - integrate their e-mail account set up in BIS. Indeed, if you have multiple accounts configured in BIS, one should probably delete all, then wait a period of time (for simplicity, I would advise an hour), then add BIS accounts. In this way, if there are upgrades to the central system of BIS, BIS users account has the best chance to really migrate to the new BIS infrastructure and, accordingly, reach enhancements available.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail stopped last night synchronization?

    Hello world:

My Gmail accounts and contacts ceased sync on my storm last night. I don't know exactly when, but I wouldn't change a thing on my phone cause this result.

I rebooted by phone and a Bing icon popped up.  It was new.

I can send email Gmail through my BlackBerry... but cannot receive.

BlackBerry did send updates live yesterday or last night? Yet once, I made no. MANUAL changes to my phone. But something must have triggered it.

There was a power outage BIS affecting overnight delivery capabilities in the United States carrier BB email. It is reported to start to clear up, but we cannot expect big delays today so that queues them clearly.
