  Well, if your 'chapter' and your 'jon doe' is in the separate text boxes, then there is no easy way to do it. (You could draw a bunch of lines dotted, which isn't difficult, but the only way to standardize manually drag the lines around).

  However, if "chapter" and "jon doe" is in the same text box, separated by a tab character, then it is quite easy. Have you used a ruler before tab? This gives a test:

  (1) type a brief sample in a text area, like the one in your post, but instead of separate columns with points, simply use a single tab

  (2) select all text

  3) go to the Type-> tabs

  (4) I hope it sounds familiar to you (probably from MS Word, or maybe using a typewriter) but otherwise,.

  (4A), click once on the sovereign to insert a tab stop

  4 (b) type a question in the area of 'leader', and

  4 c) press Tab or Enter to confirm

  FYI, it's what you want, a 'leader' or a 'leader of dot. Knowing that he has called a "Chief" will help you find it in InDesign help.

  For text boxes (Type of path), you can select all, then click on one of them, the Align attribute > spacing distribution, adjustment of the desired distance between the boxes.

• Text run horizontally through the two text boxes

  I am trying to run the text between the two areas of text, but in a continuous manner. Essentially, we have disclosed no claimed that crosses a spread. Someone, that is created is no longer here, two text boxes (one on each page) and has managed to take the text where the first line in the first text box has continued in the second text box and then wrapped into the first text box and then continued in the second text box and so on.

  So with the paragraph above text might hit the left text box to "Essentially" and continue to "we" the first line of the text on the right box. Go overboard and then to the second line of the left text box continuing to the second line of the text on the right box. And so on. I can't understand what they have done, but I'm sure it's something simple in InDesign.

  Note: these are areas of unique text, not two columns in a text box.

  I see it. The text is flowing the way it does in mine. Who are soft return characters at the end of each line in the first screenshot, and # is a marker of the end of history. The lines were manually arranged and set frame on the left. This means that if you add a few words it will crumble.

  I have a doubt, I've created a mxml it has two text boxes, except the button and a combo box that is has two option as a percentage and the amount.

  Looks like you are trying to do too much at once. Try to hang the events correctly

• Get two text boxes appear...

  Hi guys.  Im trying to get to two areas of text to appear once a selection is made from a drop-down list. Two text boxes have been updated with the invisible and the formCalc is written under the change option in the drop-down list.  This does not work when I make the selection. Text boxes appear only once I make the choice to the second time and on the option I want that text areas is visible on.  -CV103 is my combo - CV107 & CV108 are my text boxes that I set to invisible.   I pasted my code below because I can't seem to get this right.   The problem is that the rawValue does not hold the value that you select to exit. If you want that the user has selected on the change event you xfa.event.newText... instead of Fieldname.rawValue

• I have a few groups of troubled spacing of text boxes. Someone at - it automated a way to distribute the space between groups of two text boxes?

  It of not much more to this issue. My format works like this:

  I need to distribute these evenly text boxes towards the bottom of my page. It's a bit of pain to do manually. Since there are other objects on the page, spacing guidelines to throw out of whack. My safest way is to create a box, line it up at the bottom of the first group and the top of the other. Then repeat all the way to the bottom of the page.

  I thought to use a text box, but it was rejected. I need to have content pulled from other parts of the site. That is not possible with the single text box. In addition, it is easier to format individual text to text box.

  If someone has an idea, I'd love to hear it.

  Yes, which makes it difficult. The only way I can see to get around it is to temporarily remove the 100% width, so you can group objects, and then come back them once you have changed the spacing.

• Table goes out of alignment in the text box

  To fix, you make the text bigger or smaller box and then resize it to what it is supposed to be. Also when I do a first page datamerge moves like that too, even if the rest is correct. When you export to PDF it comes out wrong as well. If anyone wants an example file that I can post it here.

  Well, I think I see here the rub - if you left me speechless for a while there!

  So, I see that you have the text box that contains your table to help you align your table in the center of your page. (i.e. the box containing the text is organized around the outside of the page and the table is centered lef/right using point centering and up/down by using the command "Center" in the control bar. There is nothing particularly wrong with this method, I think it may be the source of your problems with alignment change unexpectedly.

  Looking at your file, I found that the removal of "Center" and change to the opposite to "align top" took the nervous behavior of the text box. It is more shifted when I tried to type. He however move the entire table to the top of the screen. For now we'll leave it there. Align the Page: Centre from left to right, Center t to b.

  Your final result should be an element that is always perfectly centered on the page, but which can be of type in without any unpredictable jump around!

  Now, we will select the entire area that contains the table. In the paragraph Panel, click "Left aligned". This will move the table to the top left of your document. Now, frame content. Go in the Align Panel.

  Hello, I think I'm more or less on track with how I want to expose this design, but I have a question about how the text boxes are spaced of vertically. Here is my document:

  

  I want the text to wrap the png of I inserted the floor plan. When the text gets close to the edge of the png, of course the text continues on the next line. To achieve this effect (not sure if it was the most effective method), I've created a new text box to create a new path by clicking on the Red more framed at the end of the box so that the text continues. Clearly, a novice here.

  My concern is the spacing between each box until the attack of the full text. My attack is set to 26 pt, but I spaced manually areas of text from second and third to match the General attack.

  If I had to change the line spacing, I have to manually set the spacing again box.

  Is - that the route right/only to go for what I want to achieve? Thanks in advance.

  This code assumes that the value of exports of the items in drop-down list box is 0, 1, 2, 3...

  If there is much more that the aQuotes table should really be defiined in a JavaScript file at the level of the document if you are concerned about performance and maintainability.
